Abstract

The quality of the seawater content for the grouper fish habitat is very influential in the grouper fish development process. Seawater quality for grouper fish habitat depend on temperatur, salinity, acidity (pH), and turbidity of seawater. The quality of seawater can be control by circulation in and out of seawater in the fish pond. This cycle is required to maintain the desired quality of seawater at temperatur 24ºC- 31ºC, salinity 30-33 ppt, dissolved oxygen> 3,5 ppt, and pH 7,5-8,3. In previous studies seawater control systems have been carried out in the form of controls temperatur and pH quality. Other components quality of sea water such as salinity and turbidity due to fish food also influence seawater quality for grouper fish habitat. Component control of sea water in this paper include microcontroller, pump sea water, fresh water pump, sensor and etc.  In this paper we are focus on the controlling sea water quality to maintain the quality of grouper fish pools consisting of temperatur, salinity, acidity (pH), and turbidity of seawater. Input this data and the pH of the water read by the sensor will be processed with fuzzy logic to adjust the working of the salt water pump and the freshwater pump until it reaches the setpoint value. Turbidity and temperatur control using the ON-OFF system. The results show that of testing the sea water quality of control system using fuzzy logic in accordance with the calculation of mathematical defuzzyfication with an error of 0%. The values of salinity control system 31,14-32,98 PPT, pH 7,78-8,.2, temperatur 27ºC-29,98ºC, and turbidity level 9,90-14,85 NTU.

Abstract

Untuk menjaga stabilitas penyaluran tenaga listrik di dalam Sistem Tenaga Listrik-nya, PT. Pulp and Paper menggunakan Sistem Distribusi Lup pada substation utamanya. Hal ini menyebabkan arus hubung singkat yang mungkin terjadi dapat melebihi kapasitas arus puncak Pemutus Tenaga (PMT).Oleh karena itu, PT. Pulp and Paper menggunakan Reaktor Pembatas Arus untuk membatasi arus gangguan tersebut. Perhitungan arus hubung singkat dilakukan pada bus substation utama. Dengan menjaga arus hubung singkat yang terjadi pada substation utama dalam batas aman, maka arus hubung singkat yang mungkin terjadi pada bus beban tidak akan melebihi kapasitas PMT.Dari hasil perhitungan arus hubung singkat tiga fasa standar IEC 60909 dengan bantuan software ETAP 11, diketahui bahwa arus puncak hubung singkat 3 fasa pada substation AC 4, AC 11, dan AC 15 masih melebihi kapasitas arus puncak PMT. Dengan tambahan Reakor Pembatas Arus pada keluaran trafo TC 40, TC 11, dan TC 15 dengan ukuran reaktansi masing-masing 0.37779 ohm, 0.13203 ohm, dan 0.21701 ohm, maka arus puncak hubung singkat tiga fasa pada substation AC 4 turun dari 73.014 kA menjadi 62.734 kA, pada substation AC 11 turun dari 67.407 kA menjadi 62.421 kA, dan pada substation AC 15 turun dari 70.930 kA menjadi 62.731 kA. Dimana tegangan terendah pada bus beban adalah 19263 Volt

Abstract

Sistem LTE dan EGSM dalam Alokasi frekuensi di Indonesia berada pada spektrum frekuensi yang berdekatan. Hal ini berpotensi menyebabkan terjadinya gangguan interferensi antara kedua sistem. Penelitian ini berfokus pada meminimalisasi interferensi antara downlink LTE(base station LTE sebagai interferer) terhadap uplink EGSM (base station EGSM sebagai korban interferensi) menggunakan teknik pemisahan kanal. Interferensi ini berpotensi menurunkan kualitas penerimaan sinyal pada base station EGSM. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa untuk mengetahui potensi adanya interferensi antara sistem LTE dan EGSM pada pita frekuensi 800 MHz dengan melakukan simulasi menggunakan software SEAMCAT. Hasil yang diperoleh untuk menghilangkan interferensi yang terjadi pada sistem LTE dan EGSM adalah dengan penambahan guard band, dengan jarak terbaik didapatkan pada jarak 4 km dengan tingkat C / I  ≥12 dB pada zona lingkungan URBAN dan jarak 5 km pada lingkungan zona SUB URBAN

Abstract

In industry, in controlling heat exchanger temperature, there exist some disturbances that potentially affect the performance of the heat exchanger. One of them is the change of outside temperature. This study proposes cascade control techniques with fuzzy-PID and PI methods, respectively as primary and secondary controllers to overcome the disturbance and to result more stable performance of the system. Verification on the cascade fuzzy-PID control technique showed performance of the system was improved in term of rise time (tr), overshoot (mp), and settling time (ts). Cascade control technique played a role in handling the changes of system parameters, while the combination of fuzzy-PID overcame the interference. The combination of feedback control and cascade control techniques with fuzzy-PID method can make the performance of the system more stable and overcome the interference.

Abstract

Washing machine technology has been developed well in the last ten years, it’s vary from the simple technology until utilizing of artificial  intelligent to improve washing quality and controlling motor to obtain energy efficiency. However the issues of eco-friendly power supply has been not covered by the recent development of technology. The design prototyping of the Mini Washing Machine with the Solar Power is proposed to answer these issues.  This design have specific features such as 0.5 gallon sized of washing capacity, DC voltage based power supply and able to perform the standard operational of washing machine. It is composed by 0.5 gallon sized of bucket, DC motor with 700rpm of maximum speed, washing blade, LI-ion battery and solar panel for LI-ion battery charging power supply. The special connection between dc motor and washing blade are done through combination of axle shaft and different size of double pulleys. Minimum loss of power is achieved by using this connection. The testing result shows the design is successfully operated in 2 modes of motor speed i.e. low speed for light of cloths and high speed for heavy cloths

Abstract

Pada paper ini menjelaskan karakteristik motor BLDC UAV dari model. Simulasi dibuat mewakili model dari motor BLDC UAV yang kemudian digunakan untuk melihat karakteristik dari motor. Identifikasi hasil model motor BLDC UAV digunakan untuk membandingkan dengan model hasil karakteristik motor BLDC UAV. Hasil data pengamatan menunjukkan khususnya untuk model arus armature masih cukup besar terdapat perbedaan cukup besar dibandingkan model kecepatan rotor. Diperlukan identifikasi dengan metode yang berbeda agar dihasilkan model yang lebih tepat.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has experienced rapid development, so as to encourage people to try to overcome all the problems that arise around them and ease the work that is around the environment. One of the technologies developed at the moment is the Arduino microcontroller. Design of Automatic Clothesline Using Water Sensor and Light Sensor, Based on Arduino Microcontroller. Based on the problems that are often experienced by boarding children or families when leaving clothesline at home. Rain or bad weather until now has become a major problem for people who have clothesline, so clothes that are already dry become wet with rain water when the occupants of the house are outside the house. To overcome these problems, the authors designed an automatic clothesline using water sensors and light sensors based on Arduino microcontrollers. The author uses the Atmega16 microcontroller as the automatic clothesline roof control center. The sensors needed in the automatic clothesline controller are light sensors and water sensors. For light sensors used LDR (Light Diode Resistors) and electrode sensors as rainwater sensors. LDR is a type of resistor whose resistance value is influenced by light. Electrode sensor is a sensor that utilizes the conductance properties of a material. The servo motor of the prototype system can move shut and clothesline from an angle of 0 to an angle of 90 when the water sensor and light sensor detect changes in the weather around the environment and the tool design system is in accordance with the design that has been made.

Abstract

Currently various outdoor activities are carried out by the community. These activities are sometimes carried out for several days. To support these activities, emergency power sources are needed to recharge the batteries for lighting, communication equipment and other electronic equipment. Emergency power sources used by many people are powerbank with a limited capacity. If the outdoor activities are carried out for several days, the powerbank will not be sufficient to meet the needs. Therefore, a small scale power plant is needed by utilizing the existing natural resources such as water flow or wind. This research aims to design and to make a prototype of a nanohydro power plant that can be used to meet electrical energy needs during outdoor activities. The research begins with designing a nanohydro power plant system includes a water turbine, mini generator, and battery charger. After that, the generator prototype was made. The prototype was tested in the laboratory and on the river. Tests are carried out in no-load and loaded conditions. In each test, a voltage measurement is carried out on the generating system. The laboratory test results show that the mini generator can generate voltage from 0.57 - 6.40 V when rotated at speeds of 150 - 3000 rpm. When tested in a river with water velocity varying from 0.25 to 0.45 m/s, the generator can generate a voltage of 1.9 - 3.1 V.

Abstract

Otomatisasi pemberi pakan ikan lele berbasis arduino ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangun alat pemberi makan ikan lele secara otomatis berdasarkan jadwal makan dan berat ikan berbasis arduino uno.Alat Pemberi pakan ini menggunakan RTC untuk pengatur waktu dan pengatur jadwal pakan ikan dilengkapi juga dengan motor DC sebagai penebar pakan. Tegangan operasional alat yang digunakan rangkaian kontrol membutuhkan tegangan 5V dan 12V. Berat pakan yang dikeluarkan berdasarkan berat ikan lele dan banyaknya jumlah ikan. Jumlah anakan ikan lele dalam penelitian ini dibuat bervariasi, yaitu 750 ekor, 1500 ekor dan 3000 ekor dengan panjang anakan 7 sampai 8 cm per ekor. Jadwal pemberi pakan yang telah dijadwalkan yaitu pada pukul 09.00 WIB untuk pagi, pukul 16.00 WIB untuk pemberian pakan siang dan 21.00 WIB untuk pemberian pakan malam.Dari hasil pengujian, alat dapat bekerja dengan baik sesuai jadwal yang ditentukan dengan berat pakan yang keluar 150 gr selama 5,04 detik untuk anakan sebanyak 750 ekor, 300 gr selama 8,36 detik untuk anakan sebanyak 1500 ekor dan 600 gr untuk anakan sebanyak 3000 ekor.
