Abstract

Physics education in college is often faced with the great challenge of conveying abstract concepts such as quantum mechanics and relativity. In response to these challenges, this research developed a Metaverse Learning Space (MLS) that aims to improve the visualization and understanding of these abstract concepts. This research uses the ADDIE development method, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 50 students from the Computer Systems Engineering (RSK) study program at Bina Insan University. Through the use of MLS, pre-test and post-test results show a significant improvement in understanding of physics concepts. The results of the statistical test with the paired sample t-test show that MLS has a positive impact on student understanding. This research contributes to the development of technology-based learning methods to support a deeper conceptual understanding of the field of physics.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of tax incentives, inflation, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Indonesia following the implementation of the Job Creation Law No. 11 of 2020. The research seeks to determine whether these macroeconomic indicators significantly affect FDI inflows in the context of investment oriented regulatory reforms. Employing a quantitative research method, the study uses annual secondary data from 2019 to 2023 sourced from authoritative institutions, including the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia, and the Directorate General of Taxes. To examine the relationships among the variables, multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS. The empirical results show that although tax incentives have contributed to stabilizing investment growth in the early stages, their effect on FDI is not statistically significant. This implies that non fiscal determinants such as legal certainty, infrastructure quality, and regulatory consistency play a more substantial role in attracting foreign investors. The analysis also reveals a weak positive association between inflation and FDI, suggesting that inflation alone does not meaningfully influence investment decisions; instead, factors like interest and exchange rates may carry more weight. Additionally, GDP shows an insignificant effect on FDI, indicating that economic growth by itself is insufficient to stimulate foreign capital inflows. Notably, the post-reform period witnessed a notable increase in FDI, implying that comprehensive regulatory adjustments, rather than fiscal policy changes alone, were the primary drivers of investment growth, highlighting the need for an integrated investment strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using ChatGPT as a virtual assistant in learning Quantum Physics at the university level. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach, involving 60 students of the informatics engineering study program ITBA DCC Bandar Lampung, Indonesia, who were randomly divided into an experimental group (n=30) and a control group (n=30). The research instruments include concept comprehension tests, student engagement questionnaires, and observation sheets of learning activities. Data analysis was conducted using independent t-tests and quantitative descriptive analysis to assess differences in learning outcomes and levels of involvement between groups. The results showed that students in the experimental group using ChatGPT experienced a significant increase in understanding of Quantum Physics concepts (p < 0.05) compared to the control group, with higher cognitive, emotional, and behavioral engagement scores. These findings confirm that the integration of artificial intelligence technology, especially ChatGPT, is able to enrich Quantum Physics learning strategies through increased interactivity, learning independence, and the acquisition of complex concepts. The practical implications of this study support the adoption of pedagogically designed AI-based learning systems to optimize learning outcomes in higher education

Abstract

Literasi bahasa Arab masih menjadi permasalahan di beberapa daerah, termasuk Kabupaten Serang, yang dapat mempengaruhi pemahaman masyarakat terhadap ajaran Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Daerah dan Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Serang telah melaksanakan berbagai inisiatif, antara lain program pendidikan Al-Qur'an berbasis masjid, kerja sama dengan lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur'an (LPPTKA BKPRMI dan BADKO TKQ/TPQ), pelatihan guru Al-Qur'an, penerapan kurikulum yang mendukung pendidikan literasi bahasa Arab, serta pemberian bantuan dan fasilitas yang diperlukan. Namun demikian, berbagai tantangan seperti manajemen mutu di lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur'an, keterbatasan sumber daya, peran serta masyarakat, dan kurangnya fasilitas yang memadai masih perlu ditangani secara kolektif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi antara Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Serang, Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Serang, dan Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Qur'an di Kabupaten Serang telah memberikan dampak positif, namun perlu ditingkatkan dengan strategi yang lebih terpadu dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kerjasama antara Pemerintah Daerah, Kementerian Agama, dan Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Qur’an untuk mengoptimalkan program pemberantasan literasi Al-Qur’an, meningkatkan peran serta masyarakat, dan meningkatkan kualitas manajemen di Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Qur’an.

Abstrak Kinerja guru merupakan suatu hal yang sangat krusial dalam dunia pendidikan dan saat ini penilaian kinerja guru semakin pesat karena setiap orang berusaha untuk meningkatkan diri agar menghasilkan lulusan yang terbaik. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh kinerja guru. Dan kinerja guru dapat tercapai apabila guru selalu diberikan kesempatan untuk terus meningkatkan kompetensinya baik melalui pelatihan dan komunitas belajar maupun pengelolaan sarana prasarana pendukung pembelajaran. Penelitian ini melibatkan kajian pustaka dengan cara mengeksplorasi hasil-hasil penelitian dan artikel-artikel yang relevan, serta mengidentifikasi implikasi yang dapat diambil bagi dunia pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif untuk memahami fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang intensif dan pengelolaan sarana prasarana memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan kinerja guru.

Abstract

This research examines changes in assimilatory sounds in the speech of the people of Sepatan Village, Sepatan District, Tangerang Regency. The scalpel used by researchers in analyzing this research uses Muslich's theory. This research aims to (1) How changes in assimilation sounds occur in the Sepatan Village community, (2) What factors influence changes in assimilation sounds in Sepatan Village, (3) What types of sound changes occur in the Sepatan Village community. This research uses qualitative research methods, the techniques used are interview techniques, note-free listening and follow-up techniques, namely recording techniques. Data analysis for this research uses Miles and Huberman's theory, namely an interactive model, starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The data source for this research is the speech of the Sepatan Village community. Based on the research results, factors were found that influence changes in assimilation sounds and 5 data of regressive assimilation, 5 data of progressive assimilation, 1 data of reciprocal assimilation, 10 data of phonetic changes, 1 data of phonemic changes.

Abstract

Flexibility and arm power have a strategic contribution in finishing matches in the sport of volleyball, by having good flexibility and arm power the results of the service will be accurate. This research uses quantitative methods where the results of this research are in the form of data and numbers. The sample in this study consisted of 18 volleyball athletes. The instruments in this study used the sit and reach to test flexibility, the medicine ball throw to test arm power, and the jump spin serve test to determine volleyball serve results. The results of this research show that the contribution of body flexibility and arm power has a significant influence on the accuracy of the jump serve technique in volleyball, which can produce an influence of 62.7% for jump spin serves and 69.5% for jump float serves. It is hoped that the results of this research will be a guide for coaches and volleyball coaches. As a result, future researchers can further develop the results of this research.
