As-Sabiqun Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and articles on Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences. This journal was published by Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), March and October with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences topics are particularly welcome to be submitted. The journal encompasses research articles, original research report, and scientific reviews in education in any fields including: 1. Early Childhood Education Theory; 2. Early Childhood Education Learning Practice; 3. Early Childhood Development includes Religious and Moral, Cognitive, Language, Social-Emotional, Physical-Motoric, and Art Values; 4. PAUD Policy; 5. Parenting; 6. Teacher Education and Training; 7. Learning Strategy. Editorial Team invites academics, lecturers and researchers to contribute according to the scope above. Articles can be submitted online, by registering as a author (Online Submissions). Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Peer Review Processes. This journal is an open access journal which means that all freely available content is used. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or cite to the full text of the article, or use it for other legitimate purposes, without asking permission from the publisher or author.

Abstract

Religion is often used as a basis by a person or group to commit harmful acts of extremism. This is certainly contrary to the provision that religion as a norm of life. Religion and society have an interrelation that can be observed from the symptoms of expression reflected in the behavior of religious believers. The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and integrate forms of local wisdom activities as an effort to strengthen early childhood socio-religious moderation. This type of research is a field research using a phenomenological approach, where researchers will observe and investigate directly the phenomena that occur in the field related to socio-religious moderation and local wisdom. This research was conducted in Painggangan Village, Banyumas Regency. The source of informants is parents. Data collection is carried out by observation and interviews, while documentation is used as support. Analysis is carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and data verification. The result of this study is that there are several traditions that are still carried out by the Pasinggangan Village Community of Kaupaten Banyumas, where these traditions also have an impact on the socio-religious aspects of children, these traditions are, among-among, suran, earth alms, pilgrimage, ebeg art, and jamasan. From the tradition that is still carried out, it is known that there are cultural, social, and religious elements where in its implementation children are involved either directly or indirectly so that children feel the impact of these activities.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the most important subjects to be mastered well by students, this is because learning mathematics has benefits for everyday life. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in mathematics in elementary school students and to apply the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in improving mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students. This study used a qualitative approach and the data analysis process emphasized the conclusion of comparative literature reviews from several scientific journals. The results showed that using the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect, thus it can be concluded that the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model can be used as a solution to improve mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools. Abstract

When a global pandemic in the form of covid-19 hit the world. The impact was also experienced by the world of education in Indonesia. Many academics, starting from teachers, leaders, students, even parents or guardians of students have to adapt. The aim of the research is to analyze the concept of student management, implementation of student management, and student management of classes. This research was conducted to analyze Student Management Before, During and After the Covid-19 Pandemic at MI Al-Wahdah Sardonoharjo, Kec. Ngaglik, Kab. Sleman. This type of research is field research. This research approach uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. The technique for determining informants used a purposive sampling technique. Informants are the Head of Madrasah, Educational Staff, and Homeroom Teacher. The results of this study include the concept of Education management at MI AL-Wahdah which shows planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the efforts of MI AL-Wahdah to achieve educational goals. Furthermore, the implementation of face-to-face learning prior to the pandemic which was forced to turn into distance learning during the pandemic made MI AL-Wahdah have to follow the new system and adapt even though several obstacles would appear at first. The difference between offline class management before the pandemic and online class during the pandemic was in the form of reduced study hours in online classes and no extracurricular activities during the pandemic.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect to prepare a quality generation of the nation. Of course, in education there needs to be good educational management in order to achieve success in educational goals. However, the management of education at educational institutions in Indonesia is still far from good. The aim of this research is to find out about education management and the implementation of special services in formal early childhood education institutions, namely RA. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Researchers conducted research at RA LISDA targeting RA LISDA school principals, as well as carrying out documentation for data collection. Then the researcher carried out data reduction to analyze the data, present the data, and draw conclusions. The results of this research are that RA LISDA has implemented education management well and provided special religious services as a form of implementation of education management. This special religious service aims to shape the morals and behavior of students to become human beings who always obey Allah SWT. However, RA LISDA has not yet fully and completely provided special services, because there is no specific and permanent program.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the problem of moral decadence so that it requires community involvement in education management. This research aims to describe the role of community-based Islamic education in routine studies conducted at the Istiqlal Grand Mosque, Kampung Kalawi. The method used in this research is qualitative. Research data was obtained from primary and secondary sources, namely the chairman, administrators and congregation of the Istiqlal Grand Mosque, Kampung Kalawi. The data collection techniques used are interviews and observation, while the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research show that the routine study activities carried out by the Istiqlal Kampung Kalawi Grand Mosque are numerous in detail: 1) every day after morning prayers, the speakers are from competent community members, 2) every Saturday after morning prayers, the speakers are from outside experts. in the field he studies, with predetermined studies (beliefs, hadith, tafsir and fiqh, 3) every Wednesday after sunset, the speakers are people who are competent in the theme he studies, 4) every Friday after evening prayer, discusses and practices reading the Koran community, the speakers are from outside experts in the field of the Koran. Three roles of community-based Islamic education were found in routine studies at the Istiqlal Grand Mosque in Kalawi Village, namely: strengthening the faith, improving the community's reading of the Koran, and strengthening the Islamic brotherhood.

Abstract

This research was cconducted with the aim of finding out the influence of literacy, in this case public knowledge about usury, on people’s behavior in carrying out debts and receivables with subjective norms as a moderating variable. The type of research used is quantitative research with a survey approach. The population, namely the total number of PNM Mekaar Mambi Branch costumers, wa 3.701 people. The sampel was determined using the kriccjie Morgan formula which then obtained 348 samples which were then used in this research. This research uses primary datta, namely direct responses from respondents via questionnaires distributed via Google form and distributing questionnaires directly the field. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS 3 application. The results of the research show that literacy has a positive effect on people’s behavior in making debts and receivables.

Abstract

Students' interest in the subject of sociology varies, and some of them may be less enthusiastic about the subject, so an approach that caters to individual students' needs is necessary. The aim of this research is to outline the crucial role of teachers in implementing differentiated learning strategies in sociology and its impact on enhancing students' interest in the subject. This study utilizes a qualitative approach using a descriptive methodology, and data is gathered through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The research is carried out at SMAN 2 Pandeglang, located in the Banten Province. The research findings reveal several key points: (1) Teachers apply various customized learning strategies, such as grouping students based on their abilities, providing diverse learning resources, and assigning projects that align with students' interests. (2) Teachers act as facilitators, assisting students in identifying their interests, providing guidance, and challenging students according to their individual abilities. (3) The outcome of implementing differentiated learning is that students become more engaged in the learning process because they perceive the subject matter as relevant to their interests and personal experiences. In conclusion, the role of teachers is pivotal in cultivating students' interest in sociology at SMAN 2 Pandeglang through the implementation of tailored learning strategies. Teachers need to function as facilitators who understand students' needs and interests to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
