Abstract

This study aims to apply value engineering and analyze methods of construction on the bridge construction project conventional concrete construction. Evaluation is the execution of civil works on the building that is under construction bridge on the foundation structure. In the analysis of value engineering, there are several stages of implementing value engineering are the information phase followed by identifying the cost ranging from the highest costs to the lowest cost and use  law Pareto chart table and then proceed to the creative stage by using the method of cost / worth and the last stage is the stage recommendation. From the results of application of value engineering preliminary design at a price of IDR. 72,486,508,196.71 then some alternatives that are alternatives I obtained the price of IDR. 40,616,598,222.56 or savings gained by 43.97% in this alternate entirely using precast concrete pile foundation alternative II IDR. 41,699,143,562.9 savings gained 42.47% in this alternative uses all pile foundations and alternate drill III IDR. 41,243,208,716.9. Savings gained by 43.10% in this alternative partly using precast concrete pile foundation and the pillar 5 and 6 using the bore pile coated steel casing. Elections under thebridge structure with value engineering is suggested should be done at the beginning of the project to optimize cost savings projects that better suit the purpose of value engineering itself.

Abstract

Along with the progress and the growing number users of transport services, companies engaged in the transportation services required to improve the quality of its services, one of which is the perception of the quality service to passengers transport used by consumers. Quality of service is a service of the vessel Kmp.Teluk rated Sinabang these Labuhan Haji- Simeulue. The analysis was performed by calculating the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The purpose of this research is to identify some of the factors that influence perceptions of service and the level of conformity respondent / passenger sea transportation of Sinabang Kmp.teluk vessel analysis using Perception Index. Analysis of the results of Importance Performance Analysis to come by researchers at the Level of Performance Boats for Suistability Respondent (Tki) 0:09, the assessment Perception by Level of Performance Boats obtained results Suistability Respondent (Tki) 2:33, and the assessment Perception by Importance obtained results Suistability respondents (Tki) 1:00. So the importance of the overall results and performance in getting results overall passenger perception of Conformity Level Respondents 73.94 = 74 (Tki 74%). Suistability respondents (Tki) is the result of statements that prove the hypothesis if the value of the average performance of the above as well as the average value of importance/ expectations in the level of suitability of respondents freight ferries KMP.Teluk Sinabang under Tki <100%, which means transport services KMP.Teluk Sinabang not satisfactory. Abstract

Meulaboh town is one of the areas affected by the tsunami with very severe category apart from Banda Aceh, Calang and Teunom. The tsunami devastated most of the social life and infrastructure the city of Meulaboh. Nowadays, after the tsunami struck there Meulaboh residents who reside in the area close to the sea, such as the residents of Kuta Padang village In fact, all the coastal areas prone Meulaboh an area affected by the tsunami. To minimize the impact of the damage caused by the tsunami hazard, it is necessary to tsunami disaster mitigation efforts with the analysis of the vulnerability of buildings to the tsunami in an area. The purpose of this study is to inform the public and local authorities about the vulnerability of homes to tsunami waves that can destroy homes and buildings. The object of this research is in the village of Kuta Padang, Johan Pahlawan sub-district. This research method by collecting secondary data and conducting surveys and conducted interviews with society who lived in the village. Analyzed using the Buildings Tsunami Vulnerability (BTV). From the results obtained indicate that the region Seulawah has an average value of vulnerability very highest, 95.65%, and 69.57% and 56.52%. Areas that have the lowest susceptibility value is Hamlet Singgah Mata by level of vulnerability value of 60.87% and 47.83% and 34.78%. For evacuation routes, Geurute and Singgah Mata  village is the most suitable for the people of Kuta Padang to shelter in case of a tsunami.

Abstract

In the world of construction, pengendaliaan time, cost and quality are very important for achieving the ultimate goal of the project. Demands are filed compensation requests of the executor of the service providers. Charges could result in failure to achieve the ultimate goal of a project that has been planned in advance. Besides the losses incurred can affect the work or product. Those who feel aggrieved can file charges to include any losses experienced and an explanation of the rights that have been violated. The problem is to know which factors are most likely to cause the occurrence of claims from the contractor of the project owner (owner). The purpose of this research is to mengindentifikas factors that potentially cause the demands of service providers (contractors Executor) to service users. Based on data analysis, it is found 17 items of questions from 32 questions otherwise valid Corrected Item Total Correlation values> 0.3, while the other 15 question items is invalid because the value of Corrected Item Total Correlation <0.3. Analysis of reliability can be seen that the value cronbach'alpha if item deleted> 0.60, meaning that 32 respondents in the 32 item questionnaire that question is accurate, stable and consistent. Factors differences in field conditions is a factor that causes the highest demands. Keywords: potential, the demands of the contractor.

Abstract

This investigation was aim to find the illustration of structural steel design, using SAP2000 software, and to find how far the result different of structural steel by using ETABS. This investigation is background by the difference of design result by using both of the software. Is conducted by making simulation at two application software which used in structural steel design, those are SAP2000 and ETABS. The object were used is plane frame at 7 story steel structure building. The restrain at the structural steel frame is fixed. Both of software is determined by AISC LRFD 93 code. Structure is loaded by distributed load and point load, vertically and horizontally.Shear modulus on both application is cannot determined by the user. The structual design result shows there is no difference significanly for normal force diagram, shear force diagram and moment diagram. The design result shows the difference of structural check. The higher structural check value is 0.972 for SAP2000 and 0.920 for ETABS. Although both of structural check result of the design is different, the structure is still safe or it is not more than 1.00 value.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analize and identify the factors which will affect the operational cost of two-wheel motor vehicles (motorcycle), analyzing vehicle operating costs of two-wheel motorvehicles (motorcycle) and determining an adequate model for the operational cost of two-wheel motor vehicles (motorcycle) in  Tumpuk Ladang Village Kaway XVI Sub District. The dependentvariable is the journey that affect operational cost, while  the independent variable is the cost of fuel consumption cost of oil ( engine oil and transmission oil), the cost of replacemet tires (tire andinner tube), the cost of implementation of the service, the cost of spare parts and unexpected cost In conducting statistical test, processing data using statistical SPSS software. Then after the statistical test, followed by calculating the operational cost of vehicles of vehicles by type, capacity and the assembly which includes fixed cost and variable cost. Based on the results of this study the cost of fuel consumption and tire replacement is the most influence on operational cost. Model of vehicle operating cost analysis for motorcyle in Tumpok Ladang Village adalah Y = 78,426 + 0,004 X1 + 0,001X2 – 0,012X3 + 0,211X4 – 0,929X5 + 0,002X6.

Abstract

Fresh water is a basic human need, hence, utilization of water needs was not limited.  PDAM Tirta Meulaboh as local government water management company has not been able to meet the needs offresh water for the community, where the level of service that is produced is not running properly and optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study related to the performance of the freshwater distribution service system, which the study aims to see the real condition of the water distribution network performance and problems of water loss that occurs in PDAM Tirta Meulaboh. The method that applied in this research is survey and quantitative methods which is supported by the primary data and secondary data. Based on the analysis results obtained that the discharge of average usage which is produced is just in 106.92 liters/person/day, where the shortage of fresh water needs of each customer on average >23 liters/person/day. Analysis of the rate of water loss in 2013 obtained that water loss reached 35.07% with water loss 783.967 m3/year or Rp 2.024.202.794/year. Based on the results of the NRW program analysis with ILI method obtained that ILI value of 38,5 with an average pressure of only 0,03 m.  According to theTarget Table Matrix concluded that leakage or loss of water in zone service of Johan Pahlawan of PDAM Tirta Meulaboh belongs to the class D with ILI >16 and the leakage rate of >200 liters/connection/day. From these conditions, water loss that can not be cashed of 403.106 m3/year or 51,42% from  water loss 783.967 m3/year.

Abstract

Aceh is one of the areas in Indonesia most quake susceptible. Earthquake zoning map issued by the Minister of Public Works in 2010 showed that the Aceh region to earthquakes susceptible. The earthquake susceptible affecting the condition of existing building, while design and construction was built before earthquake zoning map to release. One of which is Bank Aceh building have in experience damage due January 22, 2013 an earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale, where some of the structural elements of the building experience crack. For this purpose analysis and evaluation of the damage to buildings affected of earthquake. The evaluation was done by reviewing directly into the field and collecting primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the strength of concrete is done by using the Concrete Hammer Test. The results showed that the buildings experience cracks on the beams. The results of the evaluation and assessment analysis, the building belongs in the level of minor damage and is still fit for use with some partial improvement and minor repairs. Minor repairs need to be done on the architectural and non- structural element. While the structural elements necessary repairs being in some parts of the beams and columns. Abstract

Research on Development Projects Griya Mahony aims to determine the feasibility of the investment project in this case the benefits will be achieved. The feasibility study is based on the financial aspectsof using parameter Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is calculated based on the length of the installment/credit generate favorable value/ feasible (feasible). For a 10-year installment (NPV Rp.802.618.444, BCR 1.036 and 2.469% IRR), for repayment periods of 15 years (NPV Rp4.208.880.167, BCR and IRR 1,174 5,368%), for repaymentperiods of 20 years ( NPV is Rp7.432.022.615, BCR and IRR 1,285 6.555%), and for the repayment periods of 25 years (NPV Rp10.886.611.347, BCR and IRR 1,388 7.272%). So the value obtained in this project future installments of not less than 10 years and not more than 25-year repayment periods. Having carried out a sensitivity analysis for future installments credit 10 years of investment is not feasible (unfeasible), while for future installments / credit 15 years, a period installment/loan repayment periods of 20 years and credit / 25 years of investment in this project is still feasible. This study was followed by memproporsionalkan number of house types to be produced to obtain the optimal proportion of the number of houses. From these results, the optimal amount that must be built on to three (3) types of housing totaling 76 units, with 80 types of houses as many as 13 units, 65 type of house 29 units, and 45 types of housing as many as 34 units. Gains derived from the proportion of the number of house types are optimal for repayment periods of 10 years of Rp7.162.031.000, for 15year repaymentperiods Rp11.08509 billion, to 20-year repayment periods ofRp15.380.030.000 and to 2-year installment period Rp 19.95799 billion. From the calculation of investment feasibility studies for optimal conditions of house number greater than the condition of houses planned by the developer.

Abstract

Transport infrastructure is one element of the regional development is indispensable for the smooth access to the existing facilities in the region. The material used in the construction of highways, among others, aggregates, asphalt and filler. During this time the filler material that is often used in asphalt mixtures are cement, lime, stone dust, fly ash. However, these filler materials inventory is limited and relatively expensive. Accordingly, the need to find alternative cheap and easily obtained. One alternative is the utilization of local natural resources. The ash of coconut fiber can not be used anymore and are usually thrown away by society. By using the principles of reuse, recycle and recovery, coconut husk ash is expected to be recovered thus reducing the waste bin. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of coconut husk ash as filler to mix asphalt Retona Blend 55 and to find out the coconut husk ash can be used as a substitute for the filler material mixture highway or not. The method in this study using laboratory experiments. The research showed that most of the physical properties meet the requirements prescribed specifications. Examination of the physical nature of asphalt Retona Blend 55 which includes examination density, penetration, ductility, and the softening point indicates that the asphalt can be used for fulfilling the requirements set. The composition of the mixture that the best results are with the composition of the mixture by using coconut husk ash as filler by 4.5% with the optimum asphalt at 6.25%. The use of optimum asphalt of 6.25% resulted in a value of 1295.47 kg stability, flow plastically 4.0 mm, MQ 328.51 kg, density of 2.21 g / cm3, VIM 5.43%, 17.89% VMA, VFB 70.17%. Those values have been in accordance with the standard specifications of the Department of Public Works.Keywords: filler, coconut husk ash, Retona Blend 55, mixture of asphalt
