Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of palliative care on the quality of life of breast cancer patients. The research method used was a systematic review using the Research gate, Google Scholar, and PubMed databases with inclusion criteria covering 10 journals using the keywords palliative care, quality of life, and breast cancer. The research results showed that of the 10 articles reviewed, all articles showed that good palliative care would improve the quality of life in patients with breast cancer. In conclusion, there is a relationship between palliative care and the quality of life of patients with breast cancer, thus proving that palliative care has an influence on quality of life. Comprehensive palliative care for various aspects of the patient's life plays a very important role in achieving maximum quality of life in breast cancer patients. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of providing multimedia-based education on self-care of colorectal cancer patients with stomas. The research method used was a systematic review on four databases, namely Pubmed, Science Direct, ProQuest and Scopus with the keywords "colorectal cancer" OR "patient with stoma", AND "stoma education" OR "stoma management education", AND "self care", OR "self management" with the inclusion criteria of colorectal cancer patients, age> 18 years, from 2013 to 2023. The number of initial search articles was 4377 articles with 8 articles used. The results of the study obtained 8 articles which were then analyzed. In conclusion, the use of multimedia with OMRE, MELP, video (DVD), audiovisual, telehealth and mobile health applications to provide stoma care education can have an effective effect in increasing knowledge and self-care. In addition, it also has an effect on improving psychosocial adaptation and quality of life in colorectal cancer patients with stomas. Keywords: Education, Stoma Care, Multimedia, Self Care

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the mental health care mentoring program on anxiety, stress, and depression in the elderly. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with a one-group Pre-Post Test Design. The results of the study showed that the value of reducing anxiety in the elderly pre-test anxiety was 76 people (32.28%), and post-test anxiety was 52 people (22.4%). The stress reduction value in the elderly pre-test stress was 32 people (13.8%) and post-test stress was 14 people (6%). The value of reducing depression in the elderly, pre-test depression was 33 people (14.28%) and post-test depression was 21 people (9.1%). Meanwhile, the results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that there was an influence because the p-value was 0.000, <0.05, which means there was an influence of cadre mentoring on anxiety, stress, and depression. In conclusion, there is an influence of cadre assistance on anxiety, stress, and depression in the elderly. Keywords: Depression, Elderly, Health Cadres, Anxiety, Mentoring Program, Stress.

Abstract

Introduction: This systematic review aims to determine the effectiveness of relaxation therapy in reducing anxiety in heart disease patients and knowing what relaxation techniques are more effective than other techniques. The method used in this review is a review of various data bases including ProQuest, ScienceDirect and Pubmed published between 2013-2023 with the search keywords Relaxation Technique, Anxiety, Heart Disease. The results showed that there were four articles that showed the effectiveness of relaxation therapy in reducing anxiety in patients with heart disease. Conclusion: Relaxation therapies such as Benson's Relaxation Technique, prayer therapy, TaiChi, Meditation can be used effectively in the management of anxiety in heart disease patients. Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of nursing services, increase time and cost efficiency, optimize patient data management, improve care coordination, and provide better outcomes for patients overall. The method used was a systematic review carried out using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method. The databases used are Scopus, Science Direct, Pubmed and the Ners journal. The research results show that electronic-based documentation offers optimization for nurses in providing nursing care to patients. This includes more effective and efficient documentation, more integrated nursing care, and reducing the use of paper (paperless) which can contribute to reducing the impact of global warming and reducing hospital expenditure. In conclusion, changing nursing documentation in paper form to electronic documentation in hospitals requires careful preparation. Preparation for preparing the instruments used, supporting infrastructure and the readiness of nurses to carry out nursing documentation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of general relaxation exercises on the level of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy induction. The method used in this research is a systematic review of several databases through searches of trusted journals, such as Scopus, EBSCOhost, Springer Link, Proquest and Science Direck, Google Schooler with article analysis using the PRISMA method. The results of the study showed that a total of 10 articles had been analyzed in which there were several relaxation exercise interventions that were given generally and successively proven to reduce the level of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients who received chemotherapy induction. Conclusion: Providing relaxation exercise interventions in general is flexible, simple, easy to learn, and helps reduce the level of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy induction. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that prevent individuals who experience mental disorders in general from being able to return to work. The method used is a systematic review by searching for articles tailored to formulating research questions with PEO formulations in seven databases: Scopus, ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Proquest, Sage Journals, Oxford, Taylor & Francis. The research found two categories: internal factors, job status, workability, positive attitude, symptom severity, self-efficacy, and male. In contrast, external factors were supervisor support, loss of work contract, initial unemployment, low control over work, job tension, inflexible working hours, and no possibility of working from home. In conclusion, recovery can be achieved if internal and external factors work together and contribute positively to the client. Keywords: Inhibiting Factors, Common Mental Disorders, Return to Work

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of oral care using mouthwash or using herbal solutions to reduce the severity, value of pain, incidence of mucositis and xerostomia and other oral symptoms such as dysphagia for cancer sufferers. This research method uses a literature review by searching articles in 6 trusted databased such as PubMed, ScienDirect, Scopus, Springer, ProQuest and EBSCHost. The results of this study showed that eleven articles out of thirteen showed the effectiveness of herbal solutiona as mouthwash in reducing mucositis and xerostomia. Two of them are the use of herbal solutions which can reduce xerostomia, bad breath and increase the rate of saliva for those undergoing hemodialysis. In conclusion, oral care interventions using mouthwash and herbal solutions as mouthwash and herbal solutions as mouthwash are effective, safe and can be used to reduce mucositis and xerostamia for cancer patients. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR) to reduce procedural pain in children with cancer. The method use is a systematic review by collecting articles from the Proquest, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect and PubMed databases. The results describe that children with cancer in the VR group reported lower pain scores compared to the control group, both pain scores reported by children and pain scores reported by parents. Conclusions, the use of VR is effective in reducing prosedural pain in children with cancer. Keywords: Children With Cancer, Procedural Pain, Virtual Reality

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of self-management carried out by cancer patients while in hospital. The method used was a systematic review of several databases, namely Proquest, Science Direct, Sage Pub, Scopus, Ebsco, ClicalKey Nursing, and PubMed, resulting in 15 articles that could be analyzed. The research results show that the self-management behavior that cancer patients can use to overcome symptoms during treatment in hospital is effective in its use, starting from managing symptoms of fatigue, severe pain, anxiety, the effects of specific diseases such as urinary elimination disorders, lymphedema, and mucositis. Conclusion: Strategies that can be used by patients to manage symptoms are by making lifestyle changes, including resting, reducing activity, changing diet, consuming supplements, reading books, doing light sports activities, yoga and meditation. These strategies are expected to improve the quality of life of cancer patients. who is in the hospital. Keywords: Cancer Patients, Hospitals, Self-Management
