Abstract

The concept of Hubbul Wathan Minal Iman in Islamic Religious Education is a spirit that upholds nationalism, culture, nationhood and religion. One of the unique traditions in this country is the celebration of the ceremony for the dead, known as the Rambu Solo' ceremony. This research aims to integrate and interconnect the Hubbul Wathan Minal Iman Concept with the Rambu Solo’ Traditional Ceremony. This research uses qualitative methods with a theoretical-descriptive approach. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Rambu Solo’ ceremony for the Toraja people consists of 7 stages which are based on Aluk Todolo. Religious moderation in this research can be seen in the way the Torajan people, who are predominantly Christian, maintain harmony with Islamic teachings about nationalism and love of the homeland, as well as how the traditions that are strongly held by the community remain in line with tolerant religious principles. This article will also analyze how traditional ceremonies that have local cultural roots can become a space to strengthen religious moderation, while still recognizing the diversity of beliefs within a community.

Abstract

The interference of Javanese in Arabic in the yasin and tahlil congregation can be heard clearly in the pronunciation. Many members of the congregation adopted Arabic vocabulary, changing pronunciation and sentence structure to suit Javanese customs. For example, in prayer or dhikr, the pronunciation can sound more "Javanese," potentially affecting understanding of the original meaning. Apart from that, the mixture of Javanese terms in Arabic expressions also creates local nuances that enrich religious practices. This phenomenon shows dynamic cultural interactions in a spiritual context. The aims of this research are: 1) forms and types of Javanese language interference in Arabic: the case of the Yasin and tahlil congregation in Crabak Village, 2) factors causing language interference, 3) efforts to minimize it. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The method used is the listening and note-taking method to collect data and the comparison technique to analyze the data. The results of this research: 1) there were several cases of language errors consisting of phonological interference, 2) the factors causing the interference were the bilingualism of the Yasin and Tahlil congregation mothers, differences in the B1 and B2 systems, carrying over B1 habits when producing B2, 3) with correct imitation of Arabic phonemes.

Abstract

Halal certification is not just a label on a product but is also an essential instrument in strengthening Islamic identity and values in a multicultural society. This research explores how halal certification interacts with local wisdom to facilitate the internalization of Islamic values. Through case studies on several MSMEs, this research shows that halal certification influences consumption choices and encourages the revitalization of relevant local religious practices. Local wisdom, such as traditional knowledge about halal food ingredients, processing processes, and social justice values, acts as a bridge between universal Islamic values and the cultural context of society. Thus, halal certification is not only a product quality standard but also a catalyst for economic development based on Islamic values rooted in local wisdom.
