Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors that affect the achievement of students from North Sumatra in the Economics Education study program at FKIP University of Palangka Raya. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to identify and analyze factors that affect the academic and non-academic achievement of students from North Sumatra in the FKIP Economics Education study program, University of Palangka Raya. The results of the study showed that factors such as participation in student organizations, awards for academic and non-academic achievements, participation in competitions, community service activities, the role as a leader, experience in research and publication of scientific papers contributes significantly to the achievement of student achievement. Students have a strong desire and desire to achieve achievements, even though they face various obstacles. Advice is given to students to take advantage of available resources, take an active role in campus activities, maintain health, seek support, and set long-term goals. The implications of this research are the importance of support and facilities for students in optimizing their potential to achieve achievements in higher education.

Abstract

Business growth is characterized by an increasing number of sales However, this condition seems difficult for MSMEs because they have not been able to withstand competition, maintain customer satisfaction, and attract buying interest. Therefore, to increase sales, it is necessary to diversify products to attract customers to buy. The existence of this tirk power is expected to create an increase in sales. The purpose of this research is used to determine the impact of product diversification using augmented reality technology on increasing sales and profit growth during the September-November period in 2023 at UMKM gedebog.idn Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative descriptive research method Data obtained from primary data The study population consisted of all sales volume and profit data during June-November 2023. Sampling data using purposive sampling using samples of sales volume and profits in September-October 2023. The results showed that product diversification using augmented reality has positive results on increasing sales in the range of 26-41% and profit growth in the range of 24-28%.

Abstract

The first problem is weak supervision and monitoring of the implementation of employee duties.  Second, there is still a distribution of duties from the principal to employees which is not in accordance with the employee's expertise. This indicates that the leadership carried out has not been effective. Another problem with this research is that some teachers still do not adhere to time regulations, there are still teachers who do not make lesson plans. Based on this, this research was conducted to determine work discipline and teacher performance regarding leadership styles. The design of this research is quantitative research. This research uses observation, questionnaire, and documentation data collection methods. The analysis techniques used are simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, t test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination and F test. This research is expected to contribute to understanding how an effective leadership style can improve work discipline and teacher performance as well as provide recommendations to improve the quality of education in schools. The results of the research show that Work Discipline and Teacher Performance have a significant effect on the leadership style of the principal at SMP Negeri 12 Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

PT MBKV (Mitra Bisnis Keluarga Ventura) is a non-bank private financial institution that engages in microfinance activities. This study aims to ascertain whether microfinance and business assistance exert a combined and partial influence on the business development of customers of PT Mitra Bisnis Keluarga Ventura Tanah Tinggi Branch in Tangerang City.  The population comprised 203 customers, while the sample size was limited to 135. The data collection process involved the use of observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique employs instrument testing and hypothesis testing. The independent variable comprises microfinance and business assistance, while the dependent variable is business development. A multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to test the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of data processing through SPSS 27 indicate that microfinance and business assistance exert a significant influence on the business development of customers of PT Mitra Bisnis Keluarga Ventura Tanah Tinggi Branch in Tangerang City. The influence of microfinance and business assistance on business development is significant, with a magnitude of 47.3%. Furthermore, the provision of microfinance and effective business assistance can facilitate continuous business development, thereby achieving optimal results.

Abstract

The language education industry sector has undergone significant transformations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, prompting a need for businesses to adapt to uncertain circumstances. This research aims to explore the opportunities and challenges encountered by entities in the English language education sector after these dynamic times. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, the study focuses on managers of English language courses and training institutions in the South Sulawesi region who volunteered as informants. The selection process utilized a snowball sampling technique, allowing for the inclusion of additional informants when necessary. Data collection involved interviews conducted through both zoom and in-person meetings. Analysis of the gathered data employed techniques from Miles and Huberman. The study's findings reveal interconnected opportunities and challenges faced by post-pandemic course managers, particularly concerning the implementation of distance learning. Consequently, strategies of affirmation are crucial to ensure the continued viability of businesses in the English language education industry.
