Abstract

This study aims to see how the use of social media Instagram account @mahasiswaakhir.id as a medium for information literacy in students. This study uses qualitative methods with participatory observation data collection techniques and interviews. The research results show that the @mahasiswaakhir.id account is an Instagram account that seeks to become an information literacy medium, especially for students by providing relevant information in the form of video tips and tutorials as well as motivational content that can help and benefit students. This shows that the @mahasiswaakhir.id account utilizes Instagram social media as an information literacy medium for students by providing video content information, tutorial tips and motivation to students so that students can choose and process information according to their needs. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine community participation in waste management in the coastal tourism area of Bengkulu City. The research method is qualitative by using descriptive methods. Data and informants as many as six people with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was community participation in waste management on the coast of Bengkulu City. Community participation is influenced by three main things, namely the willingness, ability, and opportunity of the community to participate. There is still a need for improvement from the community to be able to participate in waste management and the lack of waste infrastructure in coastal areas which affects waste dumped carelessly. The conclusion of this study is that the community has begun to be aware and is trying to participate in reducing waste in coastal tourism areas in Bengkulu City, but there is still a need for additions, repairs or replacement of infrastructure that is no longer suitable for use at several coastal points. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how intercultural communication creates tolerance in the people of the Permu Immigration Village, where the Permu Immigration Village has ethnicities with five different multiculturalities that can maintain a tolerant life. The research method used is a qualitative research method by relying on Face Negotiation Theory to see the interaction behavior of people of different ethnicities with facework in order to see communicative behavior. The results of this study indicate that interactions between ethnic immigrants and indigenous ethnicities have taken place in the Permu Immigration Village, which has always avoided prolonged conflict and has become a tolerant village. mutual respect and respect for the existence of agreement decisions that have existed since long ago there has never been any change to the agreement. The conclusion of the research is that multiculturalism in the Permu Immigration Village applies negotiation theory and an attitude of obliging (obligation) towards agreements and in avoiding problems so that they are not prolonged. Abstract

The aim of this research is to see how the media framing news about Covid-19 in the online media Okezone.com and Tribunnews.com. This study uses the Robert N. Etman framing analysis method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques by viewing and observing Covid-19 news in the online media Okezone.com and Tribunnews.com. The overall results of the study are based on the Robert N. Etman framing analysis model with 4 aspects, namely Define Problem, Diagnose Causes, Make Moral Judgment, Treatment Recommendation, stating that the prominence of news articles related to Covid-19 on Okezone.com discusses the impact of Covid-19 in several sectors. Meanwhile, Tribunnews.com provides updates on the development of the Covid-19 case. Tribunnews.com also highlights the issue of anticipation by the government regarding the handling of Covid-19 ahead of Christmas and New Year. The conclusion of the research is that Okezone.com news places more emphasis on the issue of articles on the impact of Covid-19 in various ways such as propaganda, celebration of certain days, cases that occur in society, and also focuses on the impact on the education and economic sectors and Tribunnews.com is more on updates on the development of the Covid-19 case, starting from the latest number of cases, the number of positive cases, deaths and also those who have recovered. Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the strategies implemented by the Land Agency Office in providing services to the community in the field of making land certificates and to find out what factors are hindering the strategy in providing services to the community in Kaur Regency. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the service for making land certificates carried out by the Kaur District Land Agency Office had been carried out properly, although there were several programs that had not yet been realized. The obstacles that occur in the implementation of making land certificates are not entirely the fault of the Land Agency Office, because the lack of institutions is not a big obstacle for people who want to make land certificates, on the contrary it is the fault of the people who do not follow the applicable regulations, and will impede the work of the Land Agency Office in processing community-owned land certificates. The conclusion that the active role of the community is still needed can improve the deficiencies that are owned by the Kaur District Land Agency Office.
