This crossectional study method involves 112 mothers and toddlers aged 0-59 months. Data collected in the month April 2021. The data was collected using questionnaire sheets. Data analysis uses chi-square and binary logistic regression. The results are mother age when pregnance factors (p=0.01), family income (p=0.000), and mother knowledge about nutrition (p=0.000) are significantly associated with stunting incidence in toddlers. Mother education factors (p=0.872), mother job (p=0.065), and child sex are not associated with stunting incidence in toddlers. Abstract

Latar belakang: Senyawa flavonoid mempunyai sifat antioksidan.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding as early as possible after delivery, given without a schedule and no other food, even water, until the baby is 6 months old. The benefits of giving exclusive breast milk to babies are increasing the baby's immune system, optimizing the baby's development and reducing the possibility of various chronic diseases in the future. Several factors can influence exclusive breastfeeding for babies, namely work, age, education, knowledge and husband's support. The aim of the research is to find out what factors influence exclusive breastfeeding in the Tanjung Agung Community Health Center working area. Quantitative research method with a cross sectional approach. The target sample was 100 people, while the population taken in this study were all mothers who had 6 month old babies in the Tanjung Agung Community Health Center working area. Sampling was taken by accidental sampling. Data collection uses a questionnaire. The analysis method used is frequency distribution and Chi-square. The results of statistical test analysis show that there is a significant relationship (p value 0.05) for age (p value 0.018), occupation (p value 0.003, knowledge (p value 0.023), education (p value 0.001) and husband's support (p value 0.034). The Community Health Center should provide information and support to mothers of toddlers in providing exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Prolonged labor is labor that lasts 12 hours or more without the birth of the baby. WHO data in 2017 shows that birth complications contributed to 810 maternal deaths worldwide and 69,000 cases of prolonged labor. In the 2017 IDHS data, prolonged labor was the most frequently reported mild complication, namely 41%. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence the length of labor at TPMB Rusmaleni, SST, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The research design used is an analytical method with a cross-sectional approach where the independent variables (fetal weight, age, parity) and dependent variables (length of labor) are collected simultaneously, and each research object is only observed once. Based on univariate analysis, the results showed that 52.3% of respondents experienced prolonged labor, 47.7% of respondents did not experience prolonged labor, 29.2% of respondents who experienced maternal parity were at risk, 70.8% of respondents who experienced maternal parity were at risk. not at risk, as many as 27.7% of respondents who experience maternal age are at risk, as many as 72.3% of respondents who experience maternal age are not at risk, as many as 30.8% of respondents who experience fetal weight are at risk and 60.2% of respondents who experience fetal weight not risky. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between length of labor and maternal parity with a p value 0.00, there was a relationship between length of labor and maternal age with a p value of 0.00, there was a relationship between length of labor and fetal weight with a p value 0.00. The patient's lack of knowledge about the patient's condition causes prolonged labor so that factors that can influence prolonged labor are prevented

Abstract

Pacar air flowers (Impatiens balsamina L.) hold potential as natural antibacterial agents, rich in compounds like flavonoids, alkaloids, steroidal saponins, tannins, quinones, and phenols. Pacar air flowers are utilized in traditional medicine for various medical conditions, including antibacterial properties. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using balsam flower extract (Impatiens balsamina L.) as a natural antiseptic in reducing total plate count on the hands of Poltekkes Denpasar students. Sterile hand swab samples were collected using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design to assess differences before and after the application of various concentrations. Statistical analysis was performed using One-way ANOVA. The study revealed differences in total plate count before and after the application of pacar air flower extract (Impatiens balsamina L.) on the hands of Poltekkes Denpasar students. The mean total plate count before treatment was 29,98 CFU/cm2, while after treatment, it was 4,70 CFU/cm2. Total plate count significantly decreased (p0.05) after applying the pacar air extract compared to before (Impatiens balsamina L.). There was a significant reduction in total plate count with the application of extract concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 15%
