Abstract

Puppet art is an art that is loaded with philosophical values. The presentation is packaged in an orchestral performance and is very collaborative, there are visual arts, dance arts, literary arts, and music (gamelan) arts. Everything is harmoniously integrated and in harmony with its physical and social architecture. Therefore, the interesting wayang art is used as a medium in education to present the spirit, impression, and moral message of students/students. This creation or creation uses the Artistic Research method and the Practice Based Research thinking scheme, focusing on contemporary artworks. It aims to create knowledge through practice-based expression. How to realize the design of a work of art creation using cow or buffalo leather media can reflect a moral message through existing decorations and ornaments using an aesthetic approach and leather craft. The design of this leather craft produces an artifact in the form of the puppet gunungan paraga Abdullah bin Umar. In this work, the aesthetic effect that appears is a combination of decorations and ornaments as well as harmonious calligraphy of character names. So that this media can present beauty in conveying Abdullah bin Umar's message of religiosity.

Abstract

Living Hadis is a phenomenon of practice, tradition, ritual or behavior living in a society based on the rules of the Prophet Muhammad; this article is one of the practices of living hadis in Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School concerning the al-ayyam al-bidl fasting tradition. The practice departs from hadith's understanding of the al-ayyam al-bidl fasting advice (on white days, 13th, 14th, 15th, every hijri month). The focus of this study is to know the practice and history of the implementation of al-ayyam al-bidl fasting and explore how the santri and the society around Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School interpret the implementation of al-ayyam al-bidl fasting. This research is descriptive, that is to explain the living hadis in Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School systematically. The approach of this study is phenomenology. This study concluded that, first, the al-ayyam al-bidl fasting tradition is carried out by all santris of Wali Songo and the local society, that fast has been carried out since the establishment of Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School in 1993. On the third day of fasting, the Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School leader invites the santri and the society to break their fast together at one of the beaches in Situbondo and continue with the Maghrib and Isya’ prayer in a congregation. Secondly, the al-ayyam al-bidl fasting is one of the proofs of love for the Prophet by carrying out his sunnahs because the sunnah is not only known but also carried out. In addition, it is also a means to strengthen solidarity between santri and society.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide an understanding to the public about the living al-Qur'an, which is sought to strengthen Islamic humanism in the context of civil society through the text and contextualization of the Qur'an. This is based on the fact that Indonesia has a majority Muslim population and should rely on understanding Islamic humanism with the Qur'an as a guide and a barometer of life. The method in this research is library research with analysis of the Koran as the primary source, the method used in analyzing is the maudhui interpretation method through the stages of collecting verses of the Koran related to humanism and using the asbabun nuzul approach and interpretation contextual when the verse was revealed. The result of this research is to provide an understanding of the living al-Qur'an as the main step to improving understanding of the verses of the Qur'an and strengthening Islamic humanism in the context of civil society in Indonesia so that the Qur'an can be applied in life, not only textually. But contextually, in Indonesian society.

Abstract

This article will lead us to the knowledge of the concept of Qur'anic humanism, especially in Al-Balad. The concept of Qur'anic humanism can be used as an antidote against increased dehumanization. As we know, humanitarian problems have always occurred, even from the creation of the Prophet Adam to this contemporary period. Humanism from the Qur'an, which in the corridor of Islamic humanism, will be used as one way to realize the humanist life among Muslims in particular and all mankind in general. This research uses the theory of discursive Islamic anthropology from Talal Asad as an approach. Talal Asad, an anthropologist, considers that Religion should be viewed and explained uniquely and under the prevailing socio-historical context, not by the analogy of words alone. Therefore, Talal Asad offers a theory of cultural anthropology that examines Islamic culture from three points of view: the culture of the past, the present (past cultural changes), and the conformity of present culture with the future. The results of this research will be able to prove that the Qur'an can be integrated with various sciences to answer problems in the past or contemporary.

Abstract

The classroom action research discusses the application of cooperative learning Teams Games Tournament (TGT)- Giant Ladder Snake to improve students’ Arabic speaking skills. The study involved students of class IX IPA 3 at SMAIT As-Syifa Boarding School Wanareja Subang. The research instrument used to collect data consisted of student activity observation sheets and an oral test of speaking skills. The study was conducted in two cycles by following several research steps proposed by Kemmis & Taggart (1999). Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection steps. The result of this study were a cooperative learning Teams Games Tournament (TGT)- Giant Ladder Snake was effective in learning Arabic, especially in learning speaking skills, because it is seen from the increase in the percentage of student activity from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the percentage results, the initial student activity level was 73%, increasing to 94.2%. There was also an increase in the percentage of students' oral test scores, in the first cycle which was 35.51% to 85.2% in the second cycle.

Abstract

Vocabulary is important think to mastering the language. In a language, the amount of vocabulary greatly influences a person's ability to use the language and support four language competences such as listening, reading, speaking and writing. Likewise in Arabic, mufrodat can support maharotul Istima’, maharotul Kalam, maharotul Qiroah and maharotul Kitabah. This Research aims to using singing method to mastering of Arabic vocabulary or mufrodat in class VII students SMPIT As Syifa Jalancagak Subang. This type of research is using PTK (Classroom Action Research) design, with two cycle’s model. Data collection techniques include observation of students, teacher and class activity, interview, and test. While the data analysis used is qualitative, the results of data analysis show that the learning process with singing methods can increase the students' Arabic vocabulary easily. The result of observation whose love to sing to memorize is 93,3%, who’s feel easier 86%,, who’s have interesting experience 100%, who’s choose singing method over conventional 73,33%. And the research was successful because there was an 80% increase in.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of school financial management in the fulfillment of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Puri which focuses on planning and implementing school financial management in fulfilling educational facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Puri Mojokerto. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis with the research sub-genres including the principal, school treasurer and waka in the field of facilities and infrastructure. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources and techniques. The data obtained were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that the process of planning and implementing finances in fulfilling educational facilities and infrastructure at SMAN 1 Puri has been carried out optimally, as evidenced by the availability of educational facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the provisions regarding high school facilities and infrastructure standards. Financial management is carried out using the principles of transparency and public accountability.

Abstract

The problem in this research is about the process of accelerating the ability to read the Qur'an, the results to the supporting and inhibiting factors in accelerating the ability to read the Qur'an through the Qur'anic Sidogiri method in langgar al-maryam blu'uran village and langgar al-Qur'an. falah tlambah village coral penang sampang. To solve this problem, the researcher uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type. The location of the research is in langgar al-maryam, blu'uran village and langgar al-falah, tlambah coral village, penang sampang with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis was carried out during the research process and after the research took place with an inductive analysis model in reducing data, presenting data and analyzing data. In the results of the research conducted by the teacher of langgar al-maryam, blu'uran village, coral penang sampang and langgar al-falah in accelerating the ability to read the al-qur'an through question and answer, observing, to collecting data, associating and communicating the results. While the results were violated by al-Maryam after using the Qur'anic Sidogiri method, it had begun to develop and all the procedures directed by the Sidogiri Qur'anic method team were carried out well. Meanwhile, in Vital al-Falah, the village of Tlambah Karang, Penang, Sampang saw the results after using the Qur'an;'ani Sidogiri method, it was also proven that students after completing Juz 5 could be sure to be able to read the Qur'an properly in accordance with the rules of the science of tajwid. The factors that support the acceleration of the ability to read the Qur'an are violated by al-Maryam in addition to practical methods, as well as teacher certification because there are senior teachers who are very competent and hard working, and an environment that is still thick with religious knowledge. Meanwhile, in violation of al-falah the teacher's persistence in providing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the implementation of religious literacy in elementary school students. Religious literacy needs to be taught to students so that they can live in the midst of this modern society. Religious literacy is one of the abilities to see and analyze the basic relationship between religion and social, political and cultural life through various perspectives. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive perspective. The results of the study indicate that religious literacy includes several things, including a basic understanding of the central texts that are the core of religion, history, and contemporary manifestations of religious traditions that are shaped according to certain social, political and cultural contexts. Religious literacy in addition to fostering interest in reading also trains students to be able to criticize sources of knowledge related to religion or the values ​​that they get in the form of text (books), oral, visual, and digital. Through a deep understanding of the sources of knowledge, one can choose various alternative values ​​and apply them as a form of self-actualization. Based on these results, it can be recommended that religious literacy is important to do from an early age, even from small things.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembacaan kritis terhadap buku atau tafsir Fî Zhilâl al-Qur`ân yang ditulis oleh Sayyid Quthb. Tafsir atau buku ini diduga oleh sebagian pihak telah menjadi inspirasi gerakan terorisme, khususnya penafsiran-penafsirannya terhadap ayat-ayat perang. Menggunakan kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan morfologi dan tematik dalam teori Mahmud Syaltut, penelitian ini berupaya memverifikasi apakah penafsiran Sayyid Quthb dapat memicu terorisme? Dan, dengan pendekatan kritik wacana, penelitian ini juga akan mengkritisi penafsiran Sayyid Quthb terhadap ayat-ayat qitâl. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan, Sayyid Quthb sudah ekstrem sejak awal. Bahkan sikap ekstrem inilah yang menjadi kecenderungannya. Adapun penafsiran Sayyid Quthb yang dapat memicu aksi terorisme dibuktikan dalam tulisan-tulisannya dalam delapan indikasi, yaitu: jihad ofensif, memerangi anak-anak, wanita dan manula Ahli Kitab, memerangi kekufuran, perang melawan riba, amar makruf akbar-nahi mungkar akbar, dâr al-islâm dan dâr al-harb, ketentuan final ayat al-qitâl dan takfîrîy; dan sebagai buktinya ide pemikiran itu diadopsi oleh organisasi-organisasi terorisme, dari Ikhwanul Muslimin sampai yang sekarang ini ISIS. Penafsiran Sayyid Quthb terhadap ayat-ayat qitâl juga bercorak harakîy yang tidak mengindahkan prinsip, kaidah, fikih dan teori fikih yang telah baku dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an yang justru mengakibatkan penafsiran yang salah.
