FOCUS AND SCOPE Enggang adalah jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Enggang dipilih sebagai nama jurnal ini karena kehidupan masyarakat Kalimantan Tengah tidak jauh dari alam, termasuk kedekatannya pada burung yang bernama enggang. Burung enggang merupakan simbol kebesaran dan kemuliaan suku Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Burung enggang juga melambangkan perdamaian dan persatuan, sayapnya yang tebal melambangkan pemimpin yang selalu melindungi rakyatnya. Ekor panjangnya dianggap sebagai tanda kemakmuran rakyat suku Dayak. Kaitannya dengan jurnal ini, tidak lain adalah mengambil makna filosofis kebesaran burung enggang agar jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya ini, nantinya menjadi besar yang akan dikenal secara lokal, nasional, dan internasional. Jurnal Enggang sebagai jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya merupakan salah satu wadah untuk mengumpulkan dan melestarikan kekayaan kita yang tidak ternilai harganya. Tentunya kekayaan yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Jurnal ini hadir untuk siapa saja yang mencintai dan ingin berkarya di bidang pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Selain itu, kami sebagai pengurus jurnal ini bersedia memberikan bimbingan dan pelatihan untuk siapa saja yang ingin maju dan berkompeten dalam hal menulis karya fiksi maupun nonfiksi. This article discusses the role of social media in increasing the popularity of Javanese music among the younger generation, against the backdrop of concerns about the decline of local culture amidst the dominance of global culture. The viral phenomenon of Javanese songs such as Satru, Widodari, and Sinarengan is an entry point to understand how local content is able to gain a place in digital popular culture. This study aims to analyze how the younger generation uses social media as a means to disseminate Javanese music and how this process contributes to the preservation and transformation of traditional culture. The method used is a literature study, by reviewing various sources such as scientific articles, online media reports, and relevant digital content. The results of the study show that the combination of Javanese lyrics and a modern presentation style is the main attraction that is able to reach a wider audience. The younger generation is not only a passive consumer, but also acts as a producer of culture by making song covers, short videos on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, and creating new digital trends. This practice reflects a culture that is increasingly prominent in the era of social media. The role of social media has been proven to be significant in popularizing Javanese music, expanding its reach and making it part of the digital identity of the younger generation. This phenomenon shows that Javanese music is not only able to survive, but also develop through creativity that is relevant to the lifestyle of today's young generation.

The Korean Wave (Hallyu) has become a global cultural phenomenon that significantly influences various aspects of society, including in Indonesia. One cultural element that has gained increasing popularity along with the rise of the Korean Wave is the hanbok, the traditional clothing of South Korea. This study aims to examine the contribution of the Korean Wave to the growing popularity of hanbok in Indonesia, particularly among younger generations. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using a literature study approach, by collecting and analyzing data from various scholarly sources, cultural articles, official event reports, and relevant social media content. The results show that the Korean Wave has played a major role in introducing hanbok through popular media, such as Korean historical dramas, K-pop music videos, and cultural diplomacy programs like the Hanbok Experience. Hanbok is now perceived not only as a traditional garment but also as part of a global lifestyle and a symbol of Korean cultural identity admired by Indonesian society. In conclusion, the Korean Wave has made a significant contribution in shaping positive perceptions, increasing interest, and expanding the use of hanbok in Indonesia within the context of contemporary popular culture.

The progress of the world in the era of modernization over time has a negative effect on the preservation of the Indonesian culture which can damage the preservation of culture and existing cultural values. The development of science and technology followed by the era of modernization that attacks the Indonesian culture has an impact on the people so that they are easily attracted to foreign cultures. By using qualitative research methods followed by literature studies, this explanation was created to explain the position of cultural and citizenship literacy in order to preserve the culture in Indonesia in the era of modernization. This can be applied by implementing cultural and citizenship literacy universally in the community environment and educational institutions. With this, the preservation of the Indonesian culture is maintained. The value of the Indonesian culture must be implemented in the real world and defended, because it is a symbol of the Indonesian state that remains.

This research aims to analyze the vital role of librarians in the digital era, particularly at the Idrisiyyah Dikti Library. The applied method is descriptive and collects data through various techniques, including literature studies, observations, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that librarians play a crucial role in educating users to effectively utilize digital technology. Additionally, librarians contribute to the innovation of library services, although they still face challenges in the public's understanding of digital collections. Recommendations from this research include the need for sustainable policy support to enhance librarians' capacity and strengthen the evaluation system in the implementation of library services, thereby achieving better educational outcomes.

Mastering Vocabulary played a pivotal role in learning English, as it comprised a collection of words that, when used, construct meaningful sentences. Consequently, the more words a student masters, the more effortlessly they could construct sentences and effectively communicate their thoughts. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of use of flashcards in improving student vocabulary and to find out the use of flashcards can provide a significant difference in the mastery of vocabulary of students who use flashcards and those who do not use flashcards among 8th grade students of SMP 38 Palembang. The quantitative technique was used for this study research. The sample of this research VIII.5 and VIII.6 class, each class consisted of 34 students, with a total sample of 68 students. Additionally, the result of an independent sample t-test revealed that at a significance level of 0,05, t-obtained was 6,320 > t-table (df=66) was 1,997. It denoted that experimental and control group means significantly differed. After having the results of the t-test it can be concluded that team- assisted individualization was useful and applicable for enhancing students’ mastery of English vocabulary among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 38 Palembang.

This study aims to explain the social pathology contained in novels that contain various kinds of bullying carried out by characters. This study will focus on (1) the study of literary sociology in the novel Unfamiliar Twins by Kades Pingetania with social pantology (2) the relationship between the study of literary sociology in the novel Unfamiliar Twins by Kades Pingetania with social pathology (3) the use of the novel Unfamiliar Twins by Kades Pingetania as learning material for Indonesian literature in high school. This research is a qualitative research to see various social pathologies in the novel Unfamiliar Twins by Kades Pingetania by analyzing the novel. The results of this analysis will be related to the types of bullying found in the novel Unfamiliar Twins by Kades Pingetania, namely: 1) bullying, 2) sexual harassment, 3) juvenile delinquency, and 4) cyberbullying and to real life and can be used as a reference to be used as teaching material in class XII.

The problem found in this research is that the bowling educational game tool used to stimulate the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years has not been realized. The formulation in this research is 1) What is the level of validity of APE Bowling to stimulate the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years at Kindergarten Nasrani 2 Medan? 2) What is the level of practicality of APE Bowling to stimulate the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years at Christian Kindergarten 2 Medan? . This research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The method used in this research is using a questionnaire method. The results of the development research show that the material expert validator's assessment received a score of 93% so that the assessment achieved by the material expert can be said to be "very valid" while the average media expert validator assessment received a score of 80%, so that the media expert's assessment can be said to be "decent". and the assessment from educational practitioners is 98% which can be said to be "very practical". So by using the educational bowling game tool that has been developed, it can stimulate the recognition of number symbols 1-10 in children aged 4-5 years so that the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4- 5 years old at Kindergarten Nasrani-2 Medan, totaling 12 people, of which 5 boys and 7 girls increased.

In order to improve the quality and quality of a learning process contained in the process standards, there must be an assessment. The aim of this research is to: 1) describe the evaluation of learning planning at SMP Negeri 3 Semarang using procedural text material; 2) describe the evaluation of learning implementation at SMP Negeri 3 Semarang using procedural text material; 3) describe the evaluation results as a quality assurance system. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, the data source from this research is the teaching module for writing procedural texts written by Mohamad Agus Setiono Class VII Phase D SMP Negeri 3 Semarang and learning videos that have been made using the help of assessment instruments. The steps in data analysis are as follows: 1) read the entire teaching module and watch the video of the learning implementation until completion; 2) analyze using APKG the assessment instrument for planning and implementing learning; 3) assign a score and provide additional evaluation. The results of this research. The evaluation results on learning planning taken from various aspects of assessment can be found to be 77.5%. Next, calculating the results of the learning implementation assessment score was found to be 70%, so it fell into the sufficient scale category. To ensure the quality and quality of learning to write procedural texts, there are several evaluation inputs that can be considered to be implemented in the learning process. The method used should use the Citizen Procedure method.

Some people have a bad view of friendship between men. Even though many of them have closeness just to share stories and problems that cannot be told to their partners. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of bromance representation contained in the novel Dikta dan Hukum by Dhia'an Farah using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. This is done to analyze the meaning of a quote that represents a picture of closeness among men and then relates it to phenomena in society. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques, data analysis techniques in the form of work analysis. The results of the study show that the forms of bromance include: mutual affection, emotional support, protection, and pleasure in each other's presence.

The aim of this research is to explain the implementation of differentiated strategies in learning Indonesian biographical text material for class X SMA. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to obtain research data in the form of information regarding the application of differentiated strategies in learning biographical text material. This research involved Indonesian language subject teachers as research respondents. Research data was obtained through observation and interviews with respondents. This research uses interview guides and observation guides as research instruments. The research results show that the implementation of differentiated strategies in learning biographical text material at Ta'allumul Huda Bumiayu Islamic High School has been implemented well. The application of differentiated learning that is carried out includes three components, including differentiation of content, process and product components. The implementation of differentiated learning has been proven to be able to increase students' motivation in participating in learning activities.
