Abstract

The waste from the operation activities of the Nagan Raya 1-2 Power Plant (PLTU) has caused environmental pollution. Therefore, this research was conducted to find a solution on how to directly reduce the environmental pollution load due to the accumulation of solid waste in the form of fly ash. This was achieved by conducting a technical and economic analysis to obtain the effectiveness and efficiency values of producing environmentally friendly paving blocks. The results showed that in terms of technical analysis, the highest water absorption percentage occurred in the composition with 25% fly ash, which was 10.73%, followed by compositions with 20%, 15%, 10%, and 5% fly ash, which had absorption percentages of 10.30%, 9.69%, 9.40%, and 8.60%, respectively. According to the SNI 03-0692-1996 standard, the maximum water absorption for paving blocks of quality grade D is 10%. In terms of economic analysis, the highest cost was incurred with a composition of 0% fly ash, which was Rp. 2,565.00, followed by compositions with 5%, 10%, and 15% fly ash, which had costs of Rp. 2,516.00, Rp. 2,468.00, and Rp. 2,420.00, respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that the composition with 15% fly ash meets the effectiveness and efficiency criteria in both technical and economic aspects. Keywords: Fly ash, technical analysis, economic analysis

Abstract

 Sai Village is one of the villages that is included in the administrative area of Soromandi District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The hilly topography of the village and the sea coast of the Flores Strait makes it very difficult for Sai Village to meet the water needs of agricultural irrigation, the conditions of the hills are arid so that farmers in Sai Village only rely on rainwater for cultivation or rain-fed land types. Sai Village relies on agricultural products for survival as evidenced by data on the number of farmers of 900 people and 311 farm laborers out of a total population of 3,079 people. Limited air irrigation is a major problem in agriculture in Sai Village, especially during the dry season. To overcome this problem, it can only be overcome by drilling water wells in areas that are considered to have the potential to contain fresh water with a total data of 69.29%. The water pump method is very effective in providing good water to rice, onions and crops, in the Sai 1 land area with an area of 35 hectares with a water requirement of 0.108 liters/second and the location of Sai 2 land with an area of 93 hectares with a water requirement of 0.245 liters/second whole water. Using a pump that circulates air of 0.0567 m3/second with a performance of 190.08 m3/day with a total engine operating hours of 23 hours 45 minutes.

Abstract

Kenaikan upah pekerja diduga akan mempengaruhi produktivitas tenaga kerja. Tingkat upah memiliki pengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja dimana, apabila tingkat upah meningkat maka dapat menurunkan tenaga kerja dan juga sebaliknya. Sebagai suatu proyek monumental Kota Makassar yaitu Masjid 99 Kubah yang berloksi dikawasan Tanjung Bunga Kota Makassar dalam pelaksanaan dan penyelesaiannya, diharapkan memenuhi harapan masyarakat yaitu tepat waktu, biaya dan mutu, sehingga salah satu objek yang diteliti bagaimana korelasi antara upah pekerja terhadap produktivitas kerja pada proyek masjid 99 Kubah di Kota Makassar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Menganalisis variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap upah produktivitas tenaga kerja pada Proyek Pembangunan Masjid 99 Kubah di Kota Makassar. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan software SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga variabel yang sangat dominan memberi pengaruh, yaitu pendapatan pekerja dengan angka koefisien 0,575, waktu kerja dengan angka koefisien 0,368 dan jumlah hari kerja dengan angka koefisien 0,855.

Abstract

Abstract In the implementation of construction projects requires a good management in order to realize the success of the project being implemented. Cost accuracy, time and quality are very influential on the success of a project. Among the factors that are considered are the cost factor and the time factor. From these two aspects, project control can be carried out using the earned value method. The object of this research was carried out on the Kedungwuni Police Office Building Project located in Kedungwuni District, Pekalongan Regency which aims to determine the value of cost variations, schedule variations, cost performance index, schedule performance index, estimated remaining work time, estimated costs for remaining work, estimated total project time and estimated total project cost. This study uses data from week 1 to week 15 with a total work duration of 21 weeks. From the results of the analysis using the earned value method for the 1st to 15th period, the cost variance value did not find a negative value. Then the schedule variance value has a negative value in the 1st to 3rd week and a positive value in the 4th to 15th week. The cost performance index value is not found <1 but in the 1st to 2nd week the CPI value is 0 and the SPI value has a value of <1 in the 1st to 3rd period and has a value of >1 in the 4th to 15th period. After that, the estimated total cost is Rp. 2,453,103,5841.00 with an estimated total processing time of 6 weeks. Keywords: Cost, Time, and Earned Value

Abstract

Kyai Amir Road is located in Manukan Kulon sub-district, Tandes District, Surabaya City. This road often experiences traffic congestion which are very disturbing for residents. The aim of this research is to find out how much capacity the Kyai Amir road section can accommodate, what the level of vehicle volume on the Kyai Amir road section is, how much the degree of saturation is, and what the service level value of the Kyai Amir road is. This research method was carried out using a real time survey at a predetermined time and the results of observations in the field. The results of the research can show that the capacity that can be accommodated by the Kyai Amir road section for a 2 lane 2 direction undivided road is 1,385 pcu/hour. The highest volume level was obtained on Monday at 17.00 - 18.00 at 1,359.9 pcu/hour. The highest degree of saturation of the Kyai Amir road section is 0.98 and can be obtained from the classification of service level values as E (0.90 – 1.00) which can be interpreted as unstable flow, low speed, dense volume or approaching capacity.

Abstract

One of the signalized intersections with four approaches is the BPKP’s intersection at Banda Aceh.  The intersection will be analyzed in the current condition and remodeled using the software SIDRA intersection 8.0. This Software can choose a predetermined minimum capacity for each little movement. Utilizing a video from a collected in the study area, the institute provided the information. Data from a video included vehicle volume, downstream distances, upstream distances, and negotiation distances, as well as transit time. in its current condition. The total flow of demand is 1060 pcu/h. degree of saturation is 1,406, and level of service is F. The remodel of this intersection is analyze the signalized intersection's traffic light cycle time. It is necessary to be able to handle the current that enters the intersection. Total flow of demand in remodel condition of BPKP's intersection at Banda Aceh is 1060 pcu/h, degree of saturation is 0,765, and level of service is C.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah sebagai bahan pengganti atau bahan tambahan pada campuran beton dapat mengurangi tingkat pencemaran lingkungan. Salah satu limbah yang telah banyak dimanfaatkan oleh peneliti dalam beton adalah ban bekas. Serat yang ada dalam ban bekas digunakan sebagai bahan tambah terhadap semen maupun agregat. Namun, beberapa penelitian menunjukkan kekuatan beton menurun. Pada penelitian ini, serat ban bekas dikombinasikan dengan bahan lain yang mengandung silika yaitu pozzolan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kapasitas kuat tekan beton yang menggunakan pozzolan sebagai pengganti sebahagian agregat halus sebesar 10% dan serat ban bekas sebagai bahan aditif sebesar 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Bahan Pozolan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari Krueng Raya, Kecamatan Masjid Raya, Kabupaten Aceh Besar, sedangkan serat ban bekas kendaraan berasal dari Kecamatan Suka Makmur, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental di laboratorium, dengan kuat tekan betn rencana sebesar 17,00 MPa, dengan benda uji berjumlah 20 buah, di mana setiap variasi terdiri dari 5 benda uji. Pengujian berupa kuat tekan beton terhadap perendaman benda uji selama 28 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kuat tekan beton dengan variasi 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15% berturut-turut didapatkan sebesar 18,29 MPa, 12,23 MPa, 11,82 MPa, dan 10,84 MPa. Kuat tekan beton menurun, hal ini disebabkan oleh banyaknya jumlah serat ban bekas yang ditambahkan ke dalam beton, sehingga daya ikat antar serat dan semen menjadi tidak baik.

Abstract

The construction of the Probolinggo-Pasuruan toll road has resulted in faster travel times along the Jember-Surabaya route. However, it has been observed that economy buses rarely use the toll road. To determine the likelihood of passengers switching between economy-class train and economy-class bus modes, a study on the selection of economy-seat modes between the cities of Jember and Surabaya is necessary. The study utilized the Stated Preference method for data collection, which involved distributing questionnaires to passengers at stations and terminals. The data collected were analyzed using the binomial difference method. The results of the study reveal that the Economy-Class Train mode is the most preferred mode of transportation. Experimentation on the travel cost attribute (ΔX1) with the value of Uka-Ubu Utility = 6.512 - 0.0887(X1) + 0.292(X2) revealed that 99% of passengers chose the train. On the travel cost attribute (ΔX1) with the value of Uka-Ubu Utility = 0.0205 - 0.0034 X1, 55.2% of passengers chose the train. Meanwhile, on the travel time attribute (ΔX2) with the value of Uka-Ubu Utility = 0.0202 - 0.0034 X2, 52.6% of passengers chose the train.

Abstract

Bima City is one of the municipalities in West Nusa Tenggara, where the location is at the far end of the island of Sumbawa with hilly contours following the coastline, Muhammadiyah Bima University is a university that is growing rapidly in terms of students so it is very important to fulfill lecture facilities and infrastructure. The construction of Campus II Muhammadiyah University of Bima, which is a 5-storey building, of course, must be carefully planned for the carrying capacity of the soil due to the condition of the soil over land conversion from agricultural land to development which causes the soil's bearing force to be unstable. The sondir method is a technical step to determine the allowable depth of soil density so that it can determine the use of the type of foundation in the Bima Muhammadiyah University Building. From the results of the study of the carrying capacity of the soil for a depth range of more than 19.60 m with the highest Qc value of 83 Kg/Cm2, it is included in the category of soil with a permit carrying capacity. While the soil carrying capacity for a depth range of 19.80 m with a Qc value of 133 Kg/Cm2 is included in the rigid soil bearing capacity category.

Abstract

The use of concrete in construction continues to increase, so innovation in making concrete continues to grow. One of the innovations used in this study is to use additives to analyze the effect of concrete compressive strength on the use of historical beach sand and chemical additives (Plastimen-VZ) as concrete mixes using Mix Design SNI 2834-2000. Testing of the compressive strength of concrete was carried out at 3 and 7 days of age with a reference to normal concrete control of 24.90 MPa or equivalent to K-300 and the number of samples consisted of 18 samples with the added chemical Plastiment-VZ (Sika) 0%, 0.40 %, 0.80%. The results of the study using historical beach sand and Plastimen-VZ (Sika) meet the specifications for use as a concrete mix with a normal concrete control reference of 24 MPa with a compressive strength value of 24.76 MPa. The results of the compressive strength of concrete with a mixture of beach sand and Plastimen-VZ (Sika) 0.40% aged 3 days obtained an average of 24.99 MPa. The results of the compressive strength of concrete with a mixture of beach sand and Plastimen-VZ (Sika) of 0.80% aged 7 days obtained an average of 25.03 MPa.
