Abstract

This study aims to determine the critical thinking ability of physics education students in understanding the use of ultraviolet light in the health sector. The research method used in this research is using a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects used are physics education students in semester 5 , totaling 42 people . The data collection technique was using a reasoned questionnaire written test. The critical thinking indicators that are measured are identifying, providing further explanation, concluding, and determining strategies and tactics. From the research data then analyzed to determine the presentation. From the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the critical thinking ability of physics education students is still around 32.6%, and is still fairly poor in solving problems regarding technology for the use of ultraviolet light in the health sector.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to develop the student worksheet for class XI MA/ SMA based on PhET Interactive Simulation about dynamic fluid as a source of student learning and determine the validity level and student responses for it. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D), consisted of four stages, they were preliminary study, product development, assessment and limited test of product, and evaluation of product. The research subjects consisted of three expert judgements (material expert, media expert, and learning partitioner) as well as 46 physic students at SMAN 1 Rejotangan. The results of preliminary study showed that more than 95% of respondents were unfamiliar with PhET application and agree with made of the student worksheet, so the student worksheet based on PhET Interactive Simulation about dynamic fluid was developed. The results of material expert, media expert, and learning partitioner validation recpectively were 79.58% (valid), 82% (extremely valid), and 85.83% (extremely valid) and appropriate for used. The results of product evaluation by 46 respondents showed positive responses, namely 75% respondents stated that the work steps of the student worksheet based on PhET Interactive Simulation about dynamic fluid were clear and attractive, so it could be used easily.

Abstract

COVID-19 menghentikan sementara kegiatan pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang mengharuskan siswa belajar di rumah demi keselamatan dan kesehatan. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah mengubah pembelajaran konvensional menjadi pembelajaran daring menggunakan teknologi modern dengan mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) bagaimana motivasi belajar siswa pembelajaran daring (2) bagaimana hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran daring. Jenis penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling, sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, Motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran daring diperoleh sebanyak 80% siswa pada kategori sedang dan 20% memiliki motivasi belajar siswa dengan kategori rendah. Dari analisis data di atas menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata motivasi siswa tergolong pada kategori sedang dengan jumlah rata-rata sebesar 68,2. Dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 orang siswa yang belum tuntas dan 7 orang siswa sudah tuntas pada pembelajaran daring. Dengan persentase ketuntasan 70% dan rata-rata keseluruhan skor siswa adalah 77,3.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of learning saturation of students at SMA YPK Oikoumene in online learning. The research method used in this study is a survey method using a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a sample of 60 students from class X and XI science. The instrument used in this study was a learning saturation level questionnaire consisting of 15 statements. The results of the analysis show that the level of learning saturation in students belongs to four categories, namely 1) very saturated 10%, 2) 60% saturated, 3) moderately saturated 27% and 4) unsaturated 3%. While the level of saturation shown by YPK Oikoumene High School students is the saturation caused by very monotonous learning. The results of the analysis using the Rasch model are 1). The analysis carried out on the person there is one student with a very high level of saturation and two students with a very low level of saturation. 2). The analysis carried out on items, the statement with the highest logit value is the statement with the code P1 and the lowest is the statement with the code P15.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dari pengaruh penggunaan software modellus sebagai media simulasi virtual terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fisika. Bentuk desain penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperiment. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua jenis instrument yaitu kuisioner dan tes uraian. Kuisioner digunakan untuk mengukur sikap berpikir kreatif dan tes uraian digunkan untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa dalam berfikir kreatif. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan penggunaan software modellus berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa yang dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar dari aspek afektif dan kognitif yang signifikan. Sedangkan dari hasil uji N-Gain didapatkan kenaikan rat-rata hasil ujian pada katagori tinggi yaitu sebesar 0,63 dari hasil rata-rata nilai ujian pretest dan postest kelas eksperimen.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android Application-Based Interactive E-Module to Increase Interest and Learning Outcomes of Physics Students of Class XI SMA Negeri 4 Musi Rawas which is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is research and development (R & D) with the development model used, namely ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research sample or research subjects were students of class XI SMA Negeri 4 Musi Rawas students who were taken by simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by using questionnaires and tests. The validation carried out got results in a very good category, with a total score of 176. Student responses to the android application-based e-module were with a score of 88.23 which obtained a score of strongly agree. In addition, from the results of the tests carried out, an average value of 79,73 was obtained with tcount = 2,448 and ttable = 2.060 because tcount ttable then Ha was accepted and the average percentage of student activity during the practicum was 83.38% included in the very high category. So it can be said that the interactive e-module based on the android application that was developed was valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics based discovery learning (DL) module on the subject of balance and dynamics of rotation which is valid and practical. The problems in this research are 1) how to develop a physics module based on discovery learning (DL) on the subject of balance and rotation dynamics of student in class XI of SMA Negeri 2 reference Muara Beliti. 2) how are the characteristics of the physics module based on discovery learning (DL) to fulfill the goals of validity and practicality on the subject of balance and rotation dynamics of student in class XI SMA Negeri 2 reference muara beliti. The subject in this study were class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 reference muara beliti which consisted of 9 students who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The develop of this research uses a four-D model consisting of define, design, develop and dessimination. The data was collected by using a student response questionnaire technique. And validation consists of 3 expert validations, material validation with an assessment of 37 in the good category, language validation with an assessment of 18 in the good category, and media validation with an assessment of 27 in the good category. Validation carried out to get results with an assessment of 82 in the good category. Students responses to the physics module based on discovery learning with an assessment of 33 in the very good category. So it can be said that the physics module based on discovery learning thet has been developed is valid and pratical
