<![CDATA[This service aims to improve the ability to write short stories for students of Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatusyubban using characterization techniques and three-word strategies. The method of activities used in this service is in the form of training / workshops and the results of the training are in the form of short paragraphs about short stories made. The training participants were 38 students from Aliyah Raudhatusyubban Madrasah.The results of the service show that students have an interest in the field of writing short stories but are constrained by ignorance in expressing ideas. The training of writing short stories using characterization techniques and three-word strategies is expected to be a solution for students to improve their ability to write short stories.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of media for teaching is important in mathematics learning in order to make learning more meaningful and students can easily understand mathematical concepts. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide insight and skills to elementary school teachers so that they have expertise in the use of mathematics media for teaching, such as integer coins, multiplication houses and KPK and FPB boards. This activity was attended by teachers at Tamban Muara 1 Elementary School . The results of this activity were adding insight, increasing teacher motivation and improving teacher skills in using mathematics media for teaching.]]>

<![CDATA[The main objective of this community service activity is to facilitate a workshop on basic English conversation and Islamic integration for Islamic school teachers particularly for teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At Taqwa Sukodono. It was carried out due to limitation of so called worshops on those fore mentioned topics. The subject of this community service activity was teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At Taqwa Sukodono. The method implemented was guided workshop. It covers a workshop on motivation and insight of Islamic integration and a worshop on basic English conversation.]]>

<![CDATA[Culinary business is very developed in the City of Batam, especially the majority of the community is workers. Because not have no time to cook, citizens prefer to buy food outside while relaxing with the family. Demand more and more, more and more are also opened businesses in the culinary field, so the competition in selling gain weight. Both partners cake tape miss and toteles donuts still does not have an ecommerce, not to have the packaging design and marketing is still lacking. The purpose of this activity is to create an ecommerce, create packaging design and marketing of products. Ecommerce into one solution to improve a positive image to the community of Batam. The design of the packaging (packaging design) exciting the attention of his own for the buyer. Taste indeed determine the purchase back, with a pretty look is expected to add a positive value in the eyes of the customer by creating a unique form as well as print different layouts. The factor of economic withlooking so packaging does not need the expensive cost. Marketing management by providing coaching to be able to maintain business continuity as well as remain attentive to the satisfaction of the buyer. The results of these activities are already making a second web of partners, is already making packaging design and development marketing.]]>

(KKN-PPM) Program aims to improve the knowledge, skills and income of the Jatimulyo village female head of household through strengthening conventional biotechnology-based micro enterprises in the food sector. Jatimulyo Village as an agriculture-based village has abundant natural resource potential, one of which is soybeans. By using conventional biotechnology, soybeans can produce a product in the field of food such as tofu, tempeh, and soy milk. The KKN-PPM program is implemented starting from preparation and debriefing, implementation of activities, and preparation of program sustainability plans. Through the KKN-PPM program results were obtained in the form of micro-businesses under the name PEKKA Beringinsalam. The KKN-PPM program received a positive response from the participants, and proved to be able to improve the knowledge, skills and income of the target group.]]>

<![CDATA[The implementation of the community service program entitled 'One Stop Learning English in Sidoarjo English Community (SIDEC) aims to share about learning English, more precisely a day training that prioritizes English language skills, especially speaking skills of SIDEC members consisting of various professions.. There are many problems that club members often encounter in speaking English pronunciation and using vocabulary functions. In its implementation, this One Stop Learning English training contains listening, reading, speaking, structure and writing. But it is focused on speaking, with an allocation of 2,5 hours, starting at 16:30 to 21:00.]]>

<![CDATA[Universities are not only the place to produce human resources that have high intellect, but also should provide value to the surrounding community. Specifically, the authors team chose to do society dedication in the area which closest to the campus, that is Traditional Islamic Boarding School Darul Hikmah. The problem is that the level of need for the cottage will be very high. On one side, the board of the lodge wants to answer the challenges of the era of the importance of their students to master English to be equal to other students by means of the English Vocabulary Habit Program. The purpose is to give dedication in the form of Assistance for the English Vocabulary Habit Program at Prasung Islamic Boarding School. There are 30 students and the sample used by the team is 10. The method of implementing this program is by educating students who lackknowledge of English. The results of societydedication have had a significant impact, some errors such as writing vocabulary on the list of vocabularies can be improved. Students are also very enthusiastic about learning vocabulary taught by direct method. The original teacher in the Islamic boarding school (ustadh and ustadhah) can adopt more contextual, meaningful and communicative vocabulary learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Batam is one of the areas surrounded by a cluster of islands around it. In addition, the location of Batam, which is one of the gates in the interaction of international trade, is also a major advantage in supporting the economy of the people who live in the Batam area and its surroundings. As an archipelago, Batam has tourist attractions that attract visitors or foreign tourists. most of the tourist attractions which are the destination for local tourists and foreign tourists are the islands around Batam. Most of the people or residents who live on these islands earn income by utilizing abundant marine products. With the existence of tourist destinations around the islands around Batam, many people try to take advantage of these situations and conditions by providing simple dwellings for tourists visiting the area. In addition to housing, the community also prepares culinary tourism destinations for visitors who offer typical cuisine and food products from the area, which are mostly marine products. Therefore, in its efforts to increase the attractiveness of visitors, it will be very important for the people who reside and manage their own businesses to be able to communicate well to every local and foreign tourist. With good language skills, especially the ability to use English, this can help increase visitor attraction and is a good strategy for the community to be able to improve their quality so that the sea products managed by the community are getting better.]]>

Outcomes of the community service program in the form of: compost products, Packaging and labeling.
