Abstract

Completion fluid is a fluid used in conducting operational completion, where the fluid used must be based on consideration of the formation characteristics for a particular well. Fluid selection is very important if the formation damage will be minimized. good complexion fluids can reduce solid content, absence of clay, solulable acid, dissolve in water and are used for operations such as perforation, cleaning wells and well control. The nitrate salts used are CaNO3 and NaNO3 salts. Agarfluida complexes can function properly, so the fluid must always be controlled for its physical properties, which consist of fluid specific gravity, fluid rhology, filter rate, swell meter and pH. The use of compound fluid is adjusted to the conditions of the formation that is being perforated such as formation rock formation conditions, and fluid content contained in the formation. This study will examine the use of fluid complexes from heavy salts of nitrates as hole cleaning and their effect on the additives used. It was concluded that the use of saline-complex fluid heavy with NaNO3 nitrate and its combination with the use of CaCO 3 had the effectiveness to carry out hole cleaning activities with the results of Plastic Viscosity 23 cp, 24 lbs / 100 ft Yield Point, 4.2 ml / 30 'Filtrate, pH 7, 41, and Swellmeter 6%.

Abstract

A design of electrical vehicle chasis is presented, specifically a FEM simulation is employed to simulate the different kind of load and reaction on vehicle frame. The main goal in this research is to develop an electric car with torsion bar, where the frame will have a self-suspension system. The frame design will be made as original equipment. This research will focus on how an electric car chassis withstand certain load with a defined boundary condition, where the analysis is conducted using Finite element Method using ANSYS software. The main analysis is the Von-Misses Stress, the safety factor, bending, torsion shear stress and vibration.

Abstract

The problems revealed in this research is about Optimization parameters of CNC milling programing machine on the process time and its effect on the efficiency. The purpose of this research are to know the effect of feed rate, depth of cut, and maximum stepdown on processing time in CNC milling programming and searching for the best machining parameters that yield optimal processing time on CNC milling programming. The result can be in the simulation of machining distance or operation time, length of feed step or feed cut length, and length of step without feeding or fast traverse length. Experiment result data is used for see the influence, and contribution of each parameter to the machining process time, also the contribution of the optimized parameters for each process that makes the CNC milling machining process time, and cost will be more efficient.

Abstract

In the management of oil and gas fields, production forecasting is needed to find out the steps to be taken in the future. Therefore, in this study the prediction of the well potential was carried out using the water oil ratio method. The prediction of potential wells referred to in this study is to predict the estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) or cumulative value of oil production in the future. Well X has a well problem in the form of excess water production and after being analyzed using Chan’s Diagnostic Plot, the result is that the well has water channeling. The type of water channeling is in well X experiencing near wellbore channeling. After knowing the type of water problem, a prediction of the potential of the well (cumulative maximum production) is carried out, both wells have water channeling and wells that are normal or not experiencing problems. Prediction of well potential in the form of cumulative maximum production value or Estimated Ultimate Recovery (EUR) is obtained by the water oil ratio method. This method is using five plots including water cut, oil fraction, cumulative WOR, cumulative watercut, and finally 1 / fw which is compared with each with maximum cumulative production. Then after it was discovered that the EUR value of each well experienced both water and normal problems, it was found to lose the cumulative prediction of the production of each well. The loss of EUR well X is 551,267 STB.

Abstract

Determination of the initial oil content of a reservoir starts from exploration activities. In the initial stage, the determination of the initial oil reserves is determined. This aims to determine whether the project can be profitable for the company or not. Over time the determination of the initial contents of the oil continues to be carried out to improve the accuracy of calculations using the material balance method. In the reservoir "ADZ" the type of reservoir is an undersaturated reservoir. This is because the initial pressure in 1980 was 2762.74 psia, while the bubble point pressure was 1625.8 psia. Until 2015 this reservoir was still above the bubble point pressure with a pressure of 1783.55 psia, this reservoir also had no gas cap in the initial conditions. The drive mechanism that works on this field is the solution for the gas drive.Calculation of the initial content of oil in this final project uses 4 methods, namely volumetric method, material balance method, straight line, and Mbal software. Using the volumetric method, the initial oil reserves obtained at the place amounted to 174063462 STB, while the calculation of the initial oil reserves in place using the material balance method was 176497285 STB. The percentage difference in the initial content of oil between the methods is <5%.

Abstract

Cementing is the process of pushing a number of slurry which flows from the bottom of the casing shoes to rise to the annulus between the casing and formation. The cement slurry will harden so that it binds between the casing and the borehole wall. According to the purpose of cementing can be divided into two, namely Initial Cementing (Primary Cementing) and Second Cementing or Cementing Repair (Secondary or Remedial Cementing). If the Primary Cementing results are not perfect and have problems, then Secondary or Remedial Cementing will be done. Secondary or Remedial Cementing can be divided into three parts, namely Squeeze cementing, Re-cementing and Plug-back cementing. In this case, the author emphasizes on one of the Secondary or Remedial Cementing namely Squeeze Cementing.
