Abstract

ABSTRACT Dribbling ability is one of the essential skills in futsal because it is closely related to ball control, change of direction, and the player’s ability to create attacking space in fast-paced game situations. The problem identified among the futsal players of SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari was that their dribbling ability was still not optimal, particularly in maintaining ball control and changing direction within limited space. This study aimed to analyze the effect of gated obstacle and stair step roll drill training on the dribbling ability of futsal players. The study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 14 extracurricular futsal players selected through purposive sampling and divided into two treatment groups. The research instrument used was a dribbling ability test measured in seconds. The training program was conducted for four weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired sample t-test. The results showed that both gated obstacle and stair step roll drill training had a significant effect on improving the dribbling ability of futsal players. Obstacle-based training tended to be more effective in improving change of direction and movement efficiency, while sole roll-based training was more supportive of ball control and foot-touch coordination. These findings indicate that training methods specifically designed according to the characteristics of futsal can be used as alternative technical dribbling training programs at the high school level. ABSTRAK Kemampuan dribbling merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting dalam permainan futsal karena berkaitan dengan kontrol bola, perubahan arah, dan kemampuan pemain menciptakan ruang serangan pada situasi permainan cepat. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada pemain futsal SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari adalah kemampuan dribbling yang belum optimal, terutama dalam menjaga kontrol bola dan melakukan perubahan arah pada ruang sempit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan gated obstacle dan stair step roll drill terhadap kemampuan dribbling pemain futsal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen melalui desain two group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 14 pemain ekstrakurikuler futsal yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok perlakuan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes kemampuan dribbling dalam satuan detik. Perlakuan latihan dilaksanakan selama empat minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali pertemuan setiap minggu. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan gated obstacle dan stair step roll drill sama-sama memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan dribbling pemain futsal. Latihan berbasis rintangan cenderung lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan perubahan arah dan efisiensi gerak, sedangkan latihan berbasis sole roll lebih mendukung kontrol bola dan koordinasi sentuhan kaki. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan yang bersifat spesifik terhadap karakter permainan futsal dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif program latihan teknik dribbling pada tingkat sekolah menengah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Motor skills are an important aspect of physical education because they are closely related to movement ability, participation in physical activities, and the physical development of elementary school children. The lack of variation in learning activities may cause students to be less physically active, resulting in suboptimal motor skill development. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the slag ball game on improving the motor skills of students at SDN 3 Kebon Ayu in 2025. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 40 students divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 20 students in each group. The experimental group received slag ball game treatment for eight weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week, while the control group participated in regular learning activities without special treatment. Motor skill measurement was conducted using the Movement Assessment Battery for Children-Second Edition (MABC-2), which includes manual dexterity, aiming and catching, and balance components. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The results showed that the slag ball game significantly improved students’ motor skills compared to conventional learning activities. The game activities involving running, throwing, catching, hitting, and maintaining balance provided more active and structured movement experiences for elementary school students. ABSTRAK Keterampilan motorik merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan jasmani karena berkaitan dengan kemampuan gerak, partisipasi aktivitas fisik, serta perkembangan fisik anak sekolah dasar. Rendahnya variasi aktivitas pembelajaran dapat menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif bergerak sehingga perkembangan keterampilan motoriknya belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh permainan bola bakar terhadap peningkatan keterampilan motorik siswa SDN 3 Kebon Ayu tahun 2025. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental melalui desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 siswa yang dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen, masing-masing terdiri atas 20 siswa. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh perlakuan berupa permainan bola bakar selama delapan minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mengikuti pembelajaran biasa tanpa perlakuan khusus. Pengukuran keterampilan motorik menggunakan instrumen Movement Assessment Battery for Children-Second Edition (MABC-2) yang meliputi aspek manual dexterity, aiming and catching, dan balance. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, paired sample t-test, dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan bola bakar mampu meningkatkan keterampilan motorik siswa secara signifikan dibandingkan pembelajaran biasa. Aktivitas permainan yang melibatkan gerak berlari, melempar, menangkap, memukul, dan menjaga keseimbangan memberikan pengalaman gerak yang lebih aktif dan terstruktur bagi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low accuracy of back serve skills among sepak takraw extracurricular participants at SMAN 1 Plampang, as indicated by inaccurate service direction, balls going out of bounds, and serves that were easily anticipated by opponents. The study aimed to analyze the effect of pecing pad training and peer-toss training, the effect of leg length, and the interaction between both variables on back serve accuracy in sepak takraw. The study employed a quasi-experimental method using a 2×2 factorial design. The sample consisted of 24 sepak takraw extracurricular participants who were divided into four treatment groups based on training model and leg length category. The research instruments included a leg length measurement test and a back serve accuracy test with 20 serving attempts. Data were analyzed using normality testing, homogeneity testing, two-way ANOVA, and Tukey’s post hoc test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that peer-toss training produced greater improvement in back serve accuracy compared to pecing pad training. Participants with longer legs also demonstrated better serve performance than those with shorter legs. In addition, there was a significant interaction between training model and leg length on back serve accuracy. These findings indicate that dynamic training methods are more effective in improving motor adaptation and serve accuracy when adjusted to participants’ anthropometric characteristics. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya ketepatan servis punggung peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak takraw SMAN 1 Plampang yang ditunjukkan melalui kesalahan arah servis, bola keluar lapangan, dan servis yang mudah diantisipasi lawan. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh latihan pecing pad dan lambungan teman, pengaruh panjang tungkai, serta interaksi kedua variabel terhadap ketepatan servis punggung sepak takraw. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan rancangan faktorial 2×2. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 24 peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak takraw yang dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok perlakuan berdasarkan model latihan dan kategori panjang tungkai. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes pengukuran panjang tungkai dan tes ketepatan servis punggung dengan 20 kesempatan servis. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, analisis varians dua jalur (two way ANOVA), dan uji lanjut Tukey pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan lambungan teman memberikan peningkatan ketepatan servis yang lebih baik dibandingkan latihan pecing pad. Peserta dengan tungkai panjang juga menunjukkan hasil servis yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan peserta bertungkai pendek. Selain itu, ditemukan adanya interaksi antara model latihan dan panjang tungkai terhadap ketepatan servis punggung. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan dengan karakter dinamis lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan adaptasi gerak dan akurasi servis apabila disesuaikan dengan karakteristik antropometri peserta.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Passing accuracy is one of the most important technical components in futsal because the game is characterized by fast, dynamic play and requires precise decision-making in limited spaces. Based on observations of players at the MTs Negeri 1 Mataram Futsal Club, the players’ passing ability was still not optimal, particularly in terms of directional accuracy and passing consistency during play. This study aimed to analyze the effect of active triangle and quadrilateral passing drills on improving the passing accuracy of futsal players. The study employed an experimental method using a two groups pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 players divided into two groups using the ordinal pairing technique. The first group received triangle-pattern drills, while the second group received quadrilateral-pattern drills for 16 treatment sessions. Data were collected using a passing accuracy test and analyzed through descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The results indicated that both training models significantly improved the players’ passing accuracy. The quadrilateral drill showed a higher descriptive improvement than the triangle drill, although the final comparison test between groups revealed no significant difference. These findings indicate that active passing drills based on game patterns are effective for improving basic futsal technical skills among school-age players. ABSTRAK Akurasi passing menjadi salah satu komponen teknik yang sangat penting dalam permainan futsal karena karakter permainan berlangsung cepat, dinamis, dan menuntut pengambilan keputusan secara tepat dalam ruang yang terbatas. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada pemain Club Futsal MTs Negeri 1 Mataram, kemampuan passing pemain masih belum optimal, terutama pada ketepatan arah dan konsistensi operan saat bermain. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh latihan passing aktif pola segitiga dan segiempat terhadap peningkatan akurasi passing pemain futsal. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain two groups pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 pemain yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok menggunakan teknik ordinal pairing. Kelompok pertama memperoleh latihan pola segitiga, sedangkan kelompok kedua memperoleh latihan pola segiempat selama 16 kali perlakuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes akurasi passing, kemudian dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, paired sample t-test, dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua model latihan memberikan peningkatan signifikan terhadap akurasi passing pemain futsal. Latihan pola segiempat menunjukkan peningkatan deskriptif lebih tinggi dibandingkan pola segitiga, meskipun hasil uji perbedaan akhir antar kelompok tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan passing aktif berbasis pola permainan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas teknik dasar futsal pada pemain usia sekolah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The sepak sila ability of extracurricular sepak takraw participants still needs to be improved because this technique plays an important role in receiving the ball, controlling the game, providing passes, and maintaining rallies during matches. This study aimed to analyze the effect of bounce kick ball and juggling exercises on the sepak sila ability of sepak takraw extracurricular participants at SMA Islam Al-Ikhwan Sesait, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency, in 2022. The study employed a quasi-experimental method using a pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. The sample consisted of 20 participants divided into two treatment groups, with 10 participants in the bounce kick ball group and 10 participants in the juggling group. The measurement of sepak sila ability was conducted using a one-minute sepak sila test during the pre-test and post-test stages. The training program was carried out for six weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that both groups experienced improvements in sepak sila ability after the treatment. The bounce kick ball group improved by 2.15%, while the juggling group improved by 5.51%. Statistical analysis indicated that both training methods significantly affected sepak sila ability, although there was no significant difference in improvement between the two groups. Therefore, bounce kick ball and juggling exercises can be used as alternative training variations to improve the sepak sila ability of sepak takraw extracurricular participants. ABSTRAK Kemampuan sepak sila peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak takraw masih perlu ditingkatkan karena teknik ini berperan penting dalam menerima bola, mengontrol permainan, memberikan umpan, dan mempertahankan reli selama pertandingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh latihan bounce kick ball dan juggling terhadap kemampuan sepak sila peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak takraw SMA Islam Al-Ikhwan Sesait Kecamatan Kayangan Kabupaten Lombok Utara tahun 2022. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 peserta yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok perlakuan, masing-masing kelompok bounce kick ball dan juggling terdiri atas 10 peserta. Pengukuran kemampuan sepak sila dilakukan menggunakan tes sepak sila selama satu menit pada tahap pre-test dan post-test. Program latihan dilaksanakan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, paired sample t-test, dan independent sample t-test pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelompok mengalami peningkatan kemampuan sepak sila setelah perlakuan diberikan. Kelompok bounce kick ball mengalami peningkatan sebesar 2,15%, sedangkan kelompok juggling meningkat sebesar 5,51%. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan kedua latihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan sepak sila, tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Dengan demikian, latihan bounce kick ball dan juggling dapat digunakan sebagai variasi latihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sepak sila peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak takraw.
