Abstract

This study aims to determine the Pear Deck application as an interactive learning medium in Indonesian lessons regarding descriptive texts. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study were obtained based on observations and written interviews conducted online. Junior high school level students (SMP) are the subjects in this study. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the use and use of the Pear Deck application as an interactive learning medium in Indonesian language learning related to descriptive text material. The source of this research data was obtained through the learning process carried out online or online with the research subjects using the Pear Deck application. Based on the results and discussion in this study, the Pear Deck application can be used for Indonesian language learning media because it can create interactive learning through the features provided.

Abstract

ICT-based education is something that is used during the current pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the world of education, which not only affects one level, but also affects all levels of education. The use of ICT-based learning media can be used as one of the media that can be used by teachers in distance learning. Evaluation media that is suitable to be used is socrative. Socrative is a student response system that allows teachers to create interactive quizzes or games and involve students directly. This research uses descriptive-qualitative method because the data used are words and the final result is a description. This research was motivated because the world of education during the Covid-19 pandemic was like doing distance learning. This makes teachers and students obliged to carry out learning at home. It seems to have an impact on presenting the material given by the teacher to students. This study aims to introduce online-based learning media that can be used in distance learning as it is today. Socrative is a learning evaluation media that is used as a practice question that is used as a benchmark for students after being given the material by the teacher. This medium is included in easy media and has various forms of quiz. In addition, you can use it via the web without first downloading the application. This media is suitable for use in Indonesian language learning which requires all students to have the ability in good and correct language. This research discusses the steps for using and using socrative media.

Abstract

Kajian dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada bidang sintaksis yaitu frasa. Analisis frasa pada artikel opini “Ketika Ruang Kelas, Memperlambat Kreativitas” yang dimuat pada laman kompasiana.com edisi 29 September 2020 ini dilatar belakangi karena adanya banyak upadiskeberagaman penggunaan frasa pada artikel online khususnya artikel opini. Namun peneliti lebih tertarik dan memfokusnya kajiannya pada frasa nomina dan frasa verba yang bertujuan  agar nantinya dapat menganalisis pemakaian jenis frasa yaitu frasa nomina dan frasa verba  dalam   sebuah   artikel opini. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis frasa pada artikel opini ini adalah metode  penelitian  kualitatif  dengan  teknik dibaca dan dicatat.  Hasil dari penelitian yang menganalisis frasa berupa frasa nomina dan frasa verba, pengkajian frasa nomina dari segi perilaku sintaksisnya peneliti menemukan frasa nomina yang diwatasi Numeralia, Nomina, Adjektiva dan Preposisi. Sedangkan pada frasa verba dari segi kategorinya peneliti menemukan 9 frasa verba koordinatif dan 2 frasa verba apositif dari artikel yang dikaji tersebut. Frase nomina dan frasa verba merupakan unsur yang keberadaannya paling wajib dalam suatu kalimat. Diharapkan dengan memahami jenis frase nomina dan frase verba ini, pembaca akan mampu memahami, membedakan penggunaan frasa dalam sebuah kalimat. Juga diharapkan pembaca mampu mengetahui secara lebih mendalam seluruh makna yang terkandung dalam sebuah kalimat.

Abstract

The large variety of languages used by FIP UMJ students are bilingual and multilingual. This led to the selection of codes used in the utterances of UMJ FIP students. The purpose of this study was to describe the selection of codes used by UMJ FIP students. Based on the Betawi students' speech, the code selection was (1) single language, which includes non-formal Indonesian, Betawi language, and Sundanese language; (2) code switching; and (3) code mix.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand how the first language affects learning a second language. The study is a study in psychoolinguistics the subject of the study is six-year-olds, with madura (the first language) as madura and the second language is Indonesian. The study USES qualitative descriptive methods with a string of string phenomena. Studies have shown the impact of the first language, with the everyday speech of children. The data shows the blending of the first language with the second language. The causes of the influence of the first language are due to the lack of training in English in a daily life, and the use of Indonesian only in school, which is affected by the time both child and mistake (mistake), mistake.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Indonesian spelling errors in writing social media posts. The sample was taken from Instagram social media. On each account that uploads photos containing writing. This research is a descriptive research that focuses on extracting qualitative data by looking at a detailed description of the research subject. From the results of this study, in general it can be said that Indonesian language errors in social media uploads on Instagram are still common and are not in accordance with good and correct Indonesian language rules. The forms contained in writing errors include spelling, spacing, and the writing that is conveyed is not in accordance with the rules for using good and correct Indonesian. Writing errors in Instagram uploads are caused by the influence of the use of everyday language based on written and spoken language in their environment, limited knowledge of Indonesian language rules, and the tendency to imitate. In addition, they often ignore how to use good written language.
