The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted in class IV of SDN 3 Lape Sumbawa with a population of 25 students. The subjects consisted of 2 students randomly sumpling. The instruments used in this research were test questions, interview guidelines and also wide range of observations. The data analysis techniques in this research are as follows: 1) data reduction; 2) data presentation; and 3) withdrawal. The results of the research are that students' misconceptions are different in each question number. In Figure 1 there are misconceptions in grouping and performing arithmetic operations on multiplication. In Figure 2 there is an error in the concept of calculating addition and subtraction. In Figure 3, students have misconceptions about the concept of mixed multiplication calculation operations which are operated with repetition calculation operations. In Figure 4, students' misconceptions regarding multiplication calculation operations are students' misconceptions regarding the operation of multiplication and subtraction calculation operations. Misconceptions occur due to two factors; 1) The first factor is because students interpret new experiences or concepts, 2) The second is because of the emotional and intellectual feelings that have been attached to students, so students find it difficult to accept new concepts that are different from students' understanding.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between the learning environment and students' motivation through qualitative analysis of interviews and focus groups. Key themes emerged highlighting the influence of various environmental aspects on motivation. Participants emphasized the importance of supportive teacher relationships, noting that teachers who demonstrate genuine interest and provide constructive feedback foster higher motivation levels. A positive classroom climate characterized by respect, collaboration, and inclusivity was also identified as crucial for engagement. Peer interactions, particularly through collaborative learning experiences, enhanced motivation by creating a sense of belonging and accountability. Additionally, access to diverse resources and learning tools was vital for maintaining motivation, with students expressing a desire for engaging materials. The physical characteristics of learning spaces, such as seating arrangements and lighting, significantly impacted motivation, with flexible and organized environments contributing to comfort and engagement. While many students appreciated technology's role in facilitating interactive learning, concerns about distractions underscored the need for balanced integration. Overall, the findings align with existing literature, offering new insights into factors influencing motivation across educational levels. The study underscores the necessity for educators to foster supportive relationships, promote a positive classroom climate, provide diverse resources, and thoughtfully integrate technology, ultimately enhancing student engagement and success. Future research should further explore these dynamics, particularly in the context of evolving educational practices and technological advancements.

Abstract

This community service is entitled teacher strategies in training students' literacy and numeracy through media-based learning at SDN 5 in Pansor village, Kayangan sub-district, North Lombok district. This service is carried out with several objectives, first, to increase awareness about the importance of learning numeracy literacy from an early age, second, to provide knowledge to the students of SDN 5 Sesait that learning numeracy literacy is not just by reading books but can use several tools. apart from books such as drawing media and ice cream sticks and so on. The method used is a face-to-face and direct practice method of learning literacy and numeracy using image-based media or using ice cream sticks by constructing a framework. The results obtained from this service or socialization are to outline the methods used by teachers to teach students mathematics and literacy using media-based learning. Numeracy literacy is one of the first steps or stages that must be trained in school.  One of the factors causing media-based Literacy and Numeracy training to be held in Pansor Village, especially at SDN 5 Sesait, is the low ability in reading and arithmetic in grades 5 and 6 which is caused by contemporary factors, namely playing online games and playing social media, especially for children. elementary school children who are continuously without parental supervision.

Abstract

This paper examines key theories underlying directed technology integration strategies in education, focusing on objectivist learning approaches. The study reviews and analyzes several influential theories, including B.F. Skinner's behaviorism, Atkinson and Shiffrin's information processing model, Robert Gagne's conditions of learning, and systems theory approaches to instructional design. The analysis reveals how these theories provide conceptual foundations for technology integration in education. Behaviorism emphasizes reinforcement and observable outcomes. Information processing theory explains memory and cognitive processes. Gagne's work highlights conditions for effective learning. Systems approaches offer frameworks for designing technology-enhanced instruction. While each theory offers valuable insights, an integrated approach incorporating behaviorist, cognitive, and constructivist perspectives may be most effective for technology-enhanced learning. Understanding these theoretical underpinnings can guide educators in developing more effective technology integration strategies and creating optimal learning conditions in digital environments. This paper synthesizes key objectivist learning theories relevant to educational technology, providing a theoretical foundation to inform technology integration practices in modern education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the "Find Someone Who" method in improving the English-speaking skills of Lombok Tourism Polytechnic (POLTEKPAR) students. It is hoped that this method can provide an innovative alternative in teaching English, especially in the tourism context. Through an experimental research design, two classes with 30 students each were used as samples, where class VIIIA applied the "Find Someone Who" method as the experimental class, while class VIIIB used the conventional method as the control class. Data collection was carried out through speaking tests and analysis of the results showed that the experimental class obtained an average score of 77.1, while the control class only achieved 66.90. The statistical test shows that the calculated t value of 3.31 is greater than the t table of 2.00, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which means there is a positive influence of the "Find Someone Who" method on students' speaking skills. These findings emphasize the importance of an interactive learning approach in improving students' verbal communication skills in the tourism sector.
