Abstract

This article aims to analyze the interconnection between Islamic and conventional marketing in the context of Muhammadiyah Charity Business (AUM) in the health sector with a focus on the Referral and Information Management (MAMARUDI) program in the Islamic Hospital Cempaka Putih Jakarta. This research aims to understand how these two marketing approaches can work together to improve service quality and hospital competitiveness without ignoring Sharia principles, which are the main foundation of Muhammadiyah's Charity Business. With a qualitative approach, this research collects data through interviews, observations, and document analysis related to implementing the MAMARUDI program. The research results show that Islamic marketing, which focuses on honesty, can be combined with conventional marketing, which utilizes digital technology to expand reach and increase service efficiency. This interconnection increases patient confidence in hospital services and strengthens the reputation of the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital. This interconnection model offers an approach that can be applied in other Islamic health institutions to create professional services on Islamic values.

Abstract

Da'wah bil-hal or da'wah by action, effectively conveys Islamic values, especially in the orphanage environment. Al-Jihad Foundation Surabaya implements bil-hal da'wah through educational programs, skills, and social activities to shape the morals and independence of foster children. However, the success of this da'wah requires systematic and sustainable management. This research aims to analyze the application of the Deming Model or PDCA Cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Action) in the da'wah strategy at the Al-Jihad Foundation. This research uses a qualitative approach and semi-structured interviews with administrators, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observation, and literature study. This research used Thematic analysis to identify patterns in PDCA implementation. The research results show that PDCA helps foundations plan structured, consistent, periodic, and sustainable activities. The implementation of PDCA is proven to support the goals of da'wah bil hal, creating an environment conducive to developing children's morals and independence. Thus, PDCA effectively strengthens efforts to achieve da'wah goals systematically and optimally.

Abstract

Volunteerism plays a crucial role in enhancing youth participation in community service, but the roles of social influence and religiosity in shaping Generation Z's volunteer intentions remain underexplored. This study examines the impact of social influence and religiosity on Generation Z's volunteer intentions at Masjid Al Akbar, Surabaya. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and data from 104 respondents, the results show that social influence significantly affects volunteer intentions, with religiosity acting as a key mediator. The significant mediation effect reinforces how religious values amplify the influence of social networks. This research contributes to the development of social behavior and volunteerism theories, especially in religious contexts. The findings offer practical strategies for both religious and secular organizations to mobilize Generation Z, emphasizing the critical role of social and cultural factors in shaping volunteer behavior.
