Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the Auditory, Intellectualy, Repatition (AIR) learning model on the interest in learning science subjects in class III SDN 02 Banjaran. The background of this study was conducted to see whether there was an impact and change in the interest in learning science students in third grade SDN 02 Banjaran when the teacher used the Auditory, Intellectualy, Repatition (AIR) learning model. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research method used is the survey method, the techniques used are interviews and observations. The results of the study based on interviews and observations of teachers and students showed the impact of changes in interest in learning science subjects in weather material and their influence on third grade students of SDN 02 Banjaran when teachers in learning use Auditory, Intellectualy, Repatition (AIR) learning models.

Abstract

Ada beberapa hal yang menjadi sari dalam penelitian ini. Pertama, pemahaman wali kelas terhadap pengajaran pengayaan sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari jawaban yang memberikan gambaran bahwa wali kelas tersebut sudah mampu memahami dengan baik tentang pengajaran pengayaan. Kedua, pelaksanaan pengajaran pengayaan khususnya siswa yang memiliki prestasi belajar di kelas III/A SD Lab. Undiksha Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2018 /2019 telah berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan prosedur pelaksanaan pengajaran pengayaan dalam Kurikulum 2013. Ketiga, masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam melaksanakan pengajaran pengayaan pada Kurikulum 2013 di Kelas III/A SD Lab Undiksha Singaraja, yaitu (1) perbedaan karakteristik siswa, (2) perbedaan minat dan bakat, dan (3) masalah sulitnya guru dalam mengatur jam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of guided inquiry based on local wisdom on students cticical thinking skills in the theme of my hero in grade IV elementary school. The type of research used is the experiment with the Pretest Posttest Only Group Design. The sample in this study was grade IV elementary school in Undaan district, Kudus district. The instrument used are tests and observation and documentation. The results of this sudy indicate that: 1) the model of guided inquiry based on local wisdom is effective to improve critical thinking skills in the theme of my hero class IV elementary school rather than guided inquiry models. This is evidenced by the results of the mean value of guided inquiry models based on local wisdom rather than guided inquiry models (76,55 bigger than 67,94), 2) there is a significant effect of students critical thinking skills between the model of guided inquiry based on local wisdom and the guided inqiry model. This is evidenced by the results of t caount bigger than t table (2,757 bigger than 2, 002) and smaller significance value with a significance level of 5% (p = 0,010 bigger than 0,05).
