Abstract

This article aims to describe and determine the value of moderation and the implementation of the value of moderation in Islamic education at the Al-Fattah Siman Islamic Boarding School Sekaran Lamongan. This article uses a descriptive qualitative research design. The study’s data collection methods were interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the research on the implementation of moderation values ​​in Islamic education at the Al-Fattah Siman Islamic Boarding School Sekaran Lamongan show that; 1) Understanding the values ​​of moderation in Islamic education is the basis for the formation of the character of the santri who in practice adheres to the principles of Ahlussunnah waljama’ah understanding with a tendency to moderation or wasaţiyyah through understanding Aqedah, sharia. or worship and morality. 2) The implementation of moderation values ​​in Islamic education is carried out in several stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. 3) The implementation of the values ​​of moderation in Islamic education at the Al-Fattah Siman Islamic Boarding School Sekaran Lamongan is applied to three activities, namely teaching and learning activities, religious-spiritual activities, and skills supporting activities; 4) The implementation of moderate values ​​in Islamic education uses four strategies, namely introduction, habituation, example, and practice; 5) Evaluation of the implementation of moderation values ​​in Islamic education is divided into three forms, namely program evaluation, evaluation of the learning process and evaluation of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Optimizing Islamic education plays an important role in preparing Indonesian citizens to excel in quality in terms of education in welcoming Indonesia's golden era. Optimizing education leads to maximizing human resources, especially for school students. They are the main encouragement during the golden era because they are entering a productive period. This article aims to provide an understanding of how important educational factors are in preparing for the golden age of Indonesia by analyzing the urgency and designing the steps to be used. This study uses the library research method, using pragmatic content analysis, thematic content analysis, analysis of sign means, continued by processing it into new data where the results of this study are the exposure of optimizing education to reach the golden era of Indonesia from reviewing and analyzing and integrating various related reference sources.

Abstract

Leadership in the organizational culture of pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) has characteristics following the pesantren culture and prevailing religious values. As the pesantren leader, Kiai leads in a charismatic style that is full of authority and responsibility. This study aims to review the leadership of the Kiai in the organizational culture of the pesantren. It was assessed by using a library research model. The results showed that the administration of the Kiai had a significant influence on the achievement of the goals of the pesantren. Leadership values ​​are expected to be passed down from generation to generation to future leaders. The leadership of a Kiai and the culture of the Islamic boarding school are two things that influence each other. The Kiai's task as the pesantren leader is to form a personal commitment to the pesantren as an Islamic educational institution. A Kiai must maintain the culture or culture of the Islamic boarding school that has been preserved for centuries.

Abstract

This article describes the planning and implementation of online-based exam evaluations in Islamic Religious Education Learning at the Nahdlatul Ulama 05 Brangsong High School. This article uses qualitative research with a case study approach. For data collection, researchers used observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of this article are Planning for online-based assessment evaluation in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMA NU 05 Brangsong, (1) Planning in general (a) Preparation of school work programs, (b) Formation of an exam committee, (c) Preparing equipment both hardware and software. (2) Planning specifically, namely by (a) determining goals, (b) identifying student abilities, (c) compiling question grids and question cards, (d) making questions, (e) evaluation and analysis, (f) revision and creating new questions. Implementation of online-based exam evaluation in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMA NU 05 Brangsong, (1) implementation of pre-exams (2) Preparation and preparation of test schedules, (3) Division of test rooms, (4) Installing applications. Implementation of the assessment, (5) fill in the username and password, (6) do the questions, (7) end the test.

Abstract

Research on multiple intelligences has been growing for the last three decades, however, the ones on interpersonal intelligence still need more investigation. This case study explored the development of Islamic school learners’ interpersonal intelligence fostered by religious extracurricular activities. It also sought the factors inhibiting the development of intelligence. The participants of the study were a school principal, vice-principal, extracurricular coach, and three teachers and students at a secondary Islamic school. Data were collected through interviews and observation. The data were then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings revealed that joining religious extracurricular helped learners grow the characters of discipline, self-confidence, empathy or caring, politeness, and togetherness. Meanwhile, factors that inhibit the development of students’ interpersonal intelligence were the influence of surrounding people and gadgets (technology).

Abstract

This article discussed the perceptions of Muslim thinkers on the Quran and tafsir in terms of both the classic and modern eras. However, the article is subjected to the analytical comparison between the classical and modern eras of Qur’anic exegesis. Throughout the research about these thoughts, the root-age of tafsir with the approach of the interpreters and the Islamic thinkers will gain special attention. To establish adequate information in the study, a clear picture of the exegetical thoughts with the several perceptions of classical and modernist thinkers is drawn accordingly. However, in enabling this projected idea to reach the target area, the research adopted the following analytical method, reviewing the available literature; such as books, articles, journals, and the dissertation, which may have a direct or indirect connection to this research. Nevertheless, the noble Qur’an is quite recognized as a book representing the first source of evidence in Islam; many perceptions may be established in the course of striving to gain its exegetical expression. So, this article has drawn a straight line to reach the efforts of Muslim thinkers in both the late and current era to protect the sacred book (Qur’an) with their noble knowledge of Qur’anic exegesis.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the importance of improving tolerance values in senior high schools. What is the Islamic Religious Education Teacher's Strategy for fostering Tolerance Character? The research method that has been used is qualitative with a case study approach. The choice of research place is based on the fact that Daruttaqwa Gresik High School is a multicultural-based school that accepts students from various aspects. Data analysis techniques by following the Huberman model. The findings of this study are The initial step in fostering tolerance values at Daruttaqwa Gresik High School involves careful planning from PAI teachers. This planning includes developing teaching strategies and combining methods and techniques that are tailored to educational goals. In addition, this planning also includes preparing learning materials, gathering educational resources, and designing evaluations to measure students' understanding of the subject matter. The culmination of these efforts results in a comprehensive lesson plan.
