Abstract

The increase in the number of diesel vehicles in Indonesia causes an increase in diesel fuel energy demand, so that the use of fuel must be managed as effectively and efficiently as possible. In this study, the addition of TiO2 nanoparticle additives to Dexlite carried out using the ultrasonic bath method. Each batch of synthesis carried out with a capacity of 200 mL for 20 minutes, with variations in Nano-TiO2 loading on Dexlite from 0 mg/L to 200 mg/L. Then tested for physical properties such as density, viscosity, flash point and heating value. They were also tested for emission tests. It was found that the physical properties such as density, viscosity, flash point and heating value of Dexlite-Nano TiO2 did not change significantly. For the emission test, the hydrocarbon emission test results showed a 74% decrease, NOx emission test results showed a 29% decrease, CO emission test results showed a 37% decrease, CO2 emission test results showed a 24% increase. The decrease in NOx achieved by lowering the peak flame temperature after Nano-TiO2 added. The decrease in hydrocarbons, decrease in CO and increase in CO2 emissions achieved by a higher degree of complete combustion, from the O2 supplied by Nano-TiO2.

Abstract

Galena merupakan salah satu jenis batuan yang banyak digunakan sebagai bahan dasar baterai, pelapis kabel, pewarna dan lain-lain. Hasil penambangan galena terkadang masih besar, untuk memperkecil ukuran galena diperlukan proses peremukan dan penggerusan. Kominusi merupakan salah satu tahapan dalam pengolahan bahan galian yang bertujuan untuk memperkecil ukuran bahan galian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persentase fraksi massa yang lolos ayakan galena yang telah diremuk melalui jaw crusher dan digerus dengan ball mill, untuk analisis fraksi menggunakan proses pengayakan. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil pengujian peremukan, penggerusan, dan pengayakan untuk mesh diatas 200 didapatkan berat 800gram dari total sampel 3040 gram. Sehingga penelitian ini berhasil menghasilkan ukuran serbuk sebesar 20,3%.Kata Kunci: peremukan, penggerusan, pengayakan

Abstract

Investment analysis needs to be done to determine the feasibility of a project from an economic perspective. In this research, an investment analysis were applied in a coal mine project. The analysis were considering the results of NPV and IRR. NPV is the result of subtracting discounted costs [8]. IRR is an interest rate that shows the net present value is equal to the total amount of business investment [9]. The methods used in the analysis are the conventional method and the Fuzzy method. Conventional method is done by using NPV and IRR formula in Ms.Excel while Matlab for Fuzzy. The Fuzzy method apply a membership functions, namely triangular fuzzy number. The results of the analysis using conventional methods show an NPV value of $ 14,900,691 or IDR 223 Million with an IRR value of 69.8%. The results of the analysis using the fuzzy method with triangular membership functions showed the NPV values of IDR 232 Million and IRR 40.1 %. From the analysis, it can be seen that the fuzzy method is able to produce a larger NPV but a smaller IRR value whose value is close to conventional methods with the same input variables. So it can be concluded that the fuzzy method is quite well applied in investment analysis and it can help for the final decision of a project

Abstract

The research aims to develop Wana Tirta Pasir Mendit ecotourism, Jangkaran Village, Temon District, Kulon Progo Regency. Knowledge transfer has been used in developing institutions and human resources empowerment. Digital marketing can be used to promote Wana Tirta Pasir Mendit ecotourism through the creation of a website, social media content, and optimization of Google Maps. Therefore, the involvement of local youth in the development of the Wana Tirta Pasir Mendit ecotourism project can contribute to the improvement of human resources capacity and attract tourists through youth empowerment, capacity development, introduction to local culture, and the development of tourism products. To increase the capacity of human resources and draw tourists to Wana Tirta Pasir Mendit ecotourism through digital promotion, local youth involvement in the project's development is crucial. To measure the effectiveness of knowledge transfer in empowering institutions and human resources, several methods had been used, including competency evaluation, and performance assessment. The study found that knowledge transfer is effective in empowering institutions and human resources of Wana Tirta Pasir Mendit ecotourism.

Abstract

Struktur geologi memiliki peranan penting terhadap sirkulasi fluida panas bumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola umum serta distribusi struktur geologi yang berperan sebagai media keluarnya air panas dari reservoir. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui zona permeabilitas tinggi sebagai implikasi dari reservoir yang baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemetaan geologi dan analisis kelurusan. Pemetaan geologi bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi litologi dan struktur geologi di daerah penelitian. Sedangkan analisis kelurusan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola umum struktur geologi dan indikasi zona permeabilitas tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil pemetaan geologi, terdapat dua formasi di daerah penelitian, yaitu Formasi Menggala dan Formasi Telisa. Formasi Menggala tersusun oleh litologi berupa batupasir, batupasir kerikilan, dan konglomerat. Formasi Telisa tersusun oleh litologi berupa batulempung dan napal secara lokal. Daerah penelitian mempunyai enam struktur geologi yang berkembang, yaitu lima sesar dan satu lipatan. Dari enam struktur geologi yang ditemukan, Sesar Patamuan dan Sesar Batangkapugadang diinterpretasikan menjadi struktur yang berperan sebagai jalur keluarnya air panas dari reservoir. Keberadaan manifestasi ini muncul di sekitar perpotongan kedua struktur tersebut. Pada peta densitas kelurusan, perpotongan kedua struktur tersebut berada pada area dengan densitas kelurusan yang rapat. Area tersebut diinterpretasikan sebagai zona hancuran yang diindikasikan sebagai zona permeabilitas tinggi.
