Abstract

Pedada is a plant has not been explore by many people. Pedada fruit can be found in Indonesian mangrove forest. The fresh fruit of Pedada can be eat and also made into processed drinks such as syrup. One technique that can be used to improve the properties of Pedada is gamma ray irradiation. This research aim to observe the growth of pedada plant resulting from gamma ray irradiation with doses of 0,20,40,60,80 and 100 Gray. This experiment used non-factorial randomized block design with 1 treatment is gamma ray irradiation. Each of dose gamma ray irradiation was repeated 3 times, and each replication consisted of 3 plants so there there were 54 plants. The results of this study showed that the highest death (30%) rate was doses of 20 and 30 Gray. For The height parameter, we can seen that control plantd is significally different from 20,40,60 and 100 gray irradiation. The number of leaves also we can seen control is sifnifically different with 40 gray irradiation. The stem diameter parameter also significantly different between control and 70 and 100 gray. Phenotypic cahaterized of Pedada also changes by irradiation gamma ray with doses 20,40,60 80 and 100 gray.

Abstract

Pakcoy vegetables (Brassica rapa L.) are very popular among the public. Problems found in pakcoy cultivation are the habit of using inorganic fertilizers continuously, as well as acidic organosol soil types. To improve soil fertility and overcome the low yield of pakcoy, it is necessary to rehabilitate the land by using environmentally friendly shallot skin LOF. The main objective of this investigation to acquire the best concentration and the reaction of pakcoy vegetation to the union of NPK fertilizer and shallot skin LOF. This investigation utilized a Randomized Group Design with a treatment union of P1 100% NPK, P2 50% NPK + 15ml shallot skin LOF, P3 50% NPK + 20ml shallot skin LOF, P4 50% NPK + 25ml shallot skin LOF. The observation parameters are the number of leaves, leaf width, leaf length, plant fresh weight, and root length. The results revealed that the combined intervention of NPK fertilizer and onion skin LOF had no significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves, leaf width, or root length. But this study had a significant effect on leaf length, and fresh weight of pakcoy plants. The optimal combination is 50% NPK combined with 20ml of shallot skin LOF. From the expected results of this study are, it is expected to be an option for farmers to reduce the use of NPK by using 20 ml of shallot skin LOF.

Abstract

Tempeh chips are snacks made by thinly slicing soybean tempeh and frying it. Tempeh chips are delicious and can be a popular snack in many places. Soybean tempeh itself is a typical Indonesian food made from soybean seeds fermented by the Rhizopus Oligosporus fungus or also called Rhizopus Oryzae.The research was conducted to determine the level of income earned by tempeh chips business entrepreneurs in Tugu District, Trenggalek Regency.In the method of determining the sample population of respondents in the research of tempeh chips business in Tugu sub-district amounted to 14 businesses, while to determine the respondents as a sample only took a sample of 8 businesses. Using primary data because sampling by conducting interviews with respondents directly. The results of this study indicate that the income earned by entrepreneurs of tempeh chips business in Tugu sub-district of Trenggalek district is Rp. 1,768,884. from the results of the analysis obtained from the calculation of R / C ratio of tempeh chips business in Tugu sub-district of Trenggalek district is 1.59. Based on the R / C ratio criteria, the tempeh chips business in the Tugu sub- district of Trenggalek district is feasible to develop. The feasibility of the tempeh chips business in the Tugu sub-district of Trenggalek district is influenced by the selling price of production because the tempeh chips business requires sufficient costs and the price of materials that use imported soybeans.

Abstract

Corn is a type of seasonal plant and is a plant that is often cultivated by farmers. Corn has many varieties, one of the varieties of corn planted by farmers in Parang Village is hybrid corn and crystal varieties. The difference in varieties causes fluctuating farmer income. This study aims to determine the difference in income and the difference in costs of hybrid and crystal corn farming in Parang Village, Banyakan District, Kediri Regency. This study took a sample of 60 respondents. The analysis used consisted of income analysis, feasibility analysis, Break Event Point (BEP) analysis, and t-test difference test. The results of the study showed that the income of hybrid corn farming was lower than that of crystal corn farming, which was IDR 8,741,888/ha, while the crystal variety was IDR 11,501,807/ha. The R/C ratio value of hybrid and crystal corn farming is 1.67 and 2.07, so the farming is feasible to be done because it is more than 1. The BEP of hybrid and crystal corn farming units is 2,704 kg/ha and 1,533 kg/ha. The rupiah BEP of hybrid and crystal corn farming is Rp2,868/kg and Rp3,379/kg. The results of the t-test difference test produced a t-count value of 1.848<1.980 and a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.067<0.1, which means that there is a significant difference in costs between hybrid and crystal corn farming.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan dengan potensi kelautan yang sangat besar, termasuk sektor perikanan yang menjadi sumber penghidupan utama bagi sebagian besar masyarakat pesisir. Provinsi Gorontalo, khususnya Kabupaten Boalemo, memiliki kekayaan sumber daya laut yang mendukung kegiatan perikanan masyarakat, termasuk di Desa Bajo yang mayoritas penduduknya merupakan Suku Bajo. Suku ini dikenal memiliki keterikatan kuat dengan laut dan secara turun-temurun menggantungkan hidup dari hasil tangkapan ikan. Namun, tantangan seperti cuaca ekstrem dan larangan penggunaan alat tangkap merusak berdampak pada ketidakstabilan pendapatan nelayan, yang dapat memengaruhi keberlanjutan hidup mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan Suku Bajo di Desa Bajo Kecamatan Tilamuta, memahami persepsi mereka terhadap penghidupan berkelanjutan, serta mengkaji pengaruh pendapatan rumah tangga terhadap keberlanjutan penghidupan mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran kondisi ekonomi rumah tangga nelayan Suku Bajo dan menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah serta pihak terkait dalam merumuskan strategi pemberdayaan yang mendukung penghidupan berkelanjutan masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

Melon (Cucumis melo L.) merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang termasuk dalam famili Cucurbitaceae. Pengembangan melon memiliki prospek yang baik dan cerah. Salah satu metode untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman dan kualitas buah melon adalah dengan menerapkan teknik budidaya yang tepat, termasuk dosis dan frekuensi pemupukan KCl yang tepat. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi antara dosis dan frekuensi pemupukan KCl pada tanaman Melon (Cucumis melo L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2023- Januari 2024 di Desa Sumberarum, Jaken, Pati. Dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dua faktor dan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah frekuensi pemberian pupuk kalium (F) F1=1 kali pemberian, F2=2 kali pemberian, dan faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kalium (D). D1=60 kg/ha (27 g/petak), D2=120 kg/ha (54 g/petak), D3=180 kg/ha (81 g/petak), D4=240 kg/ha (108 g/petak). Parameter pengamatan yaitu: Tinggi tanaman (cm), Jumlah daun (helai), Waktu berbunga (Hst), Bobot Buah perpetak (g), Diameter Buah (cm), Ketebalan daging buah (cm) dan Tingkat Kemanisan (% Brix). Hasil penelitian ini adalah pemberian dosis KCl 240 kg/ha (108 g/petak) dengan frekuensi 2 kali berpengaruh nyata dan terdapat interaksi pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, waktu berbunga, diameter buah, bobot buah perpetak, ketebalan daging buah, dan tingkat kemanisan buah

Abstract

Kyuri (Cucumis sativus L.) merupakan varietas mentimun yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi dan memiliki potensi ekspor, namun produksinya di Indonesia mengalami penurunan akibat mutu buah rendah dan hasil panen yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh biomatriconditioning dan defoliasi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Kyuri, serta interaksinya. Biomatriconditioning merupakan perlakuan fisiologis benih menggunakan agens hayati seperti Beauveria sp., Trichoderma sp., dan Mikoriza sp., yang bertujuan meningkatkan vigor benih dan efisiensi serapan hara. Defoliasi dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengarahkan distribusi fotosintat ke organ generatif dengan memangkas daun bagian bawah. Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial digunakan dalam metode penelitian ini dengan dua faktor, yaitu tiga jenis biomatriconditioning dan tiga taraf defoliasi, menghasilkan 9 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa perlakuan kombinasi biomatriconditioning Trichoderma sp. dan defoliasi delapan daun bawah (B1M2) memberikan pengaruh terbaik tinggi tanaman (162,13 cm), jumlah daun (22,44 helai), diameter batang (11,37 mm), jumlah buah (8,67 buah/tanaman), bobot buah (904,50 gram/tanaman), dan panjang buah (28,14 cm). Perlakuan ini mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan vegetatif dan hasil generatif tanaman Kyuri secara signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan biomatriconditioning berbasis agens hayati dan teknik defoliasi merupakan pendekatan agronomis yang efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman Kyuri.
