SISI LAIN REALITA is a valuable resource for academics and researchers in crime, whether they be from criminology, sociology, anthropology, psychology, law, economics, politics or social work, and for professionals concerned with crime, law, criminal justice, politics, and penology. The study criminology have some paradigm. First, Classical Criminology, Modern Criminology, Feminist Criminology and Post Modern Criminology. The Journal welcomes submissions from a variety of perspectives focusing on crime and society; and especially articles written from sociological, historical, philosophical, youth justice, feminist criminology, violence and victims, human trafficking, human right, news macking criminology, visual criminology, everyday life crime, cybercrime, transnational crime, geographical, environmental crime, economical crime, psychological, jurisprudential, cultural, political, or policy standpoints. Whilst the journal endeavours to be as inclusive as possible in terms of its content, its aim is also to publish the best work currently ongoing within the discipline. The two main criteria according to which articles submitted for publication will be assessed are: the degree to which the article contributes new knowledge to an understanding of crime and society; the overall quality of the argument and its presentation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and obtain the causes and objective description of the Multiple Victimization of Women as Victims of Domestic Violence. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive type with the research location located in Bangkinang City. In order to obtain information, the informants were set as sources of direct data information by means of interviews. All data collected were analyzed descriptively to be further concluded as a result of the research found. The results of research on double victimization of women as victims of domestic violence. It was found that the presence of domestic violence in the Bangkinang City was caused by the behavior of the husband who did not work and was drunk. Then it was resolved to the police as a form of deterrent effect on the partner, namely the husband who committed violence and some were resolved amicably. Then it was found that there were at least 3 causes of violence, namely physical violence, psychological violence, and economic violence. Of the three causes that trigger domestic violence in Bangkinang City.

Abstract

On the internet, women are often experinced a verbal and visual cyber sexual harassment. In general, cyber sexual harassment can be defined as sexual harassment in the cyber realm, the form of cyber sexual harassment are vulgar speech, teasing, and gestures that lead to sexual activity. The woman who use Twitter are carries a different risk than men. Through Twitter, women are vulnerable to being victimized by cyber sexual harassment in the form of sexual content. The emergence of vulnerability of cyber sexual harassment victimization on Twitter is due to four factors, namely, space, capable guardians, suitable target, and motivated offenders. The purpose of this study is to determine the emergence of cyber sexual harassment as a form of victimization vulnerability to women. This research uses visual criminology method, which is a method that uses visual devices such as pictures and conducts interviews with related sources. Referring to the theory used by the author, namely Routine Activity Theory and Lifestyle Exposure Theory to see how individuals become victims of crime and provide opportunities for perpetrators to commit crimes.

Abstract

Body shaming is a verbal and nonverbal comment that undoubtedly affects victim”s psychic condition. Body Shaming is a new breed of misrepresentation as a result of misusing negative social networking and can occur in public and public figures. The arrival of the phenomenon body shaming on social media is among the forms of cyberbullying. The study is aimed at figuring out how vicariology analyzed the bdy shaming case that dealth with one public figure on social media of instagram. The methods used in this study are visually criminology, while the subject of the study was chosen was a dangdut singer named via vallen. The results of this study are many of the negative comments via vallen received about his physical forms. Via vallen felt the effects of netizen negative comments. The conclusion of this study, seen from the perspective of victimology, is that body shaming can occur in an unrelated relationship between the perpetrator and the victim. Social media use has been known to incite involvement by others in interacting, either as defenders or abusers. If a victim has little or no response to the incident, the feud tendsto remain calm and undeveloped.

Abstract

Body shaming is generally in the form of verbal utterances that can lead to bullying and can lead to verbal abuse. Where this body shaming problem often occurs and without us knowing it. This body shaming behavior is still underestimated and is considered culturally normal. The purpose of this study was to discuss how the form of victimization experienced by obese adolescent girls as victims of body shaming at SMAN X Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative methods and type of case study research. The main theory in this study uses the feminist theory of intersectionality in feminist criminology studies and the concept of self-objectification in the theory of objectification. This theory explains that the existence of a self-identity inherent in the victim results in body shaming resulting in victimization. From this problem, the researcher sees several aspects as a form to minimize the occurrence of body shaming so that it does not develop among students, the role of several parties is needed, namely the Pekanbaru City Education Office, the school, the student council, and parents participate in dealing with this problem.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between area mapping and the pattern of crime prevention (preventive efforts) used by the Ujung Batu Police. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research by conducting interviews with key informants and informants who are in accordance with the research objectives and have relevant knowledge and information about the main problems in this study. Based on the results of the research, the mapping of crime-prone areas is very helpful for the police in carrying out preventive efforts, namely in preventing crimes that occur in Ujung Batu District, because from this mapping we can know which areas are the most vulnerable and what crimes dominate in the area. that. There are several steps taken by the Ujung Batu Sector Police in preventing the emergence of factors that cause crime in the legal domain of the Ujung Batu Police, including conducting patrols and adding police personnel, conducting village visits, and holding night patrols. The efforts made by the Ujung Batu Sector Police are carried out in a way that focuses on eliminating and minimizing the factors that cause crime.

Abstract

Social media is a communication media used by all productive age groups and is the most sensitive place for many aspects of  life,  one of which is the social media instagram there so many technology crimes such as stalking occur and are committed. The purpose of this research is to find out how cyberstalking is formed on social media instagram. Researchers used qualitative method by conducting interview with sources who refferes to the routine activity theory. This phemonenon can lead to perpetrators and victims who can to be happen to anyone and anywhere due to existence of a place, a capable guardians, a suitable target and motivated offender. Cyberstalking can also be an extraordinary crime because it causes many effects of other crimes such as what happens in online comunniaction media today.

Abstract

Toxic relationships that can trigger violence against women can be caused by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that trigger the emergence of violence experienced by women in toxic relationship problems. Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of victim restitution as an alternative in solving minor criminal cases. This study aims to determine how the implementation of victim restitution as an alternative to mitigate minor crimes. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive type r by conducting interviews with key informants and related informants. Based on the research results, it shows that the settlement of minor criminal cases by implementing restitution to the victim can be carried out if both parties agree to resolve the problem. Meanwhile, the procedure for resolving minor criminal cases is based on restorative justice that focuses on deliberation. Restitution is an obligation that must be obtained by the victim because it will ease the victim’s  suffering. In the process of implementing restitution, the police acts as a mediator between the perpetrator and the victim, so the implementation runs smoothly without any obstacles. However, the implementation of restitution in minor criminal cases, especially in Pangkalan Kerinci Police Sector is not effective enough, therefore there is a need for socialization and further action to the community regarding restitution rights for victims, so the victims and community protection can be achieved.

Abstract

Even though the Indonesian state has Law No.11 of 2009 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions in Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law which regulates criminal sanctions for perpetrators of bullying insults, this does not necessarily stop bullies from intensifying their actions in the media social.  An Indonesian public figure named Kekeyi is hotly discussed on Instagram.  Not everything done by Kekeyi received positive responses.  Kekeyi is one of the many public figures in Indonesia who experience cyberbullying on social media.  Research aims to determine the forms of cyberbullying that Kekeyi accepted on his Instagram account because cyberbullying has various forms.  This study uses a visual criminology method with content analysis. The theoretical basis used is critical victimology theory.  Based on the visuals and data analysis conducted, it is concluded that all forms of cyberbullying by Price & Dalgleish (2010) have been experienced by the public figure of Rahmawati Kekeyi on Instagram social media.  Which consists of called names (giving negative names), image of victim spread, threats to physical safety (threatened physical harm), and opinion slammed (derogatory opinion).  In the context of cyberbullying, it was found that cyberbully in the form of opinion slammed is a form of cyberbullying that is mostly experienced by Kekeyi. And most occur in the comments column.

Abstract

Cyber ​​harrasment is the result of improper use of the internet and it is a verbal crime where most of the victims are children and adolescents. This crime need internet as a media to do these acts. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between the use of social media Instagram and the vulnerability of of cyber harrasment victims. The research uses quantitative methods, with correlational approach. The research analyzed the behaviour of the Instagram users at @anaksekolahpku account. The result of this research showed that that there the teenagers who made an Instagram become part of their lives. They even deliberately include their personal identities and daily activities for public consumption. This is related to the result of the research about the vulnerability of victims of cyber harassment, where teenagers even get / provide some comments, vulgar videos, personal messages, etc., which lead to cyber harassment. So, it can be concluded that there was significant relationship between the use of social media Instagram and the vulnerability of of cyber harrasment victims.
