EKOMABIS: Jurnal Ekonomi Manajemen Bisnis is a journal published twice a year (January and July) by LPPM Universitas Pelita Bangsa that focused on economics, management, and Business Studies. The aim of the journals is to disseminate the research in management studies that include marketing, finance, production, human resources, and strategic management. This journal did not give limitations on research methods, both of quantitative and qualitative can be accepted and the data from primary, secondary, and literature review. The decision for acceptance depends on double-blind review results.

Abstract

Orientasi kewirausahaan, kapabilitas dinamik, dan keunggulan kompetitif telah menjadi subjek penelitian yang menarik berkaitan dengan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian lingkungan eksternal. Implementasi dari ketiga variabel tersebut diharapkan mampu mendorong kinerja UMKM ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Dengan menggunakan perhitungan cluster random sampling, diperoleh jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 248 responden UMKM Binaan Kota Surabaya. Untuk menguji instrumen dan hipotesis, peneliti menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang berbasis varians yaitu Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kapabilitas dinamik dan keunggulan kompetitif tidak memediasi hubungan antara orientasi kewirausahaan dan kinerja UMKM di Kota Surabaya. Entrepreneurial orientation, dynamic capabilities, and competitive advantage have become interesting research subjects relating to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in facing external environmental uncertainty. The implementation of these three variables is expected to be able to push MSME performance to a higher level. By using cluster random sampling calculations, the number of samples in this study was 248 respondents from Surabaya City-assisted MSMEs. To test the instruments and hypotheses, researchers used variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, namely Partial Least Square (PLS) version 3.2.9. The results of this research indicate that dynamic capability and competitive advantage do not mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and MSME performance in the city of Surabaya.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memetakan karakteristik demografi pengguna uang elektronik di DKI Jakarta dan Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 214 responden pelaku usaha di DKI Jakarta dan Medan yang telah menggunakan uang elektronik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner dan dilakukan dengan tatap muka langsung. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk memetakan profil pengguna uang elektronik. Profil pelaku usaha di DKI Jakarta dan Medan yang berhasil diwawancarai didominasi oleh pelaku usaha berjenis kelamin laki-laki dengan usia lebih dari 35 tahun, menjalankan usahanya secara offline dan online, dan telah menggunakan uang elektronik selama 1 – 4 tahun. Kemudahan dalam bertransaksi menjadi faktor utama yang menjadi alasan para pelaku usaha menggunakan uang elektronik dalam bertransaksi dengan pelanggan. The aim of this research is to map the demographic characteristics of electronic money users in DKI Jakarta and Medan City. This research used 214 respondents from business actors in DKI Jakarta and Medan who have used electronic money. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument and was carried out face to face. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive statistics to map the profile of electronic money users. The profile of business actors in DKI Jakarta and Medan who succeeded interviewed was dominated by male business actors and those aged over 35 years. Business actors run their businesses offline and online. Most business actors have been using electronic money for 1 – 4 years. Ease of transactions is the main factor that driving the business actors to use electronic money in transactions with customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and rewards on job satisfaction throughpunishment as an intervening variable. This research applies the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) - Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis technique using the Smart PLS Version 3 tool in processing data obtained through distributing questionnaires to 314 employees of PT Suka Sukaku. The results showed that punishment has no significant effect on job satisfaction, giving fair awards has a positive impact on employee job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on punishment, awards have a significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction through punishment and awards have a significant effect on job satisfaction through punishment

Abstract

This study systematically examines the issues of patient flow and waiting times in the Cancer healthcare Santosa Hospital Bandung Kopo (SHBK) JKN outpatient department from a process perspective. Lean tools such as process mapping, A3 problem-solving sheets, and root cause analysis were employed to identify hidden process wastes and prolonged waiting times in the JKN outpatient department. The findings reveal that efficient registration of outpatient patients on-site, adequate number of oncologists, and the punctuality of the oncologists' practice schedules are critical for providing fast and accurate medical services. Implementing a lean framework can enhance the flow of JKN outpatients and the performance of the outpatient department. This study identifying quality issues in the outpatient department from a process perspective and recommending appropriate lean tools to further improve medical services. Implementing these strategies can boost the productivity and performance of healthcare institutions. Studi ini secara sistematis menyelidiki aliran pasien rawat jalan JKN dan masalah waktu tunggu di instalasi rawat jalan pada fasilitas layanan kesehatan Kanker di Santosa Hospital Bandung Kopo menggunakan perspektif suara proses. Alat lean seperti pemetaan proses, lembar pemecahan masalah A3, dan analisis akar penyebab digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan proses tersembunyi dan waktu tunggu yang lama di instalasi rawat jalan JKN. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa proses pendaftaran pasien rawat jalan di tempat, kecukupan jumlah dokter onkolog, dan jadwal praktek dokter onkolog yang tepat waktu menjadikan pelayanan lebih cepat dan akurat. Implementasi lean dapat meningkatkan aliran pasien dan kinerja instalasi rawat jalan JKN. Studi ini mengidentifikasi masalah kualitas instalasi rawat jalan dari perspektif suara proses dan menyarankan alat lean untuk meningkatkan pelayanan medis. Implementasi ini dapat membantu meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja fasilitas layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Profit control is an action taken by company management to change financial statements to make them appear more favourable to stakeholders. This is, of course, influenced by various factors, including internal factors as well as external factors. In this research, the author intends to analyse external factors using information asymmetry proxies for earnings management, while the internal factors that the author raises are corporate governance, or good corporate governance, as well as financial reports in the form of deferred tax expenses. This research aims to analyse the influence of information asymmetry, institutional ownership, size of the board of commissioners, and deferred tax burden on earnings management practices in the corporate context. This study uses financial data of companies listed on the stock exchange and performs statistical analysis to identify the relationship between the variables mentioned above and earnings management practices. The data used comes from a certain period, covering various industries. The data analysis method uses quantitative descriptive analysis, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicated that institutional ownership information asymmetry, deferred tax expense, and board size did not significantly affect earnings management, even though board size had a favourable and significant influence. The board of commissioners' size, however, has a favourable and noteworthy impact. At the same time, there is no discernible impact on earnings management from the knowledge asymmetry of institutional ownership, board size, or deferred tax expense.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak variasi produk terhadap pilihan jajanan kaki lima pengunjung (studi kasus Kota Pekanbaru). Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu seluruh konsumen street food yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode penentuan sampelnya adalah menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling (sengaja), dengan jumlah sebanyak 80 orang konsumen. Teknik pengambilan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian in yaitu menggunakan angket, wawancara atau interview, dan dengan dokumentasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif dan juga analisis SPSS 26. Hasil pada penelitian ini mengarah pada variasi produk memiliki pengaruh positif dan juga signifikan pada keputusan mengunjungi jajanan kaki lima di Kota Pekanbaru. The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of product variations on the choices of street food visitors (a case study in Pekanbaru City). The population in this study consists of consumers who frequently indulge in street food in Pekanbaru. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, where the sample is determined based on specific goals and considerations. The sample population comprises 80 individuals. Dataacollection techniques includeequestionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis methods employed in this research are descriptive analysis and SPSS 26 analysis. The results of this study indicate that product variations have a positive and significant influence on the decision to visit street food stalls in Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor niat beli kendaraan listrik pada Generasi Z melalui kerangka theory of planned behavior (TPB). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Solo raya dengan jumlah sampel 101 orang. Data diperoleh dengan menyebar kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa subjective norm berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli kendaraan listrik. Sedangkan attitude, perceived behavior control, environment concern, dan monetary incentive policy tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat beli kendaraan listrik. This study aims to analyze the factors of intention to purchase electric vehicles in Generation Z through the framework of the theory of planned behavior (TPB). This study was conducted in Greater Solo with a sample size of 101 people. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and analyzed using a Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The research results show that subjective norms have a positive effect on the intention to purchase an electric vehicle. Meanwhile, attitude, perceived behavioral control, environmental concern, and monetary incentive policies have no effect on the intention to purchase an electric vehicle.

Abstract

Mengetahui bagaimana keterlibatan karyawan memediasi hubungan antara kepuasan kerja, keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, dan kinerja merupakan tujuan utama riset ini. Obyek penelitian ini adalah karyawan Binaa Enterprise yang berjumlah 35 orang. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan metode survei yang memakai platform Google Form. Alat statistik SmartPLS dipakai dalam riset ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan dalam pekerjaan seseorang dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja yang sehat memengaruhi kinerja. Hasil positif terhadap kinerja dapat dicapai melalui keterlibatan karyawan, yang pada gilirannya memengaruhi kepuasan kerja dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja. Finding out how employee engagement mediates the relationship between job satisfaction, work-life balance, and performance is the primary goal of this research. The number of participants are 35 persons from Binaa Enterprise employer, who also made up the research population. Gathering information with a Google Form survey platform. The statistical tool SmartPLS is used in this investigation. The findings demonstrated that contentment in one's work and a healthy work-life balance affected performance. Positive results towards performance may be achieved via employee engagement, which in turn influences job satisfaction and work-life balance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel kompetensi teknis, motivasi kerja dan disiplin diri terhadap kinerja karyawan pada CV Mega Motor Cicurug. Subjek dari penelitian berjumlah 48 orang karyawan pada CV Mega Motor Cicurug. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel jenuh. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu aplikasi software IBM SPSS 25. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model yang layak dimana kompetensi teknis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Disiplin diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. This research aims to determine the effect of the technical competency, work motivation, and self-discipline variables on employee performance at CV Mega Motor Cicurug. The subjects of this research were 48 employees of CV Mega Motor Cicurug. Sampling was carried out using saturated samples. The analytical tool used in this research is the IBM SPSS 25 software application. The form of this research is descriptive and verification with a quantitative approach. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis methods. The research produces a feasible model where technical competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Self-discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
