Abstract

This training was held starting with a request to the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the Indonesian Cooperative University from the Primary Management of the Kartika D09 Cooperative, Yogyakarta City, to provide understanding to members and administrators regarding how members can better understand cooperatives, their rights and obligations as members, while for administrators to better understand cooperative governance so they are able to serve members effectively and efficiently. From this request, LPPM assigns lecturers who have competencies in the desired field to be trained. Due to technical obstacles related to the time and place of implementation, in order to continue to be carried out effectively and efficiently, the training uses online methods with the zoom meeting platform. The training was attended by members and administrators and the material was provided by an instructor who had received an official letter of assignment from LPPM. Cooperative management carried out by management and supervised by supervisors must refer to the implementation of cooperative principles. There are seven principles of cooperatives, namely membership is voluntary and open; management is carried out democratically; distribution of remaining business results is carried out fairly and in proportion to the amount of service of each member; limited compensation for capital; independence; cooperative education and cooperation between cooperatives. It is hoped that increasing understanding of cooperatives will increase member participation. Member participation consists in particular in utilizing cooperative services, which will increase income so that it is hoped that it can encourage the creation of greater residual business results which will then be allocated for the welfare of members as well. The welfare of members can be measured in units of economic benefit if members utilize cooperative services. There are benefits obtained when carrying out transactions, namely the existence of profitable price differences and welfare obtained from the distribution of remaining business results carried out by the cooperative when it obtains a surplus from its business activities. Measuring the benefits or welfare of members will be different for each type of cooperative.

The Cooperative Budget and Expenditure Plan (RAPBK) is an important instrument for risk control, strategic planning and financial management. The aim and objective of this technical guidance is so that participants can prepare and implement the RAPBK properly and correctly, because the preparation and implementation of a good RABK is very important for the success and sustainability of cooperatives so that they can ensure cooperative operations run efficiently, increase transparency, and achieve their long-term goals better. effective. The method of providing technical guidance for preparing RAPBK for ASN of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs is through various steps, namely planning activities, coordinating interested parties, preparing teaching materials, implementing and supervising technical guidance so that it is in accordance with planning. Transparency and accountability ensure that cooperative financial management is open and responsible. Transparency allows members to access relevant information and understand how cooperative funds are used, while accountability ensures that administrators are responsible for managing funds and implementing budget plans in accordance with member mandates. Building trust, ensuring good financial management, and maintaining company sustainability depend on these two principles.

Abstract

Surplus (SHU) is the cooperative's net income from business activities carried out within one year. SHU is a form of indirect economic benefit (METL) that a cooperative can create for its members, which is a reflection of members' transaction contributions to one or more cooperative business units. As an indirect economic benefit, cooperatives generally have written provisions (as outlined in the cooperative's Articles of Association and Bylaws) regarding the distribution of Cooperative SHU, which, among other things, consists of SHU for Members, Management and Supervisory Funds, Work Area Development Funds, Reserve Funds. , Education Funds, expressed in percent; However, this is not the case with determining the member's share SHU calculation formula, namely the formula for determining how much SHU will be received by each member of the cooperative. The formula for determining the SHU that is part of each member is something that is considered important and necessary, because it is the main characteristic of the cooperative, in this case showing how much the cooperative's ability to create METL for its members. Determination of the SHU formula for members' shares is an embodiment of one of the principles of cooperatives, namely that the distribution of Surplus (SHU) is carried out fairly in accordance with the services or contributions of each member in utilizing cooperative business services. Thus, the formula used to calculate the SHU amount for each member must truly show fairness, which is based on the size of the member's contribution in utilizing one or several cooperative business units. To ensure fairness in determining the formula for calculating members' share of SHU, cooperatives absolutely must have records of member transactions in all the business units they run. Member transaction data is used to calculate the amount of contribution of each member to the cooperative business unit. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to increase the Management's understanding of the importance of distributing SHU fairly to each member, and for this reason the cooperative's readiness is required to record all transactions in each business unit it runs; Accuracy of member transaction data will ensure fairness and increase members' trust in the cooperative.

Abstract

The assistance provided to the Visiana Bhakti Multi-Business Cooperative aims to increase productivity through the implementation of digitalization. By utilizing information and communication technology, cooperative management can be carried out more effectively and efficiently. Digitalization is expected to improve service quality, speed up business processes, and increase efficiency in cooperative management. To support this, an analysis of the results of observations was first carried out to see the problems experienced by the cooperative. Observation results show that this cooperative has not fully implemented digitalization, especially in shop units which still use manual methods for recording sales, so that errors often occur in preparing financial reports. Based on discussions with the cooperative management, it was agreed that digitalization would be implemented immediately. This digitalization process is going well, especially with the implementation of applications Point of Sale (cashier) at the cooperative. Several areas have been identified that require improvement so that digitalization can run consistently and sustainably, so that cooperatives can continue to develop.

Abstract

Praktik Lapang (field practice) activities at the Primary Cooperative of Tempeh and Tofu Producers (Primkopti) Sleman aim to deepen students' understanding of the cooperative's identity concept and its implementation in the management of the cooperative organization and its business activities. The field practice results identified four problems: ineffective and inaccurate manual financial report recording, unsystematic meeting documentation, a non-compliant organizational structure with legal regulations, and the management's lack of knowledge about members' satisfaction with cooperative services. Based on the problems, the writers conducted some activities 1) the development of an Excel-based computerized accounting system, 2) the digital recording of cooperative management meetings for efficient decision-making, 3) the arrangement and printing of an organizational structure banner, and 4) the development of a customer satisfaction questionnaire to improve service quality and member satisfaction.
