Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of still maintaining the implementation of religious culture, one of which is called the Mauluik Korong Toboh Tangah tradition, Padang Pariaman Regency. This is thought to be due to the role of the younger generation in order to preserve Mauluik culture in aspects of developing, maintaining, and adjusting so that the mauluik culture still survives. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were young people aged 16-30 years and domiciled in Korong Toboh Tangah, Padang Pariaman Regency with a total of 40 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, which took 75% of the population to 30 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. While the data collection tool is a list of statements. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. The results showed that the role of the younger generation in the preservation of Mauluik culture in Korong Toboh Tangah, Padang Pariaman Regency, aspects of developing are good, maintaining good, and adjusting are also good. This is proven by the majority of youth giving answers always. Based on the results of the study it is recommended to youth to be able to increase motivation to be more active in instilling cultural values that exist.Keywords: Young Generation, Preservation, Mauluik

Abstract

This research is guided by the high interest of citizens in terms of attending dikia learning activity. This point is proven by the high extent of citizen's presence to study in every meeting. Furthermore, the residents also study a responsive toward the delivered theory by the tutor so as it generates a few questions in terms of the theory. This research intends to see the implementation of dikia learning activity as an adult activity on Jorong Bangko South Solok. An example method of this is stratified random sampling. The data collection technique utilizes a percentage formula. The result of the research shows that (1) the goal of implementation of dikia learning can be achieved effectively, (2) sources of learning on the performance of dikia learning activity have been fulfilled appropriately, (3) learning method on the implementation of dikia learning activity is conducted properly, (4) tool of learning on the implementation of dikia learning activity is suitable with theory’s dikia art, (5) assessment of learning on the implementation of dikia learning has been conducted properly.Keywords: Learning Dikia, Adult Education

Abstract

This research is motivated by the success of the 3 in 1 education and training program for making pinhead embroideries carried out by the Padang Industrial Training Center. This is allegedly due to the learning climate that occurred in the implementation of the program. This study aims to determine the description of the learning climate in the 3 in 1 training program for making pinhead embroideries held in Padang Biri-Birik, North Pariaman. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population of this study was all of the 3 in 1 training participants making pinhead embroideries carried out by the Padang Industrial Training Center in 2019 totaling 70 training participants. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a tool in the form of a statement list, while data analysis techniques use the percentage calculation. The results of the study show that the learning climate in the 3 in 1 Education and Training program for making pinhead stitches is seen from 1) the aspect of the physical environment is quite good. This was also illustrated by the participants' responses which became a sample dominated by always and frequently answered answers (93.35%), 2) in the aspect of the social environment also looked quite good. This is illustrated from the training participants' answers which became the most sampled answers that always and often reached (92.5%). The suggestion put forward in this research is to the management of the Central Indonesian Education and Training Center who carry out the 3 in 1 education and training program to make the pinhead embroidery so as to always maintain the learning climate for other upcoming training activities.Keywords: Learning Climate, Success

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high achievement achieved by the participants of the martial arts training at Talago Biru Indonesian Pencak Silat College Agam Regency Branch in every championship event or festival that he participated in. This can be seen from the achievements of the Pencak silat training participants who competed both at the city, provincial and national levels. Researchers suspect that the cause of the high achievement achieved by the participants of the martial arts training at Talago Biru Indonesian Pencak Silat College Agam Regency Branch was due to the use of effective and efficient learning methods from the trainer. This study aims to describe the process of using instructional methods by trainers in the training activities of Pencak Silat in Talago Biru Indonesian Pencak Silat Education Agam District Branch which is generally seen from several aspects, namely: 1) training objectives, 2) training materials, 3) the ability of trainers and 4) resources and facilities available. The approach used in this study uses quantitative descriptive techniques. The population was 69 people and samples were taken by 52 Pencak silat training participants using a sampling technique that is stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed to all research samples. The data analysis technique used is the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that based on aspects in the use of learning methods in martial arts training as a whole looks very good. This is evidenced by the large number of Pencak silat training participants who provide alternative answers and responses "agree" and "strongly agree" on each of these aspects. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the trainer can maintain the use of learning methods in every training conducted.Keywords: Learning Methods, Training, Pencak Silat

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high learning outcomes obtained by citizens learning in the craft skills training program at PKBM Diknaker. Researchers suspect that the high learning outcomes obtained by learning citizens, are influenced by the high discipline owned by citizens learning handicraft skills in PKBM Diknaker. This can be seen from the discipline of citizens learning mental attitudes, understandings and behavioral attitudes. This study aims to illustrate the discipline of citizens learning in the craft skills training program at PKBM Diknaker. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study totaling 20 people. The sampling technique used was a census, all populations were sampled 20 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. From the results of the study it was found that: the discipline of learning citizens towards mental attitude was categorized as good, understanding was categorized as good, behavior was categorized as good. Based on this research it’s recommended that the manager to maintaning and improve the dicipline and motivate resident for develop the skills of residents.Keywords: Discipline, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high interest of students in scouting extracurricular activities at SMP 10 Padang. It is suspected that one of the factors is caused by the good implementation of scout extracurricular activities conducted by the coach. This study aims to provide information on: 1) learning planning, 2) implementation of learning, 3) evaluation of learning for scouting extracurricular programs at level 10 at SMPN Padang. This research uses quantitative approach, type of descriptive research. The study population consisted of 60 students taking part in the Boy Scout extracurricular activities. Samples taken in this study were 50%. The number of samples is 30 people. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire, with data collection tools in the form of a list of statements. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. From the results of the study it was found that (1) Scout extracurricular program learning planning is very good, (2) Scout extracurricular program learning is very good, (3) evaluation of scout extracurricular learning programs is very good. The conclusion of this research is that learning scout extracurricular programs in SMP Negeri 10 Padang is very good. Suggestions to the organizers of the Boy Scout extracurricular program can maintain and improve the implementation of the program to be even better.Keywords: Implementation of Learning, Scout Extracurricular Activities

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student achievement in the KSR PMI organization at UNP, this is alleged because it has to do with student activities in the KSR PMI organization at UNP. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) student activities in the KSR PMI organization at UNP, (2) student achievement in the KSR  PMI organization at UNP, and (3) the relationship between student activities in the KSR PMI organization and learning achievement at UNP. This study is a correlational study with a population of KSR PMI members at UNP totaling 195 people. The sampling technique used in this study uses a stratified sampling technique. The population that will be sampled in this study is 30% of the population of 195 people, namely 58 members. Instrument and its development by preparing a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using the percentage frequency and product moment. The results of the study stated that: (1) student activities in the KSR PMI organization at UNP is categorized good, (2) student achievement in the KSR PMI organization at UNP is categorized as poor, (3) there was a significant relationship between student activities in KSR PMI organization with learning achievements at UNP. Based on the results of the study it is recommended that students be able to balance activities both within the organization and in lectures and be able to maintain and improve their learning achievement at the KSR PMI UNP unit.Keywords: Activities, Learning Achievement

Abstract

This research is motivated by the success of Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Padang as a place that creates competent workforce through the implementation of On Job Training. The purpose of this study is to see an implementation of On job Training in Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Padang. Thisresearch is quantitative descriptive reseaech. The population of this studyare 16 participants and the writer use census method to get the data. Thetools that being use in this research is a questionnaire sheets contains a list of statements.The data is analyze by using percentage formulas. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of On Job Training in terms of the stages of preparation, work practices, monitoring and evaluation are running well. The writer suggestions to this research are expected that participants can be involved in On Job Training preparation to support their implementation at working practices and also expected to provide assistance to participants in order to improve their competence in a real work and also it is hoped participants and organizers will do an evaluation to achieve On Job Training goals.Keywords: Training, Balai Latihan Kerja, On Job Training

Abstract

This research is motivated by success Karang Taruna Batuang Sarumpun in carrying out training activities. This can be seen from the high interest of learning citizens to attend training activities, the availability of adequate learning places, varied learning methods. The purpose of this study is to describe the activities of implementing the experimental method the activities of knitting skills training in Karang Taruna Batuang Sarumpun based on preparatory activities, implementation activities, and closing activities. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. Population in this study all participants who participated in knitting training activities in Karang Taruna Batuang Sarumpun of 20 people. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling, where the sample was taken as much as 90% of the total population of 18 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that is based on a Likert scale. While data analysis uses the percentage formula. The results of the study found that (1) the implementation of preparatory activities in the practice of knitting skills training is included in both categories; (2) implementation activities in the practice of knitting skills training are included in both categories; (3) implementation of closing activities on the practice of knitting skills included in both categories. Suggestions from this research are expected to the institution KarangTaruna Batuang Sarumpun to always try to improve facilities both physically and non- physically as an effort to improve and develop the quality of the institution for the future.Keywords: Learning Methods, Karang Taruna, Knitting Training, Experimental Method

Abstract

The training in developing information and communication technology-based teaching materials for elementary school teachers in Padang Pariaman Regency is based on an analysis of the needs of teachers regarding the development of information and communication technology-based teaching materials and the level of teacher mastery over the development of teaching materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of training needs for the development of information technology-based teaching materials. This type of research is quantitative using a questionnaire. The method used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study were 350 classroom teachers in Padang Pariaman Regency. Samples were taken as many as 30 people randomly. The research instrument was a questionnaire that was processed using a percentage technique. The results showed that the level of importance of the development of teaching materials was classified as high at 66%. Furthermore, 80% of teachers stated that they really need teaching material development materials, 35% really needed to have the ability to select material sources and as many as 28% of teachers really needed the ability to make teaching materials. Based on the results of the study it can be suggested 1) teachers are given the opportunity to develop teaching materials, 2) the school needs to provide training in the development of teaching materials for teachers. must be factual and concise.Keywords: Needs Analysis, Training, Teaching Materials, Based on Information Technology
