Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that have an impact on village fund management accountability, which consists of internal control systems, financial report accessibility, community participation, and information technology utilization on village fund management accountability in Kuantan Singingi district. This study is aquantitative research. The population in this study is a village in Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The sample in this research is a developing village in Kuantan Singingi, Riau Province and uses purposive sampling method. The type of data used in this research is primary data. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The analytical method used is Multiple Regression Analysis. The statistical findings of this study reveal that the factors of Internal Control System, Community Participation, and Information Technology Utilization impact the Accountability of Village Fund Management but not the Accessibility of Financial Reports. As a consequence, it is intended that this research will contribute to the growth of accounting literature, and that the findings would be useful to the Village Government in managing its strategic actions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of love of money and idealism on students' ethical perceptions. The population in this study were students majoring in Accounting in Sulawesi Selatan district. The number of questionnaires processed in this study were 100 respondents. To test the hypothesis, the researcher used a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach using the AMOS software. The results of this study indicate that the love of money has a positive effect on idealism, and idealism has an effect on ethical perceptions, while the love of money has no effect on ethical perceptions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the variables of management ownership, foreign ownership, public ownership, independent commissioners, audit committees, and risk management committees on risk management disclosures. The population in this study is all manufacturing companies listed in the IDX period 2016-2021. The selection of sample in this study used the purposive sampling method. The samples selected in this study are 71 companies based on predetermined criteria. The results showed that the risk management committee had a positive and significant effect on risk management disclosure. Meanwhile, management ownership, foreign ownership, public ownership, independent commissioners and audit committees have no significant effect on risk management disclosure

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of machiavellian and money ethics with religiosity as a moderator on the intention to carry out tax evasion. This type of research is quantitative. Primary data is used to collect data by distributing questionnaires to Yogyakarta taxpayers. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing the Google Form link via WhatsApp social media. The number of questionnaires processed was 100 respondents. The results of this study indicate that machiavellian has a positive effect on tax evasion intentions, money ethics has no effect on tax evasion intentions, religiosity moderates the machiavellian effect on tax evasion intentions, and religiosity does not moderate the effect of money ethics on tax evasion intentions.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate how environmental performance serves as a moderator in the association between carbon emissions disclosure (CED) and investor response. The objective of this research is to investigate the correlation between non-standard stock returns and carbon emission disclosure, utilizing environmental performance as an intermediary factor. The present analysis comprises manufacturing firms that were listed on the IDX and PROPER platforms during the period spanning from 2017 to 2020. The statistical software package SPSS version 22 was utilized to perform the hypothesis testing. The dataset comprised 27 distinct commercial entities, encompassing a cumulative count of 138 individual records. The study's sample was selected through the utilisation of purposive sampling. Multiple regression analysis is utilized in this study for the purpose of hypothesis testing. The aforementioned results indicate that the implementation of Corporate Environmental Disclosure (CED) and favorable financial performance have a constructive influence on the responses of investors. The relationship between the disclosure of carbon emissions and investor response is influenced and reinforced by environmental performance. However, the relationship between financial performance and investor response is not influenced by environmental performance.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to investigate and look at how e-commerce, business capital, accounting information systems, income expectations, and entrepreneurial decision-making relate. Students enrolled in the Semarang Stikubank University (UNSBANK) Accounting Study Program for the classes of 2019 and 2020 made up the study's population. The primary data used in this study was directly collected from respondents using a Google form. A questionnaire is a method of gathering data. 130 respondents were included in the sample that was collected using the purposive sampling technique. The analytical technique employed is multiple linear regression analysis. According to the test's findings, e-commerce, accounting information systems, and income expectations have a effect and significant impact on entrepreneurs' ability to make decisions, however business capital has no such impact.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to test and analyze the effect of managerial ownership and institutional ownership on intellectual capital performance and intellectual capital disclosure for 2020-2021. This research used a quantitative approach. The population of this research are companies that included in the ESG Leaders index. The sample of this research as much 35 companies. The analysis technique used a content analysis and Warp Pls software. The result of this research prove that managerial ownership and institutional ownership contributed to intellectual capital performance, institutional ownership also contributed to intellectual capital disclosure, but managerial ownership and intellectual capital performance can’t contributed to intellectual capital disclosure.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of competence, independence and integrity on compliance audit quality moderated by auditor skepticism in the Inspectorate apparatus throughout Riau Province. The population in this study amounted to 297 respondents with a sample of 171 respondents. The research method was carried out by survey using a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this study is the Warp PLS Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results of the research hypothesis testing show that competence, independence and integrity have a positive effect on compliance audit quality. There is a significant influence of auditor skepticism in moderating auditor competence, independence and integrity on compliance audit quality. Based on this research, the theoretical implications can provide a stronger consideration of previous research and the theory that has been explained. One of the managerial implications in this study is that it is hoped that the Inspectorate auditors throughout Riau Province in carrying out compliance audits can maintain a code of ethics as auditors so that they always produce quality compliance audits.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the impact of financial distress, public ownership, audit delay, and concentrated ownership on auditor switching within the context of property and real estate firms listed on the IDX between 2017 and 2021, comprising a total of 49 companies. The research employed a purposive sampling approach to select 21 companies that fulfilled the research criteria. The study relied on secondary data extracted from the financial reports of these companies and involved a multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that financial distress exerts a negative influence on auditor switching, whereas public ownership and audit delay exhibit a positive association with auditor switching. In contrast, concentrated ownership does not demonstrate a significant effect on auditor switching. These findings provide valuable insights for both firms and investors, enabling them to make well-informed decisions concerning auditor switching and its associated determinants, including financial distress, public ownership, and audit delay

Abstract

The research aims to determine the impact of the connection between corporate governance and agency expenses. The study's independent variables include the audit committee, management ownership, board of commissioners, and debt policy. The dependent variable used in this study is agency cost, which is computed using asset characteristics. This study also uses a control variable, namely company size. The population data used in this study are the banks registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2017 and 2021. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of this study suggest that agency expenses are influenced by the board of commissioners and firm size. In contrast, there is no connection between the audit committee, management ownership, and debt policy, and agency expenses. The implication of this research is to minimize losses caused by the actions and policies of agents, principals are expected to continue to monitor the implementation of good corporate governance
