Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students studying at TPA Mujahiddin Bungo Tanjung Anak Air Mosque, Padang City. The low learning outcomes are thought to be due to one of the reasons the learning environment for students is not conducive. This research can be seen the relationship between the learning environment and the learning outcomes of students at TPA Mujahiddin Bungo Tanjung Anak Air Mosque, Padang City. This type of research is a quantitative research with correlational descriptive techniques. The study population was students at TPA Mujahiddin Mosque from grades one, two and three. The sampling technique uses Stratified Random Sampling. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire with a conducive data collection tool; significant learning outcomes between the learning environment and the learning outcomes of Santri at TPA Mujahiddin Bungo Tanjung Anak Air Mosque, Padang City. It is suggested that managers/educators at TPA Mujahiddin Mosque and their parents can support students' learning activities by creating a conducive learning environment so that students can study well.Keywords: learning environment, learning outcomes, TPA

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of discipline of Scout members when participating in after-school activities Scouting activities at SMPN 7 Padang. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the motivation of Scout members participating in Scout extracurricular activities, a description of the discipline of Scout members participating in Scout extracurricular activities, and a description of the discipline of Scout members participating in Scout extracurricular activities. Just that. extracurricular activities to see the relationship between motivation and discipline when attending SMPN 7 Padang. This type of research is quantitative and uses a correlational approach. The population of this study amounted to 95 students, of all eighth-grade students of SMPN 7 Padang are still registered as after-school Scout members. Sampling was done by using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire that was distributed directly. About the data analysis method using the moment formula. As a result, Scout members who participate in Scout extracurricular activities have low discipline, Scout members who participate in Scout extracurricular activities have very high motivation, and there is a relationship between Scout extracurricular motivation in SMPN 7 Padang.Keywords: motivation to follow, discipline of scout members, scout extracurricular

Abstract

The background of this research is the low learning motivation of residents learning the package A equality program at PKBM Gempita, Padang City. Researchers suspect that one of the contributing factors is the unfavorable peer environment. This research aims to:  (1) To describe the peer environment, (2). To describe the motivation to learn, (3). Seeing the relationship between the peer environment and the motivation of residents to learn the package A equality program at PKBM Gempita, Padang City. This research is a type of correlation research using a quantitative approach. The population of this study were residents studying the package A equality program at PKBM Gempita, Padang City, totaling 25 people. And sampling with saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis techniques using percentage formulas and product moment correlations. The results of the study showed that the peer environment of residents learning the package A equality program at PKBM Gempita Padang City was still not good. Learning motivation owned by learning citizens is still low. And there is a significant relationship between the peer environment and the learning motivation of residents studying the Package A equality program at PKBM Gempita, Padang City. It is suggested to managers or educators at PKBM Gempita, Padang City, to be able to pay attention to the social interactions of package A learning residents in a peer environment in order to increase high learning motivation to achieve goals in learning. Abstract

The empowered elderly is the elderly who live in a civil community condition, namely a condition of the elderly who believe in their ability to create a better life and are aware of their rights and obligations in social life. The condition of empowering the elderly will be realized if the elderly get an education to be more empowered. The research objective was to determine the concept of lifelong education for the empowerment of the elderly in the community. This research was a literature review to find a lifelong learning model for lifelong education for the elderly's empowerment. By reviewing various literature or books and research reports from various journals, information was obtained about implementing lifelong education to empower the elderly in Indonesia. The research results indicated that lifelong education was not limited to adult education and the like but included and formed a unity in all education stages as a totality. Indeed, lifelong education is carried out by every human being born into this world. Lifelong education is a continuous effort of every individual to equip himself through education (increasing knowledge). Learning strategies in lifelong education for the empowerment of the elderly include the use of approaches, methods, techniques, demonstration forms, qualified learning resources, and students' management to realize educational interactions between educators and students, between students and between students, environment, and evaluation of the process. Abstract

The background of this research is the low participation of parents regarding the school parenting program at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak. This is due to the low perception of parents regarding the school parenting program. This research aims to: 1) Describe parents' perceptions of the school parenting program at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak. 2) Describe the participation of parents in the school parenting program at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak. 3) Seeing the relationship between parents' perceptions of the school parenting program and their participation in Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak Kindergarten.This research was conducted with a quantitative approach to the correlational type. The population in this study were 35 people who were parents at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak, then the samples were taken using a stratified random sampling technique of 24 parents. The method of collecting data used a questionnaire with a list of statements format as a data collection tool, then the data was analyzed using a statistical percentage formula then to look for correlation using the Spearman Rho Formula.This study shows the results that: 1) An overview of parents' perceptions of the school parenting program at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak. 2) Description of participating in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak. 3) The relationship between parents' perceptions of the school parenting program and their participation in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak. Research suggestions are: 1) It is hoped that parents can participate actively in every activity that will be or is carried out at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak. 2) It is hoped that teachers can always invite parents to carry out school parenting program activities that can achieve success in learning for students at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal Koto Taratak.Keywords: Perception, Parenting, Participation

Abstract

The background of this research is that community participation in the implementation of education has not run optimally in the village of Marunggi, Kota Pariaman. There is still a lot of non-formal education that has not been implemented and faces many problems. This research is a quantitative type of correlational research. community participation in education is very low, but community participation in education is very important because anything that is produced without involving the community in the whole process will result in a lack of a sense of belonging and responsibility for them to participate in implementing and maintaining the continuity of education. The population in this study were 113 people and the sample in this study were 53 people enrolled in non-formal education programs using the Cluster Random Sampling sampling technique, which is group randomization. The analysis of this research is Pearson product moment correlation. There is a significant relationship between government support for community participation in the implementation of non-formal education in the village of Marunggi Kota Pariaman.Keywords: Village Government Support, Community Participation, Non-formal Education

Abstract

This exploration was completed at the State Junior High School, Padang Utara District, for getting a data about educator's exhibitions. Abstract

This research was motivated by the success of the Dar El-Iman Tahsin and Tahfizh Quran Institute (LT2Q), this was allegedly due to the guidance from the leadership of the Dar El-Iman Tahsin and Tahfizh Quran Institute (LT2Q) in improving the competence of ustadz. This study aims to see an overview of leadership development in: (1) Improving Cognitive Ability; (2) Developing Affective Ability; (3) Improving Psychomotor Ability.This type of research is descriptive through a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all teachers of Dar El Iman Padang Tahsin and Tahfizh Institute (LT2Q), totaling 37 people. 73% or 27 people were taken as a sample, using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Techniques for collecting data using questionnaires, through data collection tools in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use the percentage formula.The research results show that; (1) leadership development in improving the cognitive abilities of religious teachers is categorized as good, (2) leadership development in developing the affective abilities of religious teachers is categorized as good, and (3) leadership development in improving the psychomotor abilities of religious teachers is categorized as very good.Keywords: coaching; Competence of Ustaz and Ustazah

Abstract

Learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA), which is increasingly in demand, must of course maintain the achievement of learning objectives. However, in reality, the material learned in class is different from the conditions of the environment. Therefore, this study aims to analyze maritime-based teaching materials in Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers. This study uses a qualitative approach with interview data collection techniques, questionnaire, and document analysis. The research subjects are BIPA documents, BIPA teachers and students in the Riau Islands. Based on the results of the analysis of Indonesian language skills, BIPA students in the Riau Archipelago find it very difficult to master special vocabulary related to maritime which is 45.5%. While the results of document analysis on competency standards for BIPA graduates and the Sahabatku Indonesia textbook published by the Language and Book Development Agency show that the material presented in BIPA learning is only general in nature. As for the maritime-charged material from level 1 to level 7, only 2,2%. Meanwhile, teachers and students said that they only gave direct practice to the field of maritime affairs. The needs of BIPA students for maritime teaching materials also reach a very large percentage of the data resulting from the questionnaire, which is 100%.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Maritime, BIPA

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low gross motoric skills of children, this is presumably due to the lack of children's gross motor movement exercises that are carried out at home. This study aims to see a description of the gross motor development of children aged 6 to 8 years after participating in taekwondo training at Dojang Balai Gadang, Balai Gadang Village, Koto Tangah District, Padang City. The type of research approach is quantitative with descriptive method. The population of the study was children aged 6 to 8 years training in taekwondo at Dojang Balai Gadang, Balai Gadang Village, Koto Tangah District, Padang City as many as 50 people. The sample of this study was taken as many as 15 children aged 6 to 8 years who took part in taekwondo training at Dojang Balai Gadang, Balai Gadang Village, Koto Tangah District, Padang City with purposive techniques. The technique of collecting data is purposive sampling using observation. The instrument used is an observation sheet. Gross motor skills which include indicators of agility, strength, endurance and speed. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis in the form of percentages. From the results of data management, it can be concluded that there was an increase in coordination, agility, endurance and gross motor strength of children at the seventh meeting from undeveloped to very well developed. Factors that influence children's gross motor development are age, gender, parental support, nutrition and training. It is recommended to parents, to be able to improve children's gross motor skills.
