Abstract

The term BRICS, originally introduced by Goldman Sachs economist O'Neill in 2001, stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. By 2030, the group is expected to account for one-third of the world's output, with combined foreign reserves worth $4 trillion and making up around 17% of global trade. Nigeria and South Africa have gained attention due to their political and economic advancements in the twenty-first century, and Nigeria has been predicted to be suitable for the formation of groups like MINT, which includes Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Turkey. This study argues that Nigeria and BRICS could achieve their goals if they work together, as Nigeria's development would benefit from the size of BRICS economies, their economic potential, and the rising global demand for goods. Furthermore, Nigeria's recent economic growth, rapid industrialization, and consistently low labor costs with a workforce of over 200 million highlight the country's potential as a significant missing component in the BRICS equation. With a median age of 18 and a young population aged 15 to 65, Nigeria has one of the youngest populations in the world. China's incredible ascent has been a major theme in the BRICS story, as its sustained growth has changed the distribution of economic power worldwide.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the differences between Shia and Sunni perspectives, including their understanding and concepts. The study uses a qualitative approach with library research and data collection through reference materials. The data is analyzed through data reduction, presentation and conclusions, while data validity is ensured through the triangulation method. The results of the research indicate that Shia refers to supporters of Ali bin Abi Talib, while Sunni adheres to al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah or Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama'ah, which is commonly abbreviated as Ahlul-Sunnah. While both groups use the Qur'an and al-Sunnah as the basis of their understanding, the interpretation and understanding differ. The differences between Shia and Sunni lie only in their methods of understanding and explaining furiyah. Despite these differences, both groups adhere to the Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith.

Abstract

Iran, formerly known as Persia, is one of the oldest countries in the world and has a rich history of approximately 18 dynasties, including the Mede, Sassanian, Samanid, Seljuk, Safavid, Zand, Qajar, and Pahlevi dynasties. The country has undergone significant political changes, transitioning from a monarchy system to an Islamic republic. The Islamic revolution began in 1978 with massive demonstrations against the legitimate government of Reza Pahlevi and was led by Ayatollah Khomeini. Finally, the legitimate government was overthrown, and Iran formally transitioned into the government of the Islamic Republic on April 1, 1979, with the broad Iranian public agreeing to a national referendum. In December of the same year, the country accepted the concept of a theocratic constitution, making Iran an Islamic Republic with the al-Faqih region.

Abstract

Sufism is one of the intellectual property that Islam has, its presence carries its own color and echo, although its presence is often debated and not a few groups consider sufis to be ignorant. However, the contribution of thought from sufistic figures undeniably had a great influence in Islamic discourse, one of which was the sufi view of the plurality of beings. Thus the purpose of this study is to reveal the sufi thinking towards the plurality of makhluk and the oneness of Khaliq. The research methodology used is a qualitative descriptive method. This research found that sufis were divided into two groups, namely the Sufism Falsafi (Theosophy) group and the Sufism Akhlaki group. It is called the falsafi sufism group because it combines reason and intuition (Dzauq), The figures are Al-Hallaj, Ibn 'Arabi and Abu Yazid Al-bustomi. The group thought of Sufism Falsafi, namely Fana, Baqa, and ittihad, was initiated by Abu Yazid Al-Bustomi, Hulul by Al-hallaj, and Wahdatul Wujud by Ibn 'Arabi.

Abstract

Early childhood education requires appropriate learning methods to form a strong foundation in their development. Fun Learning is a fun and engaging learning method that can be used to achieve this goal. Fun Learning combines learning and play, and can be done through role-playing, playing with educational toys, reading stories, and singing and dancing. It is important for teachers to create a fun learning environment that captures the attention of children, and parents can also help in creating activities that can be done at home. Experts such as Piaget and Vygotsky have stated that the Fun Learning approach is suitable for young children and can improve their social, cognitive, and motor skills. However, the role of the teacher as a facilitator and guide is crucial in implementing the Fun Learning method to maximize children's learning outcomes. Research conducted by Gordon and Browne shows that the Fun Learning approach can increase the motivation and interest of young children in learning. Therefore, it is important for educators and parents to understand and effectively apply the Fun Learning method to help the development of young children.
