<![CDATA[Juvenile delinquency can include a variety of behaviors, such as vandalism, theft, substance abuse, gang involvement, absenteeism, or violent behavior. Many factors contribute to juvenile delinquency, including socioeconomic status, family dynamics, peer influences, educational issues, and exposure to violence or crime in society. Personal factors such as psychological, emotional, or behavioral problems may also play a role. This study focuses on the main issue, which is the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers to prevent associations that exclude teenagers at Medan National Heroic Middle School. This study aims to achieve two goals: (1) explore the efforts of teachers in Islamic religious education to prevent students from committing crimes in school, and (2) identify factors that aid or hinder teachers' efforts to remediate students' delinquency. The implications of this study indicate that the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers at Medan National Heroic Middle School have been ineffective in redressing student delinquency. Therefore, it is suggested that these teachers strengthen their tutoring work so that they fulfill their responsibilities in moral training for students. Based on the information provided, it appears that this study is aimed at addressing the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in addressing student delinquency and implementing necessary remedial strategies needed to deal with this problem effectively.]]>

<![CDATA[Education is an effort made by someone so that there is a change towards the better. In Indonesia, education is more defined as a formal institution that has the aim of developing the academic potential of students in order to realize educational goals. One of the Islamic education figures is Al-Ghazali. Al-Ghazali is one of the Islamic education figures who contributed thoughts to education. Al-Ghazali since his childhood was known as a child lover of knowledge and enthusiast in search of the ultimate truth, even though he was hit by grief, hit by various forms of grief and misery. Al-Ghazali's view of education is the process of humanizing humans. While the purpose of education according to him consists of long-term and short-term goals. As an educator must be capable, not only as a teacher but also teach character education and the importance of character education for students is to become competent and noble students. Islamic religious education is one of the breakthroughs as an effort to support student character education so that the morals of all students become more noble. Morals is an attitude that is rooted in the soul from which various actions are born easily and easily, without the need for thought and consideration. If this attitude is born from good and praiseworthy actions, both in terms of reason and Shara', then it is called good morals. And if what is born from it is a despicable act, then the attitude is called bad morals. The success of an educator is to be an example and make students or learners have noble morals.]]>

<![CDATA[This qualitative research investigates the integral role of religious culture in instilling good manners, often referred to as adab, within the student body of SMK YPM 8 SIDOARJO. The study delves into the symbiotic relationship between educational institutions and religious culture, particularly focusing on how these synergies contribute to shaping students' characters. At SMK YPM 8 SIDOARJO, religious culture is deeply ingrained, encompassing a set of core values denoted as the 5S - smiles, greetings, politeness, and courtesy. Additionally, practices such as memorization, communal prayers, and the daily Dhuhr prayer are fundamental components of this cultural milieu. Through habitualization and the modeling of exemplary behaviors, the religious culture within the school significantly influences the development of adab among students. This influence extends beyond the superficialities of politeness and extends to fundamental values such as discipline, kindness, religiosity, tolerance, and responsibility. The integration of these values into the school's cultural fabric creates a nurturing environment conducive to character formation. The research underscores the critical role played by religious culture in shaping students' characters within the educational context and offers substantial insights for other institutions seeking to enhance their cultural influence on students' moral and behavioral development. By demonstrating the effectiveness of embedding religious values into the educational environment, this study provides valuable guidance for educators and administrators aiming to leverage cultural aspects to foster a well-rounded growth in students, both morally and behaviorally. The findings shed light on the transformative potential of religious culture in molding the future citizens of society, promoting a harmonious and virtuous community.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the effectiveness of cooperative strategies in overcoming Quran reading difficulties for students. The problem-solving method was used as the main approach in this study, with the aim of improving Quran reading skills. The research was conducted through group learning involving all students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. This research is a field research that uses a phenomenological approach with qualitative methods. The research location is on Jl. R.M. Said No.35 Ketelan, Banjarsai District, Surakarta City, Central Java. The data collection techniques used were participant observation, interviews and documentation, where students and teachers of Baca Tulis Alqur'an became the research subjects. The results showed that the application of cooperative strategies was able to overcome the difficulty of reading the Quran for students. In the context of group learning, students can collaborate with each other in solving problems that arise when reading the Quran. This process helps improve students' understanding of Quranic reading and also motivates them to be more active in participating in learning. The findings of this study have important implications for Quran education in schools. Cooperative strategies can be used as an effective alternative in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Quran. This study also highlights the importance of cooperation and collaboration in learning the Qur'an as well as its contribution to the learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[Schools are used as a place to improve one's achievements and develop the quality of life when facing the future. To carry out its activities, the school must have student management, curriculum management, and so on, so that the school can improve its quality. This journal discusses student management efforts in shaping Islamic character at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta which has the aim to (1) Describe student management planning in shaping the Islamic character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. (2) Describe the implementation of student management in shaping the Islamic character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. The type of research conducted. The type of data analysis used is field data analysis. In collecting data, interviews, observation, and documentation methods were used. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis which is used to translate a situation from general to specific. The results of research findings at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta, and the efforts made at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta start from the planning process, acceptance to the learning process in which there is planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The character-building process at Muhammadiyah 5 Karanganyar Junior High School includes the 5S Program (Smile, Greeting, Greeting, Polite and Courteous), Habituation of Dhuha Prayers, Morning Tadarus, Dzuhur Prayers in Congregation.]]>

<![CDATA[Education is a stage in developing, growing and maturing a personality which is related to increasing quality human resources. Education plays a very important role in improving human life so that they live a much better quality life and are active in socializing in society. Character Education is an educational system that has the aim of cultivating individual character in students. Lately there has been a lot of news regarding bad phenomena out there that can affect the lives of students in a very deviant way. The role of guidance and counseling teachers, who are often called school counselors, has an important role in shaping the character of students both inside and outside school. Therefore, students can build character which can be done by executing learning programs to improve students' character cannot be successful if they do not contribute to related parties, especially in the field of education. Therefore, counseling guidance participates in this contribution. In this case the author tries to explain the task of counselors to shape student character, learning about student character education in counseling guidance services and the task of counselors to shape student character. This research uses qualitative methods to describe the results of this research discussion.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in improving students' manners at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. What will be revealed in this study is the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers to improve student morals. In addition, it aims to find out the inhibiting factors or challenges experienced by teachers in improving student morals. According to the type, this research is qualitative research. This research is located at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta, with the research subject being the Islamic religious education teacher at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The methods used in data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The stages used in analyzing the data are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. With this method, it is expected to obtain concrete data and in accordance with the needs of research conducted at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The results showed that: (1) the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in improving student morals include: (a) increasing discipline (b) crafts (c) reducing gadgets, (d) adding insight into religion. (2) the inhibiting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in improving student morals at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta, namely especially from gadgets/cellphones have a strong influence. Actually, it is an appropriate and sophisticated communication tool, but young people now often misuse these gadgets. Then because of the differences in character because the characters of the students are different, maybe that is a very influential factor in this digital era. As for the factor of the lack of religious knowledge, it is very minimal so that the adab of the students is lost.]]>

<![CDATA[SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat is an Islamic school that guides its students to memorize the Qur'an. Memorizing the Qur'an is done to increase students' love and closeness to the Qur'an and to achieve the virtues of memorizing the Qur'an. To improve the memorization ability of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat, PAI teachers have various efforts including providing motivation to students to have enthusiasm and sincerity in memorizing the Qur'an, memorizing the Qur'an in class, repeating memorization or muroja'ah, collaborating with parents or guardians of students, flash pesantren, and conducting evaluations to determine whether or not there is an increase in students in memorizing the Qur'an. This research was conducted to find out and describe the PAI teacher's strategy in improving students' ability to memorize the Qur'an at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat. This research uses qualitative research methods, which seek information about existing symptoms, determine the objectives to be achieved clearly, plan procedures and collect data for reporting. Interviews were conducted with PAI teachers to obtain information about the ways to improve student memorization and the practices carried out. The results showed that PAI teachers have several strategies, namely by providing motivation to students, memorizing the Qur'an in class using several methods.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe the extent of PAI teacher creativity at SDN Sumbergedang II Pandaan, and also measure the learning interest of third-grade students at SDN Sumbergedang II Pandaan. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with field methods (field research). Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation at SDN Sumbergedang II Pandaan, interviews with informants, namely teachers and third-grade students, and accompanied by documentation during research in the field. The results of this study describe that: teacher creativity in presenting PAI material is shown through the use of varied learning methods such as Lecture, Question and Answer, Group Work, Discussion, Travel, Role Play, etc. As for the condition of students' interest in learning PAI subjects at SDN Sumbergedang II Pandaan, which is quite a good learning interest, but out of 24 students there are 16 students who can overcome it, there are about 5 students who still do not understand how to overcome difficulties, and there are also 3 students who cannot at all how to overcome difficulties in the subject of Islamic religious education. There is also from the teacher's success in increasing students' interest in learning, regarding the success of students' interest in learning in Islamic religious education subjects, it can be concluded that there are 10 students who are very interested in increasing knowledge in Islamic religious education subjects, then there are 9 students who are interested (standard) in increasing knowledge in Islamic religious education subjects, and there are 5 students who are very interested in increasing knowledge in Islamic religious education subjects.]]>

<![CDATA[Hizbul Wathan is a scouting movement founded by K.H Ahmad Dahlan as a forum for preparing and developing children, teenagers, and young people to have mental, faith, knowledge, technological, and morals to become true muslim and ready to become a cadre of the organization, people and nation. The purpose of this study is to know information about the extracurricular role of Hizbul Wathan (HW) in forming the character of religious nationalism in Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta Senior High School Students. The research is a type of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach method. Technique collection data uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted at the HW scouting extracurricular activity at Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta High School, which was the subject of this research the hizbul wathan coach, teacher, wakakurikulum, and also 5 students. The result of the research is;1) HW scout members do not yet have a complete of nationalism, 2) The extracurricular role of Hizbul Wathan in shaping the character of religious nationalism is through routine activities carried out by HW members, this character will slowly be formed, 3) The inhibiting factors for cultivating the character of religious nationalism through Hizbul Wathan extracurricular activities in Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta High School students come from internal and external factors.]]>
