As-Sabiqun Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and articles on Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences. This journal was published by Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), March and October with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences topics are particularly welcome to be submitted. The journal encompasses research articles, original research report, and scientific reviews in education in any fields including: 1. Early Childhood Education Theory; 2. Early Childhood Education Learning Practice; 3. Early Childhood Development includes Religious and Moral, Cognitive, Language, Social-Emotional, Physical-Motoric, and Art Values; 4. PAUD Policy; 5. Parenting; 6. Teacher Education and Training; 7. Learning Strategy. Editorial Team invites academics, lecturers and researchers to contribute according to the scope above. Articles can be submitted online, by registering as a author (Online Submissions). Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Peer Review Processes. This journal is an open access journal which means that all freely available content is used. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or cite to the full text of the article, or use it for other legitimate purposes, without asking permission from the publisher or author.

Abstract

Learning is a communication process that includes two directions, namely teaching carried out by the teacher as an educator and learning carried out by students as students. While Corey provides a definition that learning is a process in which a person's environment is deliberately managed to enable him to participate in certain behaviors under special conditions and produce certain responses. Laps-Heuristic learning is a way of learning to think systematically by confronting students with problems or problems they face. Another definition of Laps-Heuristic learning is a way of teaching that is done by training students (students) to face various problems to be solved individually or together.

Abstract

Participation is about taking part in an activity or participation or participation. Participation is the mental and emotional involvement of a person in a group situation that encourages them to contribute to the achievement of the goals of the group and take responsibility for the group. Huneryear and Hecman also stated that participation is the mental and emotional involvement of individuals in group situations that encourage them to contribute to group goals and share their shared responsibilities. Motivation is a change in energy in a person (personal) which is characterized by the emergence of feelings and reactions to achieve goals. Motivation is a force that drives individual activities to carry out an activity to achieve goals.

Abstract

Reform in the realm of education in the perspective of Islamic education reformers is seen as an effective way in the process of Islamization in the archipelago and a strategic step in shaping the Islamic view of society. This article aims to analyze the transformation and progression of Islamic education promoted by TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid. This research was carried out in accordance with the principles of qualitative research using the library research. The result of this research is that the transformative Islamic education initiated by TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid by reforming several aspects of Islamic education was seen as very relevant to the condition of the people of Lombok at that time who were still in a state of ignorance due to pressure from the Dutch colonials. Renewal in the realm of Islamic education was seen as a strategic step in elevating the dignity of society at that time. Updates carried out by TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid carried out on aspects of learning materials, Islamic education goals and methods of Islamic education. From several aspects of the renewal, it is seen as relevant in the current era which is all technological and the demands of contemporary education learning today. students as figures of the Muslim generation are equipped to survive with the demands of the times while still being based on noble character and a foundation of religious knowledge that is capable, militant, has a patriotic spirit and high nationalism.

Abstract

The curriculum is an important role in achieving educational goals with various components contained in it. In the existing situations and conditions, the curriculum changes. One of them is the COVID-19 emergency curriculum which is given specifically in a pandemic condition. This research is a descriptive qualitative research which is expected to provide an overview of the importance of the current curriculum. This curriculum is adapted to the distance learning process. Distance learning is a learning process that is carried out face-to-face and there is no direct interaction. Every educator must be able to implement the curriculum that applies to current conditions. With the advancement of technology and the need for changes and improvements, the curriculum is easily implemented in every educational unit. The respondents in this study were given to the general public and became parties who knew the curriculum such as teachers, lecturers and students. Data collection techniques used through e-questionnaire with google form media. From the results of this study, it can be stated that the covid emergency curriculum can be implemented for distance learning with various adjustments made and is expected to provide knowledge and be able to develop for the better.

Abstract

The development of scientific research in Islamic universities continues to be pursued by university managers. However, there are still obstacles and several other factors in the university space which still show that the university environment does not appear pro to research. This study aims to provide information related to the challenges and efforts of higher education institutions in increasing the awareness and ability of students and lecturers in carrying out scientific tradition activities at Islamic universities, especially related to awareness of conducting research and publishing scientific works.method library research The results of the study show that there are still serious problems related to the awareness and ability of scientific research in Islamic universities. several things that become obstacles and challenges for Islamic universities in creating a pro-research academic community, namely the weakness of the scientific community in conducting continuous and directed research, inadequate scientific research budgets, lack of awareness among the economic sector about the importance of scientific research, inadequate library facilities, documentation and information center, isolation of scientists and bureaucracy, restrictions and lack of incentives.

Abstract

Leadership is a person's behavior that can influence others, by providing motivation and support so that the person is willing to work hard in achieving the goals expected by the company or organization. This study uses a qualitative approach because it meets the characteristics of qualitative research, namely: (1) the condition of the object of natural research, (2) research as the main instrument, (3) descriptive, because the data collected is in the form of words not numbers, (4) more concerned with the process. The results of the research on the influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance at MI Nurul Falah Mlayang, Sirampog District, Brebes Regency, that the principal's leadership at MI Nurul Falah Mlayang, Sirampog District, Brebes Regency is included in the very strong category. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style applied by the agency is a democratic leadership style. The hypothesis test shows that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. This explains that the more democratic the leadership style applied, the higher the teacher's performance. This leadership style has the behavior of being happy to accept suggestions, opinions and criticism from subordinates. leadership style that needs to be maintained, especially in the aspect of involving teachers in decision making and the need to improve aspects where leaders must pay attention to the interests of teachers and the interests of institutions. The results of this study are supported by the theory put forward by Amirulla, Leadership is a person who has the authority to give assignments, has the ability to persuade or influence others with a good relationship pattern in order to achieve predetermined goals.

Abstract

This study aims to map the forms, strategies and impacts of social roles that have been carried out by PW Muslimat NU NTB and PW Aisyiyyah NTB. The data collection methods in this study were intensive observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The process of data analysis in this study will be carried out in an on-going process in the field, so that it is easy to dig up missing data or confirm data that is still unclear. The results of the study show that the social roles that have been carried out by PW Muslimat NU NTB and PW Aisyiyyah NTB in gender inequality and injustice in NTB at this time can at least be reduced due to the hard work of Aisyiah and Muslimat NU with other groups, for example with almost equal education participation rates. between men and women at the SD/MI, SMP/MTS and SMA/SMK levels, even to the tertiary level. The consistency and continuity of the Aisyiah and Muslimat NU movements in boosting the dignity of women in NTB is something more than these two organizations compared to women's organizations that fall into the category of NGOs and NGOs which tend to be programmatic, casuistic and highly dependent on donors. Even the institutional pattern of NGO women's groups continues to change according to the "internal needs" of the NGO group and the NGO itself or "external demands" from donor groups.

Abstract

Social interaction is something that will become a component of humans as social beings. Knowledge about social interaction is not centered on each individual alone but can be with groups in the form of social contact and communicating with a response. The establishment of social interaction can take place anywhere and anytime. With the Covid-19 virus, there has been a complete change in all human activities, including changes in social interaction. The changes that occur do not only have an impact on the social process but also have an impact on the worship process of every religious community. This study raises the issue of changes in social interaction in the process of worshiping religious people who are focused on Islam. The respondents in this study were addressed to the general public, students, and teachers/lecturers. The data collection technique used is through an e-questionnaire with google forms. From the research process conducted, it is stated that with this pandemic, the process of social interaction in carrying out the worship process for Muslims has undergone significant changes and is expected to provide information about changes in social interaction and can be developed in a better direction.

Abstract

The 2022 prototype curriculum is a curriculum implemented in the Driving School Program which refers to the Pancasila student profile to fortify students' abilities and character as an important part of implementing learning. The purpose of this study is to discuss freedom in the application of the 2022 prototype curriculum. This study uses a type of library research or literature study with a descriptive method. The purpose of implementing this type of research is to be able to provide a description of the findings of a literature study sourced from articles, journals, websites, or books related to the topic under study. The prototype curriculum is an educational program that is one of the choices (decisions) to make recovery in the implementation of learning. This curriculum structure contains teaching and learning that refers to achievement. The prototype curriculum that will be implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture in the 2022/2023 academic year has very good goals, specifically requiring more dynamic and versatile progress by providing teachers with adaptability to carry out learning cycles that are for learning projects. To achieve this, the help and hard work of various groups should try to understand the superior teaching of the Indonesian language and develop it further.

Abstract

In this era of increasing globalization, many people use various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. Many people use social media platforms that aim to achieve their desires such as social, economic and religious.Social media also has a big impact on anyone who use it positively, such as preachers who always provide many benefits to Muslim brothers and sisters in spreading da’wah. With social media, da’wah can be heard anytime and anywhere. The purpose of preaching is to always remind all that life in this world is only temporary and the hereafter is an eternal place, and the most powerful is only Allah SWT. This study aims to find out about the use of social media as a medium for Islamic da’wah in the advancement of technological development. In this study, a survey was conducted on 52 respondents from among lecturers/teachers, students, and the general public. The result obtained from the research are a discussion of knowing and understanding the use and role of social media as a medium of da’wah and the challenges, opportunities and threats of preaching in social media.
