Abstract

Metamorphosis is a cycle of biological animal growth. Learning Metamorphosis is a part of learning for students in schools specifically in the area of biology subjects. Unfortunately, the observing activities take time, and finding an animal specimen is limited to study the metamorphosis cycle. This research proposes an innovative solution to overcome these problems which is the implementation of augmented reality technology. The animal metamorphosis cycle process is visualized into 4-dimensional objects to improve interaction for the student on learning metamorphosis during learning sessions. The Marker-Based Tracking method is used as an approach where the location of the tracking pattern on the marker has been determined in advance as the place where the augmented reality object appears. The results of this study indicate that using a marker-based tracking method can improve students' understanding of metamorphosis.

Abstract

Work equipment inventory management at the service division of PT. Arista Sukses Mandiri Jakarta is still done manually using printed forms (for daily checks) and handwritten books (which record every piece of equipment that enters and/or leaves the warehouse), therefore personnel needs more time to carry out these activities. Equipment inventory management must be correct and precise between existing data and the reality in the field, but if it is carried out manually the risk of data error is higher than if it is carried out using a computerized system. Also, using a computerized system in an equipment inventory environment can make the process faster, thus achieving time efficiency. The web-based inventory system was developed by the author (as well as the developer) to solve or at least reduce the problem. The model used in the development of this web-based application system is a waterfall development model with whirlpools for beginners as suggested by Powel et al. This model consists of problem definition, needs analysis, prototype design, implementation, integration/testing, release/maintenance. The final product of research and development written in this paper is a web-based application for work equipment inventory that can make the process faster, precise, and efficient.

Abstract

Rumah Kost Hj. Gaby is one of the many boarding houses for rent around industrial areas and offices in the Tg. Priok area, North Jakarta. This boarding house still uses a board in front of the house to indicate that the house is rented out for boarding. This method is less effective in promoting the boarding house because prospective tenants must accidentally pass and see the promotion board. The down payment for boarding and monthly rent still has to meet directly with the owner of the boarding house so that it requires special time. The boarding rental information system that is designed is expected to help prospective tenants or tenants to make more practical order and payment transactions, in addition to helping boarding owners tidy up their boarding room rental management The methods used in this research are: interviews, observation, and literacy studies for data collection. Meanwhile, the model used for software development uses the Rapid Application Development Model (RAD). The results of this study are expected to assist boarding owners in promoting their boarding houses and also provide a more effective way of conducting transactions related to the boarding houses.

Abstract

Time series data is interesting research material for many people. Not a few models have been produced, but very optimal accuracy has not been obtained. Neural network is one that is widely used because of its ability to understand non-linear relationships between data. This study will combine a neural network with exponential smoothing to produce higher accuracy. Exponential smoothing is one of the best linear methods is used for data set transformation and thereafter the new data set will be used in training and testing the Neural Network model. The resulting model will be evaluated using the standard error measure Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Each model was compared with its RMSE value and then performed a T-Test. The proposed ES-NN model proved to have better predictive results than using only one method.

Abstract

Javanese script is one of the special characters that need to be studied specifically. At the elementary to high school level in central Java province, there are regional language subjects, namely Javanese language that has Javanese script. Javanese characters are different from the Latin writings used daily, so it requires special understanding and teaching. There are still many students who have difficulty learning Javanese script and limited learning time in elementary school for Javanese language subjects. In addition to helping students to learn Javanese characters more easily, this application is designed so that outsiders can also learn Javanese characters to preserve the culture and love the culture in Indonesia more. The method used in the development of mobile applications is the prototype model with this modelhe author can interact directly with the user so that it can tell the difficulty, provide inputs on what can be set on the application, and what is needed by the user. This application can be useful to learn Javanese characters by utilizing information technology according to the development of the times.

Abstract

Finding the appropriate location is crucial when starting a franchise. The appropriate location will affect the overall business risk and profitability of the franchise. Nevertheless, some franchises have a bankruptcy in running their business. One of the factors that contribute to the bankruptcy of a franchise business is a location that does not meet several criteria that support business success. Therefore, this study aims to propose a decision support system model to determine the location of the franchise based on matching profiles between the actual data value of a location and the value of the location profile expected by the franchisor. The profile matching method has a better level of objectivity because it measures the value of each indicator variable. The criteria for determining the location of a franchise are potential customers, access to location, competition, and costs. The test results show that the decision support system to determine the location of the franchise using the profile matching method meets the functional requirements. This decision support system helps franchises to determine the appropriate when starting a franchise.

Abstract

GM Motor Pontianak is a company engaged in the sale and service of motorbikes. Service transaction data processing and motorbike sales are still managed in a simple way, namely recording transactions into a ledger and copied to Microsoft Excel for recapitulation or report presentation. The main problem that becomes an obstacle for the company is that the admin as a transaction data processor often makes mistakes and delays in making a recapitulation of monthly sales transactions, as well as errors in making financial reports. Therefore, this study discusses the design of the accounting information system for purchases, sales, and services implemented at PT. GM Motor Pontianak. The method used in the development of this system is the waterfall model, because the system design is carried out systematically through the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing and support. The resulting accounting information system provides facilities to two users, namely Admin and Director. Admin who can manage account data, spare part brands, spare part data, mechanical data, tariff data, account data, spare part purchase transactions, spare part sales transactions, service transactions, sales and expense transactions. The director can process user data, access spare part stock reports, purchase reports, sales reports, service service reports, mechanical incentive reports, general journal reports, general ledger reports, trial balance reports and income statements. The system built is expected to help PT. GM Motor Pontianak in managing purchases, sales and service transactions and producing financial reports in accordance with financial accounting standards.

Abstract

Pinang is a digital application-based BRI Agro product that runs on the Android operating system, where with this application customers can apply for loans without collateral digitally, anywhere and anytime. In its journey, the Pinang application certainly does not run smoothly, the application should continue to grow and must be able to face challenges from various sectors, as well as the system that runs on the Pinang application, which has continued to be developed to date, in line with the increasing number of users of the Pinang application. This makes it difficult for the operational team to manage and monitor user data with the number of users increasing day by day if they continue to use conventional methods. Of course, we need a system that can help the process of managing data from Pinang customers, starting from adding company cooperation with the Pinang application to maintaining and monitoring the system digitally. So a Pinang dashboard information system was created that can assist in the operation of the Pinang application that is able to manage data, monitor and maintain if there are problems in the Pinang application borrowing process. The Pinang dashboard can make it easier to manage, monitor and provide information related to the Pinang application. The areca dashboard is built using the waterfall model. The result of this research is the creation of a dashboard information system for the Pinang money lending application.

Abstract

Abstract¾Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is a technique used in this study that is used to study techniques for identifying leaf diseases using digital images as a basis for obtaining an understanding of disease identification techniques in melon leaves with digital images. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency for the last 3 years from 2017-2019, melon production has increased considerably. Melon production data in 2017 was 92.43 tons, in 2018 was 118,708 and in 2019, overall melon production was 122,105 tons collected from 34 provinces in Indonesia. The problem that is often encountered in melon cultivation is the presence of plant pests that can harm and not maximize the yields of farmers. Several viruses cause mosaic disease that infects Cucurbitaceae plants, namely Cucumber aphid borne yellows virus (CABYV), Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV), Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Papaya ringspot virus (PRSV), Squash mosaic virus (SqMV), Squash leaf curl virus (SLCV), Watermelon mosaic virus (WMV). Information technology has now developed to be able to manage digital image data to identify problems faced by farmers. Several classification methods that can be used to answer problems include SVM, Artificial Neural Network, Decision Tree, Convolutional Neural Network.
