Abstract

Pasatowan is a tradition of the Javanese people which is carried out by counting the weton of someone who will hold a wedding as a material for consideration of suitability between men and women, Sidoharjo Village I, the tilted market, where the majority of the Javanese population also carries out the Pasatowan tradition, only at this time this tradition has been rare. That's why the author wants to reveal the problem of pasatowan in the village of Sidoharjo I slanted market which aims to find out how the pasatowan tradition of the Javanese people of Sidoharjo I slanted market is, what is the view of the people of Sidoharjo I slanted market. The research method used is field research (field research) with a qualitative approach, the data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources, as well as using data collection techniques in the form of interviews after which the data is analyzed. The results of the study show that the pasatowan tradition is still carried out by the Javanese people in the village of Sidoharjo I, the tilted market, according to Islam, the pasatowan tradition is an urf which can occur in two possibilities because in Islam there are urf authentic and urf fasid.

Abstract

Tasyakuran is defined as a belief that originates from a teaching that has been passed down from one age to another which is monitored and preserved. Naturally, religious beliefs, doctrines or practices have an impact on the Tasyakuran ritual. Ways of understanding tradition have varied over time. Tasyakuran comes in various forms and is performed at certain times, including weddings. Of course, weddings are held in different ways in each region, and Siodadi Village in Kampung Rakyat District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency, is no exception. This study aims to find out the Tasyakuran custom or the practice of giving at a wedding in Sidodadi City, to understand the importance, reasons and values contained in this practice and the things that make this custom exist today. In this research, field research, qualitative research method, is used to get the right information by following this tradition. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Although the examination used in this study is an enlightening investigation, it tends to describe and interpret important exploratory data. The research findings are as follows: In Sidodadi Village, the practice of giving offerings at wedding ceremonies still exist, but some of them have taken on new meanings and adapted to the acceptance of Islamic teachings by society. 2). Tasyakuran means "a form of gratitude to Allah SWT", "rejecting reinforcements", and "filled with ancestral beliefs", and is practiced by the residents of Sidodadi Village. 3). The factors that influence the existence of the ritual, its values, and the way religion influences how the tradition is managed.

Abstract

Masalah keimanan nampaknya menjadi salah satu aspek utama dari ajaran Islam yang didakwahkan Nabi Muhammad SAW. Terkait Qadha’ dan Qadar, mula-mula muncul permasalahan tentang kebebasan dan keterpaksaan manusia. Aliran Jabariyah menganut paham bahwa manusia mengerjakan perbuatannya dalam keadaan terpaksa tanpa ada pilihan. Aliran Jabariyah menganggap bahwa manusia seperti benda mati yang tidak memiliki daya dan upaya sedikitpun. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui tentang bagaimana pengaruh pola pikir Jabariyah dalam penerimaan Qadha’ dan Qadar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aliran Jabariyah berpendapat, bahwa manusia tidak memiliki kekuasaan apa-apa, sebab segalanya tentang dirinya telah dikuasi secara mutlak oleh takdir Tuhan. Amal ikhtiar manusia tidak mempunyai peranan sama sekali. Pola pikir aliran Jabariyah dapat menyebabkan sesorang dengan mudah menjadikan Allah SWT sebagai sebab bagi sesuatu kejahatan atau kemungkaran yang dilakukan manusia. Selanjutnya paham ini tidak sesuai dengan kaedah moral atau akhlak yang mengharuskan setiap orang bertanggung jawab atas segala perbuatannya.

Abstract

The orientation of education is the formation of noble character in accordance with the teachings brought by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, he placed the perfection of morals as the main mission of the message of Islam.  The purpose of this study is to determine moral development, morality is a trait embedded in the soul that encourages a person to perform actions without the need for thought and consideration.  The morality is born from a habit and is ingrained into a personality.  Therefore, it can be understood that morality can have a good and bad impact on oneself and the environment.  Morals are the focus of all divine religions, including Islam.  Morals is a theme that has always been of great concern to Islamic scholars and will continue to be so throughout the ages. After doing the research, this research focuses on showing that the coaching process carried out by the Ar-Raudhatul Hasanah Islamic Islamic Boarding School Paya Bundung Simpang Selayang, Medan Tuntungan District, is widely supported by daily activities that are implemented to be obeyed by all students and female students, the way the ustadz/ustadzah educates students in learning process, and extracurricular activities. Researchers also found supporting and inhibiting factors during the coaching process. The method used in this research is qualitative with research results in the form of descriptive data obtained from various sources using a qualitative descriptive approach.

Abstract

Study of Nursamad Kamba's Sufism Thought in the book Loving Allah Independently. This research was conducted to find out how Nursamad Kamba's Sufism Thought in the book Loving Allah Merdeka. This study uses a qualitative method by analyzing the literature review. This type of research has data sources that are processed through literature related to the object. Based on the research conducted, the results obtained from the following conclusions: Buya Kamba considers that the path of Sufism is a way to transform human character. Buya Kamba wants to position and understand Sufism as a framework for building human psychology that can lead to positive self-character. In relation to the Novel Loving Allah Merdeka. Buya Kamba explains and invites readers (humans) to understand and recognize God, starting with knowing oneself and what it means to love God freely.

Abstract

This research is entitled The effect of reading comprehension of the Koran on the quality of faith of Santri Analysis Studies at the Islamic Center of Medan. The discussion about the Islamic Center focuses on Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzhil Quran, which incidentally is the reader and memorizer of the Koran. The condition of the Hifzil Qur'anic students is that reading the Qur'an does not reach them, but only until the reading is fluent. Because what they read does not match what they practice. Remembering the hadith of Rasulullah SAW will come out of my ummah, when reading the Qur'an does not reach his heart, but only reaches his throat. (H.R. Bukhari), so that it can reduce or damage the quality of students' faith.With the above discussion, I formulate the discussion and the goal is to find out how the obligation of students to read and understand the reading of the Koran and to find out how students practice the values of reading the Koran, to increase faith in the Islamic Center Medan.The method used in this study is through field research (Fiel Research) with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques are processed from direct observations with field interviews, with a total of three informants and documentation, data analysis is carried out using descriptive analysis, which includes collecting data, filtering, classifying data and drawing conclusions.The results of research conducted at the Islamic Center focused on Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzhil Quran is the obligation of students to the Koran only to deposit, without paying attention to tajwid and makharijul letters, and what they read is not in accordance with what they are doing, prioritizing quantity over quality, reading quality students are below average, and they understand only one percent of the Quran they read, because they do not know how to practice it, and the method they use is the talaqqi method.

Abstract

This research is entitled Youth association in a review of ethical philosophy (a phenomenon in Karang Baru Village, Datuk Tanah Datar District, Coal District). Intercourse in adolescence is an important thing to continue to be monitored properly, and this becomes the focal point of the source of the problem that is used as the background in this research and is used as a form of scientific work in the form of a thesis. This thesis describes the subject matter of the research problem which is divided into 3 sub-problems, namely, first discussing how the form of youth association in Karang Baru Village, Datuk Tanah Datar District, Coal Regency, secondly discussing what factors influence ethics in relationships among teenagers in Indonesia. Karang Baru Village, Datuk Tanah Datar District, Batubara Regency, the third discusses how the social ethics of juvenile delinquency in Karang Baru Village. For this reason, this thesis aims to find out some of the problems that have been exposed in the formulation of the problem in order to get the results of a study. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method or field research (Field Research) and the type of approach used is a phenomenological approach. The data sources used are primary data sources, namely adolescents aged 13-16 years and secondary data sources, namely community leaders from Karang Baru village. In this study the authors collect data through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in the association of adolescents there are several ethics that need to be applied so that in their association they can be directed to a better realm. And the phenomenon obtained in this study is that there are several teenagers who fall into the category of good association and bad association. Good association is that various teenagers still want to join in positive activities in the village such as helping mothers and fathers in religious activities, carrying out routine activities to clean the mosque every Friday. While the bad association is that some teenagers often do reckless behavior on the streets that are always passed by the community, hang out with the opposite sex without any restrictions, often hang out together and play online games without remembering the time, so that from this form of association many are the reasons for this. behavior of a child towards his parents is not good.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) the concept of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar in Islam (2) the role of the Majlis Tafsir Qur'an (MTA) Representative of Deli Serdang in implementing amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. This research uses a descriptive approach with a qualitative research type. The descriptive approach aims to systematically and accurately describe the facts and characteristics regarding the population or regarding the field. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique uses the credibility test, transferability test and confirmability test. The results of the study show that there are many strategies used by the Majlis Tafsir Koran in playing the role of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. As is done in various activities, for example in the Religious Sector, the Economic Sector, even in the Health Sector. All of these work programs have activities that will be carried out within a year. And every year, all activities carried out are always endeavored to continue to improve their quality. As for the role of the Majlis Tafsir Qur'an (MTA) in implementing amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, namely among the few male and female participants of the MTA Representative of Deli Serdang who have conducted interviews about 'Has MTA succeeded in making the congregation stay away from or leave everything that could cause evil' their answers are almost the same. They said the MTA Deli Serdang Representative with God's permission would make them become better individuals with their recitation activities. The role of the Deli Serdang Representative Council of Tafsir Al-Qur'an in society is enormous. For example in Social Activities such as; blood donors, sending SAR TEAM when there is a disaster, slaughtering sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha and many more.

Abstract

Philosophy is a subject of study that is widely discussed. Many philosophical texts attract attention. One Muslim scholar who has written many books on philosophy, namely Dr. Fahruddin Faiz, one of the books that talks about rationalism is a book entitled "Disappearing, Finding Your True Self". In this research, the writer wants to examine more deeply about the values of the philosophy of rationalism contained in his work. The focus of this research is How the description of the book Disappears, Finds Your True Self by Dr. Fahruddin Faiz How to Analyze the Values of Rationalism Philosophy in Dr. Fahruddin Faiz. The purpose of this research is to find out the substance of the book: Disappearing, Finding Your True Self by Dr. Fahruddin Faiz. Analyzing Dr.'s thoughts. Fahruddin Faiz on the Philosophical Values of Rationalism in the Book Disappearing, Finding Your True Self. In this study, the authors used a type of library research (library research). The object of this research is the values of the philosophy of rationalism in Dr. Fahruddin Faiz's book entitled Disappearing to Find Your True Self. This research activity is in the form of reading text books, listening to online seminars on reviewing the book and the author recognizes, identifies ideas and main ideas so that they become a whole meaning and find philosophical values. The results of this study are to explain that in the book Disappearing to Find Your True Self there are several values originating from Rene Descartes, namely, Principles and Motto of Life, starting to philosophize, finding true truth through reason, thinking is innate ideas, Cartesian ethics which explains God , Mind and Matter, then about philosophical advice. Also explained that Fahruddin Faiz is an expert in Islamic philosophy who wrote this book with a passing approach, namely the method of seeing the truth of one thing with another perspective of truth. The climax lies in the similarity value in every spiritual teaching.

Abstract

The emergence of social media has led to changes in people's behavior patterns according to existing culture, ethics and customs. With a large population and cultural diversity in terms of ethnicity, race and religion, Indonesia has the potential for significant social change. Indonesian people from various backgrounds and ages have and use social media to collect information and convey it to the public. Deli Serdang Regency is one of the administrative regions in North Sumatra. In Deli Serdang district there are several villages, one of which is Sialang Village. Deli Serdang Regency, especially Sialang Village, has 3,362 people, including 969 families. Changing times have made the development of social media increasingly rapid, especially in Sialang Village. Social media also plays a role in the households of the people of Sialang Village and has a more dominant negative impact on households. Qualitative methods were used in this research to determine the influence of social media in the households of the people of Sialang Village, Bangun Purba District, Deli Serdang Regency. The purpose of this research was carried out because many household actors are quite active in using social media, thereby influencing developments in the household. The results of this research are that social media tends to have a negative impact, causing arguments, infidelity, domestic violence and divorce. The efforts made by the people of Sialang Village, Bangun Purba District, Deli Serdang Regency are by maintaining communication within the household, being open to each other, and limiting each other's use of social media in the household.
