Abstract

Teacher certification conducted by LPTK in Indonesia is one of the main problems inthe world of teachers where teachers who have passed the test of a skilled teacher and havefollowed teacher certification training receive a teacher’s compensation allowance of 1 timesthe basic salary each month. Not all teachers can pass the teacher’s ability test because itcalculates the quality of the teacher. Not all teachers who pass the teacher test can be trained inteacher certification well and successfully pass the training. And apparently not all teacherswho have passed teacher certification can get teacher certification benefits. This is becauseevery teacher associated with educators is required to make 24 hours of lessons every week. Ofcourse this will have an impact on the struggle for jam teaching by teachers to fulfill the obligationto be able to undergo the certification allowance. Every teacher teacher continues to increase, while the number of classes each year remains. This has become a problem in itself which is aderivative of the teacher certification program. Each teacher will compete with other teachersto get teaching hours. Whether we realize it or not, the effort to compete with each other isnormal to make teachers as agents of development for education given to the next generation. Keywords: Teacher, Certification, Education

Abstract

Social problems in every society have a significant level of cultural diversity andinteractionism patterns with one another that are very different. This deflation involves the levelof cultural development and the condition of its natural environment. These problems can bemanifested in moral issues, political problems, religious problems and other problems. Humanitieseducation is an educational material that reflects human integrity and helps people to becomemore humane, which is to help humans to actualize existing potentials, so that eventually acomplete human being is formed, which has emotional maturity, moral maturity and spiritualmaturity. Various kinds of cases of violence that occur in social life, anarchist actions andviolations of human values have even become everyday. The indicator is that education has notplayed a significant role in the process of building a national personality with a social andhumanitarian spirit. Apparently, humans must be more “humanized” again. The protractednation’s decline is also related to educational failures in the past which resulted in adehumanization process. The educational process that emphasizes the development of personalityincludes a broader process, namely improving thought processes, feeling, and acting. With thehope of students being able to practice the values of life which include the values of truth(verum), beauty (pulcrum) and kindness (bonum). Keywords: Educational Problems, Social Humanities

Abstract

There are five main sects that have ever grown and developed in the history of Hinduism. The 5 sects are: Sivaism, Vaisnava, Sakta, Sora, and Ganapatya. The teachings of all sects comefrom the Vedic scriptures. But each sect selects certain aspects of the Vedic teachings and givesinterpretations in accordance with the prevailing traditions in each sect. As a result, there arevariants of teachings that differ from one sect to another. Conflict can be a process that isinstrumental in the formation, integration and maintenance of social structures. Conflict canestablish and maintain a boundary line between two or more groups. Conflict with other groupscan reinforce group identity and protect it so that it does not melt into the social world around it.Outgroupsconflict can strengthen the identity of group members so that conflict carries out apositive function in strengthening ingroupidentity (Poloma, 2003: 107108).The dynamics ofsyncretism between various sects and subsectswithin Hinduism, which are expressed in thelong chain of Indonesian cultural history, are not only unique religious symptoms, the greatestand still alive today, but also a right choice to overcome fluralism of the nation's problems. Keywords: Settlement, Religious Conflict, Indonesia, Hindu History Experience

Abstract

The study of harmonious and tolerant culture is still an actual topic, in the midst of thenation’s condition facing an era of strengthening of the transnational movement that threatensnational integration. As a pluralist nation, on the one hand it is a potential for national identity,on the other hand it can potentially cause conflict based on SARA. This paper describes theharmonious and tolerant culture built by Semarangan residents. A harmonious and tolerantculture in the social life of Semarangan residents comes from the consciousness or the mind ofthe Javanese people who consider religion not as social ‘isme’, but rather understood as somethingprivate. For Javanese, religion is ‘ageman’ or clothing that may be different or changed. Themeaning of ‘religion’ lies in how the person believes and practices it. Religious people are judgednot from what religion they embrace, but how much can give meaning to their society. Keywords: Culture, Harmonious, Tolerant, Religion
