Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media using Canva as a tool to help students improve their learning outcomes in the subject of Algorithms and Programming by creating Canva AI learning media that contains content capable of visualizing the material. The method used in this research is the Research and Development development method with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The results of the feasibility test by content experts showed a feasibility score of 4.6 with the category "very valid" and by media experts with a feasibility score of 4.7 with the category "very valid." The practicality test based on teacher response data showed a percentage of 90.5% with the category "very practical" and student response data showed a percentage of 91.2% with the category "very practical." The effectiveness test showed a post-test learning outcome mastery of 82.1 with the category "very good." The effectiveness test based on the correlation sample test results from the post-test and pre-test showed 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in student learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Canva AI learning media is feasible, practical, and effective for use in the learning process.Keywords: Learning Media, Canva AI, ADDIE, Informatics

Abstract

This research aims to determine This study was conducted to determine whether the use of the Wordwall website is effective in improving the French listening skills of class XI students of SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. The subjects of this study were students of class XI-4 as an experimental class consisting of 31 students. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method and a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes, as indicated by an increase in the average pretest score of students from 61.77 to 83.55 in the posttest. Then the t-test value is obtained with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05, with an N-Gain value of 0,5831, which is included in the category medium. Besides, based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the Wordwall website is very interesting to use in learning French, especially for listening skills, and students feel that Wordwall can help increase interest and motivation in learning French listening. However, the Wordwall website still has disadvantages, such as that students need to use headsets or earphones while listening to audio, and they also need a stable network.Kata kunci: Wordwall, Frech, Comprehensio, Media Pembelajaran

Abstract

The use of technology in education continues to increase, including the utilization of the TikTok application as a medium for developing Canva-based infographics as a learning tool. This study is motivated by the lack of visual elements in the learning process, which impacts the low attractiveness of the material for students. Students often receive material only verbally without adequate visual support, making the material less engaging and ultimately reducing students' interest and motivation in learning. This research aims to develop infographic-based learning media using Canva, displayed through TikTok content, designed to address student boredom and the lack of appealing visualization in material delivery. Infographics, which combine visual elements and information, are designed to simplify the understanding of material, while TikTok is chosen for its ability to dynamically present content through slideshow and hashtag features. The development method used is the 4D method, which includes four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Validation results from subject matter experts indicate that this media has a feasibility percentage of 96%, categorized as very feasible. Validation from media experts also obtained an average feasibility score of 93.64%, showing that the media meets quality standards in design and presentation, also categorized as very feasible. Furthermore, assessments from 26 student respondents reveal that this media is attractive and effective, with a score of 94%, also categorized as very feasible. Based on these results, Canva-based infographic learning media through TikTok content is highly feasible and attractive for application in the learning process.Kata kunci: Infografis, Media Pembelajara, Metode 4D, Pengembangan Media, Tiktok

Abstract

Pengamatan yang sebelumnya telah dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo Utara, menemukan permasalahan media pembelajaran digunakan terlalu fokus ke buku paket untuk dicatatat tanpa melibatkan berbagai media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi sehingga siswa merasa bosan pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung, masalah selanjutnya untuk mata Pelajaran informatika di SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo utara hanya memiliki satu guru tenaga pengajar sehingga apabila guru tersebut berhalangan hadir dikarenakan menjadi delegasi sekolah untuk mengikuti kegiatan diluar daerah maka tidak ada guru pengganti mata Pelajaran informatika lainnya sehingga proses pembelajaran tidak berjalan secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis website Google Sites dalam membantu siswa dan guru pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan media pembelajaran Google sites uji validitas media pembelajaran Google Sites pada materi sistem komputer diperoleh presentase dari validitas sebesar 92% dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan untuk hasil uji praktikalitas terhadap media pembelajaran Google Sites pada materi sistem komputer diperoleh presentase sebesar skor rata-rata 88,9% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran Google Sites sangat layak dan praktis dalam membantu proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Education is a means of forming a generation that is intelligent and has character. This means that education plays an important role in creating and improving the quality of human resources. However, in reality, the FKIP Information Technology Education Study Program does not have adequate facilities, especially in terms of classrooms. This results in lecturers and students having to optimize online learning by using Unila's platforms, namely VClass, Zoom, and g-meet, including WhatsApp Group. This study aims to: (1) Analyze the recognition of online learning in the Information Technology Education Study Program; (2) Analyze the type of online learning applied in the Information Technology Education Study Program; and (3) Analyze the factors that cause lecturers and students to not optimally use online learning. The design of this study is qualitative descriptive. The population in the study is students of the Information Technology Education Study Program (PTI) FKIP University of Lampung. The sample in this study is PTI students who take online courses for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Answering the research question, qualitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The data from the questionnaire is presented as frequency and percentage. Data from the interview are described. The findings obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed with interview data. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that: (1) The recognition of online learning in the Information Technology Education Study Program has not been implemented optimally; (2) The type of online learning applied in the Information Technology Education Study Program is not optimal because there is no overall awareness of lecturers and students to carry out online learning; (3) The factors that cause lecturers and students to not optimally use online learning are that lecturers have not prepared learning tools as a whole and students are less independent in carrying out online learning.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Online, Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi, Rekognisi

Abstract

Vocational education plays an important role in preparing graduates who are in line with industry needs, but there is a gap between the competencies of graduates and the demands of the world of work, leading to high unemployment rates of vocational graduates. This study explores the employability skills of vocational education graduates and the relevance of their competencies through industrial practice with a qualitative approach and literature study. Of the six articles analyzed, five used qualitative methods, one quantitative, and none applied R&D methods, thus opening up opportunities for further exploration. The majority of the studies examined students and industry, with interviews and observation as the main instruments. The findings suggest that employability skills research in vocational education tends to focus on qualitative approaches and the relationship between the education sector and industry. This research is expected to provide insights for curriculum development that is more in line with the needs of the world of work.Kata kunci: Industri, Kerja, Keterampilan, Pendidikan, Praktik

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of creative thinking of students in informatics subjects. One of the factors that influences creative thinking is the lack of use of learning models. This research aims to determine the application of the Project Based Learning learning model. There is an increase in students' creative thinking abilities in class x informatics subjects at SMA N 2 Gorontalo. This research uses a quasi-experimental research method with a nonequivalent control group design, pretest posttest and observation. The samples for this research are class X-1 with a total of 31 students as the experimental class and class X-2 with a total of 31 students as the control class. The posttest in the experimental class had an average score of 80.16 and the average posttest score in the control class was 72.74, then the hypothesis test showed a significant 2 tailed value of 0.01<0.05. The observation results show that the aspect of students' creative thinking abilities, namely elaboration, reached 84% and an N-gain of 0.3960 was obtained in the medium category because students were able to complete projects according to schedule, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in creative thinking abilities by using the Project Based Learning model.Kata kunci: Model Project Based Learning, berpikir kreatif

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving the skills and understanding of students in the Diploma-3 Mechanical Engineering Program. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in three cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Each cycle was followed by two face-to-face meetings. Data was collected through tests and analyzed descriptively to measure the improvement in students' learning outcomes. The research findings indicate that the implementation of PjBL is effective in enhancing technical skills, understanding of the material, and collaborative skills among students. The achievement of success indicators improved from 56.67% in Cycle I to 86.67% in Cycle III. PjBL has proven to create more applicable and interactive learning experiences, increase student motivation, and prepare them to face industry challenges. This study concludes that the PjBL model can be more widely applied in vocational education to improve students' practical skills and prepare them to meet the growing demands of the industry.Keywords: D3 Mechanical Engineering Program, Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Skill Improvement

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of adversity resilience and transformational leadership on job satisfaction as well as the influence of transformational leadership on performance, both directly and through adversity resilience and job satisfaction. Apart from that, this research also examines the influence of adversity resilience and job satisfaction on the performance of sub-district office employees in Serang City, Banten Province. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a correlational design. The research population includes all sub-district office employees in Serang City spread across 12 sub-districts with a total of 187 people. The sample was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan Table, resulting in 108 respondents. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire whose validity and reliability had been tested on 30 respondents. Data analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with evaluation of the outer model and inner model to ensure the validity and reliability of the instrument. The research results show that all hypotheses are accepted. Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on adversity resilience, job satisfaction and employee performance. Adversity resilience and job satisfaction also have a positive influence on employee performance. Apart from that, transformational leadership influences employee performance both directly and through the mediation of adversity resilience and job satisfaction. The implications of this research confirm that improving employee performance can be achieved by strengthening transformational leadership and increasing adversity resilience and job satisfaction. Therefore, sub-district heads and village heads are advised to implement more effective leadership strategies to encourage increased employee performance.Keywords: Adversity Resilience, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance, SEM, Skill Improvement, Transformational Leadership

Abstract

The misalignment between vocational education and industry needs remains a major challenge in Indonesia’s vocational education system. Data shows high unemployment rates among vocational high school (SMK) graduates, reflecting the gap between their competencies and industry needs. This study aims to develop WebGIS, a web-based geographic information system, to optimize the relationship and fit between SMK Agribusiness Agricultural Product Processing (APHP) and the food industry in West Java. The WebGIS was developed using the waterfall model, comprising four stages: needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The mapping integrates data from 47 SMKs and 105 food industries in West Java. Usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) showed an acceptance rate categorized as "acceptable" and an adjective rating categorized as "good." The developed WebGIS provides real-time geographic visualization of vocational schools and industry locations, along with detailed competency profiles for both entities. The findings indicate that this WebGIS effectively provides measurable information to support decision-making in aligning vocational high school programs with industry needs.
