Abstract

failure (CHF) based on the results of Evidence-Based Practice Nursing (EBPN) research. The design used is using a case study. Case studies in this innovative design are case studies by applying research results in the form of providing leg elevation to reduce edema in CHF patients with leg edema at Tarakan Hospital. Doing foot elevation three times daily for two days can reduce leg edema in CHF patients. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the mHealth application in stroke patients in post-stroke control. The method used is an article search using electronic databases such as the Cochrane Library, Ebsco, Pubmed, Sage Journals, and Science Direct. The study results show that an indicator of effectiveness is that mHealth can prevent secondary strokes in stroke patients and prevent disability in post-stroke patients. Were 199 articles found, and then nine were selected for criticism/analysis. Among the nine articles found in this study, the patient characteristics were almost the same, and it was found that mHealth was effective in post-stroke control, namely secondary stroke prevention and post-stroke disability management. In conclusion, mHealth is the best tool for post-stroke control compared to traditional health counseling, community essential health services, conventional daily programs, or classic pamphlets. Abstract

This study aims to analyze various types of puppet play to reduce children's anxiety levels while hospitalized. The method used is a systematic review through the Proquest database, Scopus, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The selected articles were assessed for quality with the guidance of the Joanna Briggs Institutes (JBI). The results showed that from 11 review articles, it was revealed that playing puppet play effectively reduced children's anxiety during hospitalization, and the range of children given pain reduction strategies was 3-19 years. In conclusion, therapeutic puppet play can effectively reduce stress in children who experience hospitalization. Keywords: Children, Playing with Puppets, Hospitalization

Abstract

This study aims to discover how health technology-based applications support managing children's health, whether carried out by the patients themselves or their parents. The method used is a systematic review by searching articles through online databases, including PubMed, Science Direct, Ebsco, Sage Publication, Cochrane Library-Cochrane Reviews, Embase, CINAHL, and Clinical Key Nursing. The results showed that using health technology-based applications affected increasing self-confidence, controlling disease conditions, competency and knowledge levels, parental self-efficacy in caring for children, increasing medication adherence, and improving children's quality of life. Apart from that, the effectiveness of time and materials also has a positive impact on the use of health technology. In conclusion, health technology-based applications provide a positive influence or effect that supports parents (caregivers) in managing their children's health well. Increasing parents' self-confidence, self-efficacy, knowledge, and competence in caring for children will accelerate parents' transition to caring for children at home. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of non-pharmacological therapy of watching cartoons in treating children's pain during infusion and venipuncture. The method used is a systematic review using guidelines from the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). The research results showed ten articles selected after selection and quality assessment using guidance from the JBI critical appraisal tool. Watching videos effectively reduces pain in children during infusion and venipuncture with p<0.05. In conclusion, the videos watched by children are adjusted to the child's preferences and age. Nurses are expected to be able to use non-pharmacological pain management strategies to provide the best care for pediatric patients. Keywords: Watching Cartoons, Pain, Pediatrics, Venipuncture

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of social support on the quality of life of cancer patients. The method used is a systematic review with literature searches using databases such as PROQUEST, Scopus, EBSCOhost, ClinicalKey Nursing, and other search sources. The article selection process uses the PRISMA method. The number of articles found in the initial search was 5,955. Seventeen papers were selected based on the title and abstract. Reports were read in total, and only 12 articles were used in this review, according to the selected criteria. The research results show that social support positively influences the patient's quality of life. Keywords: Social Support, Cancer, Quality of Life

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of the application of communication skills training in implementing psychoeducation for families caring for clients with hypertension. The research method used in this research is a case report that describes and analyzes the benefits of implementing communication methods with families in caring for clients with hypertension. The study showed a change in healthy lifestyle and an increase in the quality of care for clients with hypertension after implementing communication skills training in the implementation of family psychoeducation. In conclusion, applying communication skills training in the performance of psychoeducation for families caring for clients with hypertension can improve healthy lifestyles and the quality of health care services for clients with hypertension. Abstract

This research aims to describe family psychoeducation for married couples who suffer from chronic illnesses. The research method used was a case report conducted at RT 01/RW 09, Tegallega Village, Sempur District, Central Bogor City, on clients with diabetes mellitus with diabetic wounds by providing family psychoeducation in 6 sessions to the primary caregiver over five meetings. The research results showed that the CANSAS assessment found that three types of family needs were unmet. In conclusion, family psychoeducation can be used for husband and wife couples who suffer from chronic diseases by reducing psychological problems and the burden on caregivers in caring for clients with chronic conditions, namely diabetes mellitus. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the father's role in fulfilling the nutritional status of children. The method used is a systematic review based on guidelines from Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA), which includes e-resources from Science Direct, Scopus, Clinical Key Nursing, Sage Journal, Embase, Proquest from 2012 - 2022. The article included in this systematic review was based on the Population Intervention Comparison Outcome Study (PICOS) with a design for (P) all children aged 0-5 years, (I) the role of the father, (C) There was no comparative intervention, and (O) the child's nutritional status Good. The research results showed that eight articles were reviewed and that father involvement could improve children's nutritional status. In conclusion, the father's role in child care influences the child's nutritional status. Keywords: Children, Nutrition, Father's Role

Abstract

This research aims to design an innovation that can improve the planning function of the supervision program by the head of the room by making educational videos for families and patients to create patient independence. The method used is the case study method. This research begins with studying problem identification, problem analysis, and prioritization of problems to be analyzed using fishbone. The next stage of the strategy will be planned by preparing a Plan of Action, and then implementation will be carried out. The results showed that the activities of bathing patients in bed were rare (52.9%), washing the patient's hair was rare (76.5%), care for feet, hands, and nails was rare (64.7%), care for eyes, ears, and nose was occasional ( 64.7%) and oral and dental care (brushing the patient's teeth) is rare (64.7%). In conclusion, fulfilling personal hygiene needs by nurses in the Depok Hospital inpatient room is in the not optimal category.
