Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and practicality test of the science literacy-based practicum module for science learning at SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Langsa. The research method used is education development (Education Research and Development) to determine the quality or feasibility of the module as a practical guide. This practicum module is analyzed the feasibility test by material and media experts consisting of biology and physics education lecturers, while the practicality test uses a questionnaire distributed by science subject teachers. The results showed that the IPA practicum module products analyzed consisted of four categories with a percentage value of 54.99% content feasibility, 60.00% language value, 48.33% presentation value and 66.66% graphics value. Furthermore, a practicality test was carried out which consisted of three aspects, namely the content aspect of 82.85%, the process of the value of 77.14% and the context of the value of 54.28. Based on the values obtained, the science practicum module is feasible and practical to use as a practicum guide.

Abstract

The history of the network growth between knowledge claimants from Gayo and scholars in the Aceh Coast, West Sumatra and Bangil, East Java, involves a very complex historical process-The network of students and teachers was created to change the mindset of knowledge claimants which later gave birth to a renewal of Islamic education in Gayo during the Era 1900-1986 years. There are two network models that occur, namely the network of figures and institutions. In order to accurately understand the form of interaction and relationship between these three areas and the historical dynamics depicted in Gayo Islamic education, it is described and presented in this paper.

Abstract

The research objective with the title "Analysis of the Role of Waste Banks to Improve the Creative Economy of the Community (Study at the Pamulang Garbage Bank) wants to know and describe the role of waste banks in an effort to improve the community's economy. Research with the object of the Ketumbar waste bank which is located at RW 18 Banda Baru Pamulang, South Tangerang uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explain the existing phenomena or symptoms. The waste bank has a big enough role in dealing with waste problems that have not yet been handled effectively and efficiently. It is hoped that the presence of a waste bank will be able to contribute to reducing the volume of waste as well as improving the creative economy of the community. The research, which uses researchers as its instrument, by conducting data collection techniques through interviews and document studies, determines the coordinator of the Benda Baru waste bank and his three teams as the key informants, which are the primary sources of information. The results show that the role of the waste bank has been able to improve the creative economy of the community but has not been optimal because what has been done is only as a container, the distributor has returned to the stall, has not yet reached the recycling development process so as to produce competitive production if marketed because it is constrained by the craftsmen who have creative power and marketing the creations of used goods craftsmen. This is because people still look down on used goods even though they have been recycled and the government's attention is not yet optimal in opening distribution channels for creative waste products. So the role of the new garbage nk plays a role as an intermediary for the community with used goods collectors stalls.

Abstract

The title of this journal was “Phonotactics in the Syllables of Batak Toba dialect” which studied syllables, vocal row and consonant row. The background of this study was by imitating one’s utterance in a written form and pronunciation in basic words. The objective was to determine the syllable structure, vowel row, and consonant row. Its benefit was that it could be used as teaching materials at senior high schools and colleges, esppecially in of Bataknese literature study program. It could also be used as the contribution to the development of the National Literature. The research used linguistic descriptive theory, library research, observton, and   interviews. The result of the research showed that there were 7 (seven) types of syllable in the Batak Toba dialect: 1) word which consisted of one syllable, 2) word which consisted of two syllables, 3) word which consisted of three syllables, 4) word which consisted of four syllables, 5) word which consisted of five syllables, 6) word which consisted of six syllables, and 7) word which consisted of sseven syllables. Nucleus (a, i, u, e, o), Onset (b, d, j, g, p, t, k, m, n, h, s, h, l, r), Code (p, t, k, m, n, h, s, l, r). Syllables based on vowel row were /-ao-/ and /-uae-/ and consonant row were /-rs-/ and /-nd-/.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio on stock prices, the effect of Firm Size on stock prices, the effect of Return On Equity on Stock Prices, the effect of Earning Per Share on Stock Prices, and the influence of Current Ratio, Firm Size, Return On Equity, and Earning Per Share simultaneously on stock prices in the 5 year period, 2014-2018. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive statistical analysis type. The population in this study amounted to 150 companies. This study uses financial statement data with time series for the last 5 years published from www.idx.co.id. In this study, the sample selection used purposive sampling technique. The sample of this study contained 49 companies in the last 5 years with a total sample quantity of 245 manufacturing companies. The results of this study indicate that partially Current Ratio and Return On Equity have no and insignificant effect on stock prices of manufacturing companies. Partially Firm Size and Earning Per Share have a positive and significant effect on stock prices of manufacturing companies. Meanwhile, the independent variable Current Ratio, Firm Size, Return On Equity, and Earning Per Share simultaneously have a significant effect on the variable stock price of manufacturing companies.

Abstract

The aim of this study to analyze the effectiveness of using Lectora based on Aceh culture on Linear Equation System Material. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research approach. The research design used was the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1) the results of the observation of the teacher's ability in managing learning were 83.92% with good categories; 2) the results of observations of student activities during the learning process were quite active with a percentage of 73.08%; 3) The results of the percentage of student response questionnaires were 51.67%, which means that most students responded well to the use of Aceh culture-based lectora media on the material of linear equation systems; 4) Statistical test with t test obtained t count = 30,11865 and t table = 1,729133 (  = 0,05), t count > t table means that the use of media is effectively used; and 5) Aceh Culture-Based Lectora Media is effectively used in learning linear equation systems. The results of the overall data analysis indicate that the use of Aceh Culture-Based Lectora is effective for student learning outcomes on linear equation material.

Abstract

There are many aspects and aspects that can become the standard for the success or failure of an educational process. This aspect is usually present in the teacher as mentor, teacher and also on the side of students. One aspect that can be a barrier to the success of students in absorbing subjects from the teacher is the factor of communication that is not working effectively. Communication is very important considering that the educational process is currently directed into a room filled by teachers and students. In such conditions a two-way communication pattern is required, in order to create optimal interaction in each face-to-face between teachers and students, so that educational goals can be achieved. This paper will discuss the significance of teacher communication and its effect on student interest in learning.
