FOCUS AND SCOPE Enggang adalah jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Enggang dipilih sebagai nama jurnal ini karena kehidupan masyarakat Kalimantan Tengah tidak jauh dari alam, termasuk kedekatannya pada burung yang bernama enggang. Burung enggang merupakan simbol kebesaran dan kemuliaan suku Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Burung enggang juga melambangkan perdamaian dan persatuan, sayapnya yang tebal melambangkan pemimpin yang selalu melindungi rakyatnya. Ekor panjangnya dianggap sebagai tanda kemakmuran rakyat suku Dayak. Kaitannya dengan jurnal ini, tidak lain adalah mengambil makna filosofis kebesaran burung enggang agar jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya ini, nantinya menjadi besar yang akan dikenal secara lokal, nasional, dan internasional. Jurnal Enggang sebagai jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya merupakan salah satu wadah untuk mengumpulkan dan melestarikan kekayaan kita yang tidak ternilai harganya. Tentunya kekayaan yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Jurnal ini hadir untuk siapa saja yang mencintai dan ingin berkarya di bidang pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Selain itu, kami sebagai pengurus jurnal ini bersedia memberikan bimbingan dan pelatihan untuk siapa saja yang ingin maju dan berkompeten dalam hal menulis karya fiksi maupun nonfiksi. Melalui bimbingan dan pelatihan pasti gairah menulis para calon pendidik, para pendidik, dan para pecinta pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya bangkit dengan semangat membara. This research aims at revealing human righteousness and cruelty in Sewell’s Black Beauty. This study is regarded as qualitative research that pictures the data in the form of words and quotations. The writer collects and selects the data from the primary source, the novel itself, and the secondary source, which includes books explaining research, literature, and some other references that are relevant and support the analysis. In analyzing the data, the writer uses an objective approach that focuses on the work itself. The writer focuses on human characters in treating the animals. The result shows that humans have their own ways of treating horses. There are kind humans who treat them rightly, feed them properly, and are kind to them. But still, there are unkind humans who have bad tempers and treat these horses cruelly, torture them, and even hurt them in the name of fashion. Sometimes the horses meet kind masters and also bad masters, especially the main character in this story, Black Beauty. At the end of the story, he becomes a tough, handsome, and good horse and meets a kind master who treats the old beauty. Kindly and wisely.

The aim of this research is to explore the impact of using the learning media video public service advertisement "Fruit and Vegetable Consumption Education" on the development of speaking skills of mentally retarded students at SLB N Brebes. This research adopted a quasi-experimental design approach, where there was a control class that underwent conventional learning and an experimental class that implemented learning using the video learning media of public service advertisements "Fruit and Vegetable Consumption Education". Data was collected through oral speaking skills tests before and after treatment. The results of this research show that the public service advertisement video learning media "Fruit and Vegetable Consumption Education" significantly improves students' speaking skills compared to conventional learning. Students who engage in learning using this method achieve greater improvements in indicators such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Thus, the learning media of the public service advertisement video "Fruit and Vegetable Consumption Education" has an effect on the speaking skills of mentally retarded students.

The term implementation is usually associated with an activity, which is carried out to achieve certain goals. Discussion is a group activity of a group of students, talking to each other, exchanging information and opinions about a topic or problem, where each child wants to find answers / solutions to problems from all existing aspects and possibilities. Learning motivation is "the overall driving force within the student that provides direction to learning activities, so that the goals desired by the learning subject can be achieved. Motivation to learn in a person will create passion and enthusiasm for learning, and make a person interested in learning, so that they will want to learn continuously. The history of Islamic culture is a science that studies the work, tastes and creations of Muslim people in the past in social, cultural, economic, political and other forms of life. MAN 5 Kediri is the youngest MAN in Kediri Regency, East Java. Officially founded in 2009 under the name MAN Kandat. The aim of this research is to find out how the discussion method is implemented in SKI subjects at MAN 5 Kediri where SKI lessons are less popular with students because they are seen as complementary subjects. The focus of this research is class X MAN 5 Kediri. This research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Observation, interview and documentation collection techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the research show that the discussion method using the syndicate group method in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) class . However, the weakness is that it is less motivating for students in social studies classes 2, 3, 4 because from the initial screening, these children are also lacking in interest, academics and IQ. The majority of them come from families with poor economic conditions, children from broken homes and children who lack parental attention

State defense awareness is an important aspect of maintaining the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. In Papua, Pancasila values and local customs have a central role in building this awareness. The core of the research is to explore how Pancasila values are integrated with Papuan local wisdom to strengthen state defense awareness. The method in this research is a qualitative study combined with an ethnographic approach to understand the interaction between Pancasila values and Papuan customs. The results show that strengthening state defense awareness in Papua can be achieved through education based on local values and Pancasila, as well as active community participation in protecting culture and the environment.

Based on initial observations before conducting the research, the researcher found that teachers had not been using learning media. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of interactive media usage as a learning source in Bahasa Indonesia learning, specifically focusing on the topic of wise money usage, for Grade II-A students at SDN 6 Menteng. The method used in this research is an experimental research method. The design employed in this study is the One-group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pre-tests and post-tests were used to determine students' learning outcomes, which consisted of fill-in-the-blank questions. Then, the data were analyzed using the t-test for two means to determine the research results. Based on the calculation results, the average pre-test score was 54.5, and the average post-test score was 79.5, with a difference of 25 between the average pre-test and post-test scores. From the t-test for two means, the obtained t-value was 5.554, and the t-table value was 1.729 with a significance level of 5% and degrees of freedom (df) = 19. The criteria for the hypothesis were that the calculated t-value was greater than the table t-value, thus rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of using interactive learning media on the learning outcomes of Grade II-A students at SDN 6 Menteng in Bahasa Indonesia learning, specifically on the topic of wise money usage.
