Jurnal Pengabdian Pendidikan Masyarakat (JPPM) merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh LP3M Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. Jurnal Pengabdian Pendidikan Masyarakat (JPPM) bertujuan untuk mempublikasikan artikel hasil kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan di masyarakat yang menerapkan berbagai bidang ilmu diantaranya pendidikan, teknik, pertanian, sosial humaniora, komputer dan kesehatan. <![CDATA[Entrepreneurship activities can also be carried out by developing skills for entrepreneurs or prospective entrepreneurs. (1) Skill development for mothers who want to run entrepreneurship, one of which is sewing skills. In previous service activities, basic sewing training for women's clothing has been carried out, but if these skills are only basic, according to partners, basic sewing skills cannot be used as capital to run a sewing service business. The problems faced were due to limited time, so they could not directly conduct training in just one time. In this service, training was carried out with materials on advanced sewing, by repeating patterns, how to measure the body and the importance of making financial reports, even though the business/business was started from home. With this training, trainees gain knowledge about the importance of making financial reports, and have the skills to measure the body for dress sizes, make patterns and sew women's clothes.]]>

<![CDATA[Literacy is a person's ability to understand information processed through reading and writing activities. The results of a study conducted by Alibaca obtained that the National Literacy Index is included in the category of low literacy activity, including the province of North Sumatra with a value of 35,73. To improve the literacy of the community which is still low, the introduction of literacy must be done from an early age in addition to habituation, the introduction of literacy from an early age also provides many benefits, one of which is that children are easier to process, receive and respond to all information he receives. One way to foster an interest in early childhood literacy is to use the Ice Cream Educational Game Tool (APE). This community service is located in Botung village, precisely in Najihah Kindergarten. The purpose of this community service is to foster an interest in early childhood literacy. The method used participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The implementation of this service is carried out through four stages, namely: analysis of the situation, program planning, implementation, and evaluation. After this community service activity was carried out, the results were obtained that by using the Educational Game Tool (APE) ice cream the interest in early childhood literacy in Botung village increased.]]>

<![CDATA[The Teaching Campus program is a form of Freedom to Learn Campus Merdeka, which provides opportunities for students to become partners of elementary and secondary school teachers who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Public Elementary School 091640 Bandar Masilam Simalungun Regency is one of the targeted schools for the campus teaching program batch 3 of 2022 due to experiencing learning loss during the pandemic. Students who experience learning loss have low literacy and numeracy skills, some are even unable to read at all. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The teaching campus program at SDN 091640 Bandar Masilam consists of activities to improve literacy and numeracy, teacher and school administration, technology adaptation, character development according to Pancasila values, and environmental health education. With the teaching campus program from February to June 2022, there has been an increase in students' literacy skills, numeracy skills. The existence of a reading corner makes students who have not been able to write and read at all be able to write and read fluently. The results of the class minimum competency assessment (AKM) were also very satisfying. In addition, school administration is getting more organized, implementing various online learning media applications, using electronic media in learning, as well as a clean and healthy school environment as a follow-up to school environmental health education. The Teaching Campus has provided space for students to contribute as agents of change/innovators so that it has a positive impact on all elements involved in the school environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic has changed various aspects of human life today, especially in the world of education. This pandemic era requires all elements of education to adapt in carrying out learning activities at the elementary, junior high, high school up to university levels. This study aims to review the strategy for implementing KKN for STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, community service activities regarding optimization strategies for the implementation of KKN are considered important for field supervisors. The method used in the implementation of community service is the lecture and discussion method. Activities are carried out in the following stages: 1) preparation of the required documents, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) evaluation of the achievement of objectives. The results of this activity are as follows: 1) preparation of required documents, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) evaluation of goal achievement. The results of this activity are as follows: 1) the required documents are completed according to plan, 2) the activity is attended by all KKN DPLs, and 3) KKN DPLs are very enthusiastic in receiving an explanation of the concept of optimizing the implementation of KKN and 4) KKN DPL gain knowledge about strategies for optimizing the implementation of STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo KKN during the Covid 19 period.]]>

<![CDATA[Health promotion is the process by which a community makes efforts to improve its ability to optimize the factors that affect health. In addition to positive impacts, advances in science and technology in the pharmaceutical industry also have negative impacts, one of which is obtaining, using, storing, and disposing of drugs in the wrong way. “Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, Buang” (DAGUSIBU) is a Drug Awareness Family Movement initiated by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) in an effort to provide public understanding and awareness of the correct use of drugs. This community service was carried out with the aim of socializing and educating the housewives' community group in Dau sub-district, Malang Regency, about DAGUSIBU. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest with active and participatory learning methods through door-to-door socialization activities with media leaflets. The results show that most respondents are aged 31–35 years (23.8%), and the distribution of DAGUSIBU drug knowledge among respondents has increased by 66.6% after socialization and education activities.]]>

<![CDATA[Kondisi kini menunjukkan bahwa materi uji kompetensi atas skema sertifikasi dari Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Pihak ke-3 (LSP P3) Perdagangan dan Ritel Semarang belum aktual mengakibatkan potensi tidak relevan penguasaan kompetensi dalam dunia kerja. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk penyusun materi uji kompetensi pada LSP P3 Perdagangan Riset secara valid dan aktual. Pendampingan yang dilakukan tidak saja memberikan pemahaman namun juga motivasi untuk melakukan peningkatan kualitas uji kompetensi secara umum. Pendampingan dilakukan pelatihan teknis, evaluasi dan pengawasan untuk mengefektifkan materi uji yang akan divalidasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari Maret sampai September 2022 dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan mencapai tujuan menyusun lima materi uji kompetensi baru. Selain itu, pemahaman proses validasi materi uji kompetensi yang meningkat dapat mendukung proses telaah materi uji kompetensi yang telah disusun agar lebih berkualitas. Kegiatan yang sama dapat memperhatikan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara ekstensif untuk memudahkan proses kerja sekaligus pendampingan secara intensi.]]>

<![CDATA[Program Kampus Mengajar merupakan salah satu program Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang bertujuan untuk membantu sekolah dasar maupun menengah yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19. Salah satu sekolah dasar yang menjadi sasaran program ini adalah SDN No. 40 Hulonthalangi, Gorontalo. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi program Kampus Mengajar sebagai wujud kontribusi belajar sambil berdampak. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program Kampus Mengajar di SDN No. 40 Hulonthalangi, Gorontalo melalui program pendampingan peningkatan literasi numerasi, adaptasi teknologi dan administrasi, berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif kepada seluruh elemen yang terlibat, khususnya di sekitar lingkungan sekolah.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk melatih penggunaan LiveWorksheets. Hal ini berguna untuk meningkatkan kemampuan teknologi Guru SMAN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monev. Tempat pengabdian kali ini adalah Laboratorium Komputer SMAN 2 Bengkulu Tengah, sedangkan peserta dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 18 guru yang terdiri dari berbagai bidang pelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar respon peserta dan lembar monitoring. Hasil lembar respon adalah sebesar 4,23 atau dalam kriteria sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil lembar monitoring menunjukkan sebanyak 7 orang guru masih mengembangkan dan menggunakan media ini di dalam kelas.]]>

<![CDATA[Hand Puppet merupakan salah satu media atau alat bantu guru yang dapat digunakan untuk merangsang atau memotivasi siswa untuk berbicara. Boneka Tangan ini merupakan tiruan manusia atau tokoh tertentu yang sangat familiar bagi anak usia sekolah dasar. Penggunaan boneka ini sebenarnya sangat sederhana dengan memainkan karakter boneka tersebut dalam percakapan singkat dengan siswa. Dalam hal ini, siswa secara otomatis terlibat langsung dalam praktik berbicara. Dalam hal ini boneka merupakan alat atau media pembelajaran yang dianjurkan untuk digunakan dalam merangsang psikomotorik anak. Tujuan penggunaan media boneka ini adalah agar siswa dapat belajar berbicara dengan menganggap bahwa boneka tangan adalah bagian dari lawan bicara dalam percakapan singkat. Oleh karena itu, siswa dapat belajar tentang istilah atau kosa kata baru, serta dapat memahami arah pembicaraan dan menanggapi pembicara.]]>

<![CDATA[The SMK Center of Excellence (CoE) program targets 491 schools and 4,586 teachers and principals with a focus on developing improved learning in the world of work, teacher competence, and vocational school heads, as well as facilities and infrastructure. SMK Swasta PAB 12 Saentis is one of the 9 public and private vocational schools in North Sumatra developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia through the Director General of Vocational Education to become a Center of Excellence in the Field of Hospitality in 2020. SMK Swasta PAB 12 Saentis which is located at Jl. Kali Serayau Desa/kelurahan Saentis Kecamatan Percut Sei Tua Kabupaten/Kota Deli Serdang Provinsi Prov. North Sumatra. SMK Private PAB 12 has an area of 41252 m2. However, SMK Swasta PAB 12 Saentis does not yet have a School Website that presents information related to school profiles, E-learning, and also graduate databases. the solution offered Create a school website that has e-learning, PPDB, and graduate tracing, as well as provide training on website utilization to administrative staff and provide training to teachers in managing learning using e-learning equipped with learning tools. After the Training Process is procured, the management of the school administration website can be independent in making an important article or information post. Teachers can already manage most of the e-learning of SMKS PAB 12 Scientists in filling learning content.]]>
