Abstract

Background: Musculoskeletal symtoms is tissue damage in skeletal muscle parts (joints, ligaments and tendons) which caused the body to receive a static load, or work in awkward postures repeated in a long time. Workers work in the laundry by position standing, bending, and sitting in a long time. Objective: This research aims to determine working periode and body mass indeks with musculoskeletal symtoms at worker laundry installation in Hospital X. Method: This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The subjects of research were laundry worker as much as 33 people. Data collection using questionnaire which containing question about musculoskeletal symtoms.Result: The result of the research shows that working period is significantly related to musculoskeletal symptoms.  Conclusion: The result of this research shows that are significant relationships between working period with musculoskeletal symptoms Keyword: Musculoskeletal Symptoms, Working Periode, Body Mass Indeks

Abstract

The aquaculture business is one of the businesses in the fishery sector that is very important in exploiting natural resources and improving the welfare of the community. The detailed studies are needed from the initial selection of fish seedlings, cultivation management and post-harvest management. Brumbun Village is one of the villages that have potential for aquaculture businesses, especially freshwater fish cultivation, especially tilapia. The village government is planning to develop the cultivation of tilapia fish as one of the leading village communities. However, there are several problems, especially in the quality of water used for cultivation purposes, the pH value of water is still around 4-5 so it must be increased to 7-8. Supporting this effort requires efforts to intensify fisheries cultivation, water management and efforts to maintain water quality. 328 microcontroller is used as a tool to monitor the process of improving water quality (pH) and also scheduling feeding on tilapia fish farming. Keywords: aquaculture, tilapia fish, monitoring, microcontroller

Abstract

Dalam dekade terakhir, perkembangan industri telah mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat, Sungai Rungkut Surabaya merupakan salah satu perairan yang berpotensi mengalami perubahan lingkungan akibat adanya pembuangan limbah industri cair. Salah satu bahan pencemaran yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan adalah logam timbal (Pb) dan Kromium (Cr). Berdasarkan BSN tahun 2004  menunjukkan bahwa nilai standar timbal (Pb) sebesar 1,5 mg/kg dan logam (Cr) Kreco  1,0 mg/kg. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kandungan Timbal (Pb) dan Kromium (Cr) yang terdapat pada Kreco (Pila ampullacea) di sepanjang sungai Rungkut Surabaya. Metode Pengujian kadar Pb dan Cr dilakukan dengan menggunakan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom Shimadzu AA-6200 (SSA) dengan panjang gelombang 283,3 nm sedangkan Pengujian kadar Cr dengan menggunakan panjang gelombang 357,9 nm yang dilakukan Balai Riset Standardisasi Industri Surabaya, dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari s/d Maret 2019.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar Pb dan Cr dalam daging Kreco menunjukan rata rata 1,620 mg/kg pada kadar Pb dan nilai rata rata 1,976 mg/kg pada Cr. Kadar Pb dan Cr pada daging Kreco tidak memenuhi standart yang telah ditentukan oleh Badan Standart Nasional 2009.

Abstract

Pemanis buatan merupakan bahan tambahan pangan yang dapat menyebabkan rasa manis pada pangan, tetapi tidak memiliki nilai gizi. Salah satu jenis pemanis buatan adalah siklamat biasanya digunakan dalam bentuk garam seperti natrium siklamat. Natrium siklamat bersifat mudah larut dalam air dan tahan terhadap panas. Penggunakan natrium siklamat yang telah di tetapkan Peraturan Meteri Kesehatan RI Nomor 722/Menkes/Per/IX/1988 yaitu 3 g/kg atau 3000 ppm. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui adanya kadar pemanis buatan (Natrium-Siklamat) pada minuman rasa cappucino, choco dan oreo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium kimia Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai Mei 2019 dengan  menggunakan 14 sampel  pada berbagai varian rasa yaitu choco, oreo, dan original yang dijual di kawasan Wonocolo Surabaya. Analisis kadar natrium siklamat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode spektrofometri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada sampel  rasa cappucino, choco dan oreo didapatkan hasil positif tetapi masih dalam batas normal dengan rata-rata cappucino 0,035 ppm, choco 0,017 ppm dan oreo 0,020 ppm. Ketiga sampel menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada minuman cappucino, choco dan oreo.

Abstract

Usually, the people of Mojopetung Village, Dukun Subdistrict, Gresik Regency in disposing of waste from livestock are left idle in the ground if dried cow feces will be dumped into the rice fields. If in the rainy season the cattle fases will disappear by itself because it is carried by running water and the cow feces seep into will also flow into the river directly. This causes the water to not function properly and cause air and soil pollution. In addition, aquatic biota life is also disturbed not only because of cow feces (Bos taurus) but the existence of Eichhornia crassies which continue to increase people's habit does not use water as they should use as a place of animal baths. These problems can be overcome by processing cow feces with water hyacinth as compost. With the method of applying the fertilizer directly to plant. The method of data analysis was carried out using one-way ANOVA (Analysys of Variance) Test to find out whether or not the influence of organic fertilizer on plant growth.  The results showed that the average height of the stem was 32.69 cm in the treatment using compost, 30.84 cm using urea fertilizer, 25.8 cm without fertilizer. The number of leaves that use compost, urea or no fertilizer results in an average value equal to 5 cm, and the leaf color produces a green average for each experiment. ANOVA test on plant growth results in F = 14.608> F table = 3.59. This shows that there are significant differences in plant growth in organic fertilizer applications. the number of leaves and the color of the leaves yielded F = 0 <F arithmetic = 3.59 and F = 0.2 <F arithmetic = 3.59 which showed no significant difference in the number of leaves and plant height.
