Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of YouTube video media on students' learning outcomes in learning Islamic Cultural History. SKI learning is often considered not serious or only as a complement, both by students and educators themselves. This is because SKI material only contains stories and the methods used by educators tend to be monotonous and boring. So that the average learning outcomes obtained are not satisfactory and do not reach the minimum completeness criteria standards. So in this study, the researcher tried to use video media in SKI learning. The research was conducted by providing a pretest and posttest. From the results of the research that has been carried out, there is an increase in student learning outcomes after applying YouTube video media in learning. The average learning outcome before treatment was 69.53 and the learning outcome after treatment was 85.45. In this case, the application of YouTube video media in SKI learning is able to improve student learning outcomes in the medium category.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the classroom management strategies carried out by teachers in class VIII PAI learning at SMPN 1 Lamongan with the research subject being the class VIII PAI teacher. This research uses the research method that the author uses is a qualitative method. Interviews, observation, and documentation are the methods used to collect data. The results of this research show 1. The teacher also has a special strategy in organizing the class, namely by taking notes in a small book. This book is used by teachers to record every detail of class management needs. The teacher also applies one learning technique that is suitable for use in PAI learning, namely a problem-based learning system. The management strategies applied are different for each level and subject, as well as extensive PAI learning management. 2. Factors that help in classroom management are optimal school curriculum, adequate classroom facilities, teachers, students and class dynamics. The inhibiting factors in classroom management are teachers and students. 3. The solution to overcoming obstacles to classroom management in class VIII PAI learning at SMPN 1 Lamongan is for teachers to hold seminars on how to increase teacher creativity in classroom management. Students can be given sanctions if they make mistakes.

Abstract

Fokus pelanggan merupakan salah satu prinsip fundamental dalam manajemen mutu yang memiliki relevansi signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep fokus pelanggan dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam melalui pendekatan akademik, dengan menekankan pentingnya memahami kebutuhan dan harapan seluruh pemangku kepentingan, baik internal maupun eksternal. Metode kajian dilakukan melalui studi literatur terhadap teori Total Quality Management (TQM) dan prinsip-prinsip pelayanan dalam perspektif Islam. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pelanggan pendidikan mencakup peserta didik, orang tua, masyarakat, dunia kerja, pemerintah, dan pihak terkait lainnya yang memiliki kepentingan terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Penerapan fokus pelanggan di lembaga pendidikan Islam meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan pelanggan, perencanaan strategis berbasis kebutuhan, penyediaan layanan yang responsif, serta evaluasi dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Dari perspektif Islam, pelayanan kepada pelanggan dipandang sebagai bentuk ibadah dan amanah moral yang menuntut integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dengan pengelolaan mutu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan fokus pelanggan secara konsisten tidak hanya meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan, tetapi juga memperkuat citra dan kepercayaan publik terhadap lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Educational supervision is one of the important functions in education management which aims to foster, guide, and improve the professionalism of educators in order to achieve optimal learning quality. This article examines conceptually the components of Islamic education supervision and their relevance in the implementation of leadership in madrasas. The study was conducted through a literature study on education supervision theory, education regulation, and expert views, emphasizing the principles of Islamic education management. The results of the study show that effective supervision consists of several interrelated components, namely: supervision objectives, planning, implementation, supervision techniques (individual and group), instruments, evaluation, and follow-up. Each component has a strategic role in ensuring that the supervision process runs systematically, directed, and sustainable. The implementation of structured supervision will have a positive impact on improving teachers' teaching skills, implementing active, creative, effective, and fun learning (PAKEM), creating a culture of quality in schools, and improving student learning outcomes. In the context of Islamic education, the application of supervision is not only technical, but also based on the values of coaching, service, and moral responsibility. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the success of supervision is highly dependent on the synergy of all components, so it needs to be designed and implemented comprehensively and sustainably

Abstract

Academic supervision is one of the strategic instruments in education management to improve teachers' professional competence and the quality of learning in schools. In contrast to conventional supervisory patterns that are authoritarian, academic supervision emphasizes a democratic, collaborative, and constructive approach that positions teachers as partners in the coaching process. This study aims to outline the characteristics of effective academic supervision and its relevance to improving teacher performance in madrasas. The research method used is library research by examining various sources of literature, educational regulations, and relevant previous research results. The results of the study show that effective academic supervision has main characteristics, including based on a scientific approach, based on humanist relationships, oriented towards teacher professional development, and constructive and sustainable. In addition, the clinical supervision model is one of the prominent forms of academic supervision, with stages of planning, observation, and feedback carried out dialogically. The implementation of these characteristics has an impact on increasing teachers' pedagogic competence, optimizing learning management, and forming a quality culture in the school environment. Thus, the implementation of planned, collaborative, and continuous academic supervision is the key to developing teacher professionalism and improving the quality of education in madrasas.

Abstract

Education quality management is a systematic effort to ensure that the entire education process runs effectively, efficiently, and produces quality graduates. This article aims to outline the concepts, principles, and implementation of quality management in the context of Islamic education, especially in madrasas. This study uses a library research method by examining various relevant literature, educational regulations, and previous research results. The results of the study show that education quality management includes strategic planning, resource organization, program implementation, monitoring, and continuous evaluation. Key principles of quality management include customer focus, total engagement, continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and systems approach. From the perspective of Islamic education, quality management is not only oriented towards achieving academic standards, but also moral development, strengthening spirituality, and developing students' character according to Islamic values. Proper implementation will produce a culture of quality in schools, improve teacher professionalism, and strengthen public trust in educational institutions. This study recommends the implementation of integrated quality management that integrates modern principles with Islamic values in order to achieve holistic and sustainable quality of education.

Abstract

Educational supervision is an important component of the education system that functions not only as supervision, but also professional coaching and guidance for educators. This article discusses the development of educational supervision from the past which tended to be administrative and controlling, to a modern paradigm that is more humanistic, collaborative, and participatory. Through literature studies and related regulatory studies, the definition, objectives, functions, roles, and principles of educational supervision were explained, as well as the differences in characteristics between traditional supervision and current supervision. Modern supervision places teachers as partners in professional development, with a focus on improving the quality of learning and educational innovation, including the use of technology in e-supervision. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of supervision is highly dependent on the application of scientific, democratic, cooperative, constructive, and creative principles, as well as the active involvement of principals and supervisors. By understanding the development of supervision concepts and practices, it is hoped that educational institutions will be able to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The quality of Islamic education is a strategic aspect that determines the success of the institution in producing a generation that excels intellectually, characterfully, and is based on spiritual values. This article aims to examine the concept, scope, improvement strategy, and practical study of the application of quality education in the era of modern society, with a focus on Islamic educational institutions. Using a literature study approach, this study explains that the quality of education includes the conformity of processes and results with the set standards, the needs of education service users, as well as Islamic values such as itqan (sincerity), ihsan (best quality), and amanah (responsibility). The scope of quality includes institutional, educator, student, learning processes, and integrated evaluation. The quality improvement strategy emphasizes the development of a quality culture, strengthening teacher competence, a sustainable evaluation system, and visionary leadership. A case study at the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School shows that the synergy between Islamic boarding school traditions and modern innovations can produce a sustainable quality system, including academic learning, character development, and institutional management based on Islamic values. These findings confirm that the success of improving the quality of Islamic education is highly dependent on collective commitment, leadership integrity, and the application of adaptive management principles, so that Islamic educational institutions are able to compete globally without losing their Islamic identity.

Abstract

The quality of Islamic education is a strategic issue in facing the challenges of globalization and people's demands for quality educational services. This article discusses the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) as a strategy to improve the quality of education in madrasas by emphasizing the principles of customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, teamwork, and the involvement of all stakeholders. This study uses a library research approach by analyzing literature, regulations, and previous research results that are relevant to the quality management of Islamic education. The results of the study show that quality development in madrasas requires the active participation of all parties, both internally (madrasah heads, teachers, staff) and externally (parents, community, government). The implementation of TQM in Islamic education includes strengthening organizational systems, setting clear quality standards, fact-based management, and a collaborative work culture oriented towards continuous improvement. Madrasas that successfully implement the principles of TQM are able to improve the quality of learning, stakeholder satisfaction, and competitiveness of graduates. This study confirms that the success of the development of the quality of Islamic education is highly dependent on collective commitment, visionary leadership, and awareness of the importance of maintaining the relevance of education to the needs of society.

Abstract

Gender, which is understood as a status formed by social and cultural, is different from nature that is perceived as innate in creation. Thus, gender equality can be built as the truth of total cooperation between men and women in social and domestic roles. In fact, the perception that tries to build the totality of equality between men and women, has a gap. If the total integration of the two is still carried out, it is tantamount to imposing an idea on reality. Women have different physical biology than men, so there are certain parts of the role that are not possible for her to do so, such as the heavy and high-risk work that men do. Efforts to unravel and research these problems use a type of library research. The step is to examine the verses of the Qur'an and relevant literature on the relationship between nature and gender with an analytical-thematic approach through a psychoanalytic-biological approach. As a result, the totality of gender equality integration between men and women is impossible, because nature binds and limits gender. The equality that can be obtained is the equality of obtaining rewards, becoming a caliph on earth and both as slaves. Other equality is certain areas that can be borne by nature so as not to harm and damage women, such as writing, services, secretarial work, parenting and care or in executive and professional circles
