Abstract

Al-Karomah Pandan Foundation still relies on manual administrative processes, which often lead to delays and data inaccuracies. This study aims to develop a web- and Android-based administrative management system to address these issues. The web system was developed using the Laravel framework with PHP and SQL as the database manager, while the Android system was built using the Flutter framework. The development methodology applied was Waterfall, as it is suitable for administrative systems with a clear workflow. Each stage was carried out in a structured manner to ensure that all requirements were met before proceeding to the next stage. System testing was conducted using the blackbox testing method to verify that all functions worked according to requirements, and the results showed that all main features could be used without errors. In addition, user satisfaction testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) achieved an average score of 75.78%, which falls into the good category, particularly in features such as student attendance, teacher attendance, student re-registration, re-registration payments, tuition (SPP) payments, and exam payments. This study demonstrates that the implementation of an integrated digital system can improve administrative efficiency, data accuracy, and the overall quality of management in educational foundations.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based Nobel Press Point of Sales (POS) system that is responsive and adaptive to user needs. The problem-solving approach in this study focuses on the development of a web-based Point of Sales (POS) system as a solution for the digitization of transactions at Nobel Press. The Agile method was chosen so that the development process can be carried out gradually and flexibly, adapting to the needs of dynamic users. The results of this study show that the application of Progressive Web Application (PWA) technology in the POS system for Nobel Press provides significant advantages, such as better accessibility and transaction efficiency, even in conditions without an internet connection and the development of a web-based Point of Sales (POS) system at Nobel Press has succeeded in creating an effective solution for digitizing book sales transactions. The test results showed that the system was able to perform key functions well, including stock management, sales transactions, and real-time reporting.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a database-based information system for managing Social Welfare Issues (PMKS) and Social Welfare Potential and Resources (PSKS) in XYZ Village, XYZ District. Currently, PMKS and PSKS data management is still carried out using Microsoft Excel, which causes data entry errors, such as names, population registration numbers (NIK), and recipient addresses. In addition, data retrieval is difficult, and reports take up a lot of file storage space. Microsoft Excel is also not well integrated and does not allow for direct monitoring. The information system was developed using the Agile approach with the Scrum method and designed using database-based programming, PHP, and MySQL. In the design stage, the Waterfall method was used to design the system, and modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used to describe the structure and interactions between system components. The results of this research include needs analysis, system design with UML modeling, and 64 tables that support system development. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing, which involved the PMKS Admin, PSKS Admin, and Public Services related to PMKS and PSKS data management in XYZ Village, XYZ District. The test results showed that the developed information system was successful and could facilitate data management, information retrieval, and report generation, as well as facilitate direct monitoring. In addition, this system requires data classification on the dashboard to display information in a more executive manner, particularly to support annual reports. To maintain the sustainability of this system, it is necessary to improve human resources in the operation and maintenance of the system so that it can continue to function properly and support the management of PMKS and PSKS in XYZ Village, XYZ District.

Abstract

Conventional machine learning techniques, such as K-Means clustering, often necessitate transferring data outside the database for analysis, which introduces inefficiencies, potential data inconsistencies, or security and privacy concerns. This research proposes an in-situ database machine learning approach by implementing the K-Means clustering algorithm directly within the database management system through using stored procedure. The methodology comprises five main stages: collection of public datasets (from Kaggle), data preparation and cleaning, transformation of data through cyclical feature encoding for temporal context, in-database K-Means implementation, and performance evaluation. The evaluation utilized the Silhouette Score metric and execution time to compare the proposed in-situ approach with a conventional off-database implementation. The in-situ database clustering achieved an optimal Silhouette Score of S ≈ 0.914 in a remarkably short time of 0.0121 seconds. In comparison, the conventional off-database clustering achieved an identical quality score, but required a significantly longer execution time of 1.2956 seconds. This means that, to achieve the exact same cluster quality, the in-situ method is approximately 107.07 times faster than the off-database method. The identical score confirms the mathematical correctness of the SQL-based implementation and indicates excellent cluster quality. The findings of this study demonstrate that the in-situ database clustering approach is a superior methodology. This exceptional efficiency, validated by the successful categorization of e-commerce sales data into distinct demand patterns, lays a strong foundation for developing more effective and efficient predictive analytical strategies and data-driven decision-making, particularly for inventory planning.

Abstract

The prevalence of public space crimes, particularly street crimes like mugging and klithih, has become a crucial issue disrupting community safety and comfort. Current emergency reporting systems, which rely on phone calls or direct visits to police stations, are often hampered by time delays, reducing the effectiveness of intervention. To address this, an integrated crime reporting system is proposed through an Android mobile application developed using the Waterfall method. This solution enhances conventional systems by implementing Geolocation and Voice Detection technologies. Geolocation enables precise mapping of incident locations, ensuring location data remains accurate to within 9 meters even with a weak GPS signal Meanwhile, Voice Detection acts as the initial trigger for crime reporting. It proactively analyzes ambient audio for specific shout patterns, which indicate an emergency. The model achieves an accuracy of 0.9590% in noisy environments. Upon detection, the system automatically sends simultaneous emergency notifications to all nearby app users and security authorities within 2 seconds. This application is expected to significantly optimize crime response times, contributing tangibly to enhancing public safety and security.

Abstract

The development of a website-based information system has become an efficient solution for improving the sales and marketing process, especially for small businesses such as Toko Amuan which sells shirts. To address Toko Amuan's need for information system development, a website-based sales information system was created using the Extreme Programming (XP) development method and Unified Modeling Language (UML) design. This system has two main access rights, namely admin as shop manager and user as buyer or customer. Users have access to view products, place orders and complete payments. Meanwhile, the admin is tasked with managing products, monitoring orders and validating transactions. This system was developed using the PHP programming language with a bootstrap framework and MySQL database. System testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method which shows that the Amuan Store sales system runs according to the design and does not show any errors or bugs. The development results show that this system is able to support the Amuan Store's needs in marketing products, recording transactions in a structured manner and increasing operational efficiency. The XP method also allows for system development, so that the system can continue to be updated according to market needs and dynamics. In this way, it is hoped that the sales information system for the Amuan Store will be an adaptive and responsive solution in supporting the sales management of the Amuan Store.
