Abstract

Mahasiswa sebagai calon guru Fisika profesional yang kompeten haruslah memiliki pemahaman konsep serta keterampilan dalam pembelajaran Fisika, karena banyak kejadian atau fenomena yang terdapat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan lingkungan sekitar yang sangat berkaitan dengan Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep Fisika mahasiswa, dan melatih keterampilan praktikum dalam Laboratorium Virtual melalui penggunaan program Crocodile Physics dengan pendekatan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas untuk diteliti yang diberi perlakuan dengan memanfaatkan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Fisika Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 23 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dua kali yaitu sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) melakukan treatment, kemudian untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa dilakukan uji t dan N-Gain. Hasil analisis data untuk uji t berpasangan dilakukan dengan SPSS, dengan hasil nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar <0,001 kurang dari 0,05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara pre-test dan post-test. Kemudian hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa memperoleh kriteria tinggi dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,71. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dalam penggunaan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis TPACK.Kata Kunci:TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge); Pemahaman Konsep; Crocodile PhysicsTPACK-Based Learning Assisted by the Crocodile Physics Program to Improve the Understanding of Physics ConceptsABSTRACTStudents as prospective competent professional Physics teachers must have an understanding of concepts and skills in learning Physics because many events or phenomena are contained in daily life and the surrounding environment that are closely related to Physics. This research aims to improve students' ability to understand Physics concepts and train practicum skills in the Virtual Laboratory through the use of the Crocodile Physics program with the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) approach. This type of research was descriptive research. This study used one class to be researched which was treated by utilizing the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium. The research subjects were 23 students of the Physics Education Study Program for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Data collection was carried out twice, namely before (pretest) and after (post-test) treatment, then to see an improvement in student's understanding of physics concepts, t-test and N-Gain were carried out. The results of data analysis for the paired t-test were carried out with SPSS, with the results of the sig value. (2-tailed) is <0.001 less than 0.05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05), meaning that there was a real difference between the pre-test and post-test. Then the results of the data analysis showed that the improvement in students’ understanding of concepts obtained high criteria with an N-Gain score of 0.71. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a positive influence in the use of the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium in improving the ability of conceptual understanding using a TPACK-based approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis eksplorasi etnomatematika pada upacara adat Ba’samsam Dayak Salako. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Bapak Martinus Yohanes Mahadi selaku tokoh Adat sekaligus pembaca ritual dalam upacara Ba’samsam Dayak Salako. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari redukasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat etnomatematika yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Dayak salako dalam Ba’samsam dan juga mereka telah mengembangkan pengetahuan matematika yang kaya dan beragam, terutama pada sebuah bilangan yang terdapat dalam pembacaan ritual atau doa, dan bentuk geometri yang terdapat dalam penggunaan alat serta jumlah bahan yang diperlukan untuk upacara adat Ba’samsam ini. Konsep-konsep matematika ini terintegrasi dalam berbagai aktivitas terutama dalam Ritual Adat Ba’samsam Dayak Salako.Kata Kunci: Etnomatematika; Eksplorasi; Ritual; Dayak; Ba’samsam Ethnomathematics Exploration of the Ba'samsam Dayak Salako TraditionABSTRACTThis study aims to study and analyze the exploration of ethnomathematics in the traditional ceremony of Ba'samsam Dayak Salako. This research used a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The informant in this study was Mr. Martinus Yohanes Mahadi a traditional figure as well as a ritual reader in the Ba'samsam Dayak Salako ceremony. The data collection used in this study was observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results showed that there was ethnomathematics used by the Dayak Salako people in Ba'samsam and also that they had developed a rich and diverse knowledge of mathematics, especially in the number contained in ritual recitations or prayers, and geometric shapes contained in the use of tools and the amount of materials required for this Ba'samsam traditional ceremony. These mathematical concepts were integrated with various activities, especially in the Ba'samsam Dayak Salako Traditional Ritual.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effectiveness of integrating Computational Thinking (CT)-based STEM learning in prospective biology teachers at PGRI Pontianak University, exploring students' perceptions, attitudes, challenges, and opportunities. This integration aims to improve critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills to address the challenges of the 21st century. Using Sequential Exploratory Design, data were collected qualitatively through interviews and observations, followed by quantitative descriptive analysis based on student questionnaires. This research involved 100 Biology Education students in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The results showed that STEM-CT integration effectively improved the thinking skills of prospective Biology teachers with positive student perceptions despite technical challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi siswa pada materi mekanika menggunakan four-tier diagnostic test. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 342 orang siswa SMA kelas X di kalimantan barat. Instrumen four-tier diagnostic test yang digunakan berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan penalaran tertutup dan berjumlah 40 nomor soal. Data miskonsepsi diperoleh dengan mengelompokkan ke dalam 4 kategori, sesuai konsep sains, kurang pengetahuan, false negatif, false positive dan miskonsepsi. Selanjutnya miskonsepsi tiap submateri dan tiap item dianalisis kemudian dipersentasekan ke dalam kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 30,4% pada submateri gerak lurus (kategori sedang), gerak melingkar sebesar 28,3% (kategori rendah), gerak parabola sebesar 19,4% (kategori rendah), hukum-hukum Newton sebesar 17,3% (kategori rendah), serta usaha dan energi sebesar 22.1% (kategori rendah). Akan tetapi, terdapat data yang menunjukkan miskonsepsi tinggi pada salah satu item soal gerak lurus beraturan dengan persentase sebesar 54,67% yaitu menjelaskan grafik posisi dan waktu gerak lurus.Kata Kunci: Four-Tier Diagnostic Test; Mekanika; Miskonsepsi Description of Students' Misconceptions about Mechanics Material Using the Four-Tier Diagnostic TestABSTRACTThis study aims to describe students' misconceptions in mechanics material using a four-tier diagnostic test. This study was descriptive with a case study design. The subjects of the study were 342 high school students in grade X in West Kalimantan. The four-tier diagnostic test instrument used was in the form of multiple choices with closed reasoning and consisted of 40 questions. Misconception data were obtained by grouping them into 4 categories, according to the concept of science, lack of knowledge, false negative, false positive and misconception. Furthermore, the misconceptions of each sub-material and each item were analysed and then presented as a percentage into high, medium, and low categories. The results of this study indicated that students experienced misconceptions of 30.4% in the sub-material of straight motion (medium category), circular motion of 28.3% (low category), parabolic motion of 19.4% (low category), Newton's laws of 17.3% (low category), and work and energy of 22.1% (low category). However, there was data that showed a high level of misconception in one of the questions on uniform straight motion with a percentage of 54.67%, namely explaining the position and time graphs of straight motion.
