Abstract

This study aimed to determine the affect of training push-up against increased muscle strength of the arm pull and push. This type of research was a quasi-experiment with research design using " The Randomized Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design". The samples in this study were male of VIII (eight) grade student of SMP N 1 Mengwi in Academic Year 2012/2013 which amounts to 40 people. The research instruments used to test the strength of arm muscle to pull and push is the expanding dynamometer with reliability was 0.9. The data were analyzed by independent t-test at a significance level of 0.05 with SPSS 16,0. Based on the analysis of research data, by the used of independent t-test for strength of arm muscle pull of data obtained a significance value counting that was smaller than the value of α (Sig <0.05) which was equal to 0.044. As for the strength of arm muscle to push resulted significance value that was smaller than the value of α (Sig <0.05) that equal to 0.002. Thus the hypothesis of the research training push-up affected to increase the muscle strength of the arm to pull and push were acceptable. From the results of this study, it could concluded that push-up affected the increased muscle strength of the arm to pull and push.

Abstract

This research refer to  improve the influence of training  plaiometric side jump sprint to speed and strength of muscle. This Research is sham experiment with the device of research of the non randomized control group pretest posttest design. This Subjek Research is extracurricular participant student  football of SMA   N 1 Abiansemal on years leader  2012 / 2013 counted 42 people later;then divided to become 2 group. Speed measured by tes run with quickly 60 metre, while strength of muscle  measured with the instrument of tes leg dynamometer, hereinafter data analysed by uji-t  independent of  level signifikansi 0,05 constructively program SPSS 16,0. Result of  analysis obtained by training of plaiometric of side jump sprint have an effect on to make of speed ( p<0,000). And Training of plaiometric side jump sprint have an effect on to make of strength of muscle  ( p<0,000). That: ( 1) training of plaiometric side jump sprint have an effect on to improve the speed  at extracurricular participant student  football of SMA N 1 Abiansemal on  years leader 2012 / 2013 and ( 2) training of plaiometric side jump sprint have an effect on to improve the strength of muscle  at extracurricular participant student  football of SMA N 1 Abiansemal on years leadre 2012 / 2013. Suggested to athletic perpetrator ( builder, coach, athletic teacher and atlet) by using training of plaiometric side jump sprint as one of the alternative in improving speed and strength of muscle.

Abstract

ABSTRAK I NYOMAN SUDARMADA, Perkembangan Kemampuan Loncat Tegak pada Anak Usia 6-12 Tahun Ditinjau Ketinggian Wilayah Tempat Tinggal di Bali.   Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) perkembangan kemampuan loncat tegak pada anak usia 6-12 yang tinggal di dataran tinggi dan dataran rendah di Bali, 2) perbedaan kemampuan loncat tegak anak usia 6-12 tahun yang tinggal di dataran tinggi dan dataran rendah di Bali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian perkembangan dengan menggunakan metode cross sectional. Populasi yang digunakan untuk dataran tinggi adalah kecamatan Kintamani dan untuk dataran rendah adalah kecamatan Kubu. Jumlah sampel untuk daerah dataran tinggi 507 orang (267 laki-laki dan 240 perempuan) untuk dataran rendah jumlah sampel 572 orang (285 laki-laki dan 287 perempuan). Data kemampuan loncat tegak diukur dengan tes kemampuan loncat tegak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji t pada taraf signifikansi α = 0.05. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) terdapat perkembangan kemampuan loncat tegak pada anak usia 6-12 tahun yang tinggal di dataran tinggi dan tinggal di dataran rendah. Anak yang tinggal di dataran tinggi meningkat 12.4 cm sedangkan anak di dataran rendah meningkat 11.4 cm; 2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan loncat tegak anak usia 6-12 tahun yang tinggal di dataran tinggi dan tinggal di dataran rendah.     Kata-kata kunci : Kemampuan Loncat Tegak, Ketinggian Wilayah Tempat Tinggal.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of training plyometrics zig-zag drills against yield and strength of limb muscles. This type of research is a true experiment with the design of the study randomized pre-test post-test control group design. Samples of the student’s research is the son of class VIII SMP N 1 Mengwi year 2012/2013 lessons as much as 40 people then divided into two groups. An explosive vertical jump test measured by muscle power while limbs are measured with a leg dynamometer, the next leg of the test data were analysed by t-test for independent significance level 0,05 at with the help of the program SPSS 16,0. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, using independent t-test for the data yield limb muscles gained significance rating count is smaller than the value of a (sig < 0,05) which is equal to 0,001. As for limb muscle strength data obtained significance value count is smaller than the value of a (sig < 0,05) which of research plyometrics zig-zag drills training effect on yield and strength of limb muscles is acceptable. Recommended for sports players (teachers, coaches, builders of the sports and athletes) by using the plyometrics zig-zag drills training as one alternative in increasing yield and strength of limb muscles.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the training run three corners (corner three drill) and jump side sprint to the decline in resting pulse rate class VII student son SMP N 2 Singaraja. Data resting pulse rate measured by the radial pulse rate test (palpation). Data were analyzed by independent t-test at significance level (α) of 0.05, using the SPSS 16.0 program. Results of data analysis showed a decrease in the average value of the variable pulse break. In the training group ran three corners a decline of 21.55 beats per minute, side jump sprint training group a decrease of 18.35 beats per minute and the control group decreased by 8 beats per minute. For one-way anava test results data is resting pulse rate per minute to get the significance F value (0,000) is smaller than the value of α (Sig <0.05) this shows the difference between the effect of the training run three corners and jump side sprint to the resting pulse rate. LSD test results data is resting pulse rate per minute to get the smallest value is 3.200 * for group training run three corners, 10,600 * for the side jump sprint training group and 13,800 * for the control group. From the results obtained LSD training run three angles have the smallest value compared side jump sprint training group or a control group. For data resting pulse rate, training is the best training effect with the smallest LSD results. This is because the smaller the frequency of a person's resting pulse rate, the better the physical condition owned.

Abstract

The research was conducted in order to figure out the effect fartlek training and obstacle run towards cardiorespiratori endurance. This research was quasi-experimental with the design uses the modifide randomized pre-test post-test control group design. Sampel used was son student of class X of  SMAN 1 Amlapura school year 2012/2013 as many 30 people. Cardiorespiratory endurance was measured with a 2.4 kilometer test. Analysis of the data used in this research with One Way ANOVA test with SPSS 16.0 the results variable fartlek training group and obstacle run training group with a significance α (0.000 < 0.05). Followed by Least Significant Different (LSD) tes for comparison, the fartlek training (-1.57) is better than obstacle run training (-0.96). From these results it can be concluded that:(1) fartlek training have effect on cardiorespiratory endurance, (2)obstacle run training have effect on cardiorespiratory endurance. (3) there are difference effect on fartlek and obstacle run training, fartlek training is better than obstacle run training  for cardiorespiratory endurance. Recommended for sports people use to fartlek training as alternative to improve cardiorespiratory endurance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mendeskripsikan tingkat VO2 maks siswa kelas XI dan XII SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja tahun pelajaran  2008/2009, mendeskripsikan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI dan XII SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja tahun pelajaran  2008/2009, mengetahui korelasi antara VO2 maks dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI dan XII SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja tahun pelajaran  2008/2009. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja menggunakan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI dan XII tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 yang berjumlah 445 orang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 96 siswa diambil dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu VO2 maks dan variabel terikat prestasi belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment pada taraf signifikansi a = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1)VO2 maks siswa kelas XI dan XII SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja tahun pelajaran  2008/2009, yang tergolong baik sebanyak 2%, sedang 12%, kurang 23% dan kurang sekali 64%. 2) Prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI dan XII SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja tahun pelajaran  2008/2009, yang tergolong baik sekali 55%, baik 41%, cukup 4,2%. 3) Ada korelasi antara VO2 maks dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI dan XII SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2008/2009, dimana nilai signifikansi hitung (0,00) < a = 0,05.   Kata-kata kunci: VO2 maks, prestasi belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of sprint training hexagonal obstacle and side hop to the increase in leg muscle explosive power. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with the design of a non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject students high school football participants ektrakurikuler Study Tour Singaraja school year 2012/2013 amounted to 27 people, and then divided into 3 groups with ordinal pairing technique that has 9 people. Explosive leg muscle power was measured by vertical jump test. Data were analyzed by F test (one way ANOVA) at the significance level (α) = 0.05 with SPSS 16.0. Results of data analysis showed that the treatment group hexagonal obstacle in an increase of 10.22 cm, the treatment group sprint hop side and an increase of 9.33 in the control group increased by 1.22 cm. Results of one way ANOVA test explosive leg muscle power variables between the treatment and control groups gained significance Fcount 9,995 and 0,001. From the results of research and discussion can be concluded: 1). Hexagonal obstacle training and sprint berpengaryh hop side to increase the explosive power of the leg muscles. 2). There is a difference between the effect of hexagonal obstacle training and sprint training side where the hexagonal obstacle hop better.
