Abstract

Perkembangan membaca siswa sangat dipengaruhi budaya literasi sekolah. sehingga perlu media pembelajaran yang menarik. Pada kasus di lapangan minat membaca siswa SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu Ponorogo masuk dalam kategori baik. Hal ini didorong dengan keberadaan buku bergambar menjadi pendorong minat baca siswa SDMT Ponorogo. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data peneliti didapatkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dengan pihak guru dan sumber sumber lainnya yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca dan pembentukan karakter siswa. GLS di SDMT sudah memenuhi kriteria prinsip Literasi Sekolah. Buku cerita bergambar merupakan media  yang berperan untuk menumbuhkan minat baca dan tulis siswa kelas bawah. Pengembangan gerakan literasi di SDMT ini tergolong kreatif dan visioner dalam mengembangkan minat baca siswa, sehingga perlu dikembangkan kembali untuk mendukung perkembangan kognitif siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of teacher communities in improving the performance and quality of teaching in pilot schools in North Kolaka Regency. Furthermore, this study also examines the strategies implemented by teacher communities and the impact of their involvement on improving the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving teachers, principals, and relevant stakeholders. The results indicate that optimization of teacher communities is carried out through continuous professional development programs, collaboration between teachers, and the use of technology in learning. The strategies implemented include regular training, group discussions, and peer mentoring to improve pedagogical competence and professionalism. The impact of teacher community involvement includes increased teaching motivation, innovation in learning strategies, and improved student learning outcomes. This study recommends strengthening school policies to support teacher communities and integrating collaborative practices to improve teaching effectiveness in pilot schools in North Kolaka Regency.

Abstract

Abstract: The research is a Classroom Action Research with qualitative research.  The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together assisted by animated video media can improve the quality of the learning process and the participation of students in class IV SD Negeri 018 Manding. The research subjects consisted of 1 teacher and 26 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 018 Manding. Data were colected through observation and documentation techniques. The research method is data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research in cycle 1 teacher activity was in the sufficient category (C) with a percentage of 75% and increased in cycle 2 to a good category (B) with a percentage of 91.66%. Student activity in cycle 1 was in the sufficient category (C) with a percentage of 69%, increasing in cycle 2 to a good category (B) with a percentage of 89%. Learner participation in cycle 1 reached sufficient qualification (C) with a percentage of 61%. In cycle 2, learner participation reached good qualification (B) with a percentage of 80%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the Numbered Head Together learning model is effective in improving the quality of the learning process and the participation of fourth grade students of SD Negeri018 Manding.
