Abstract

Online transportation platforms have become an important part of urban mobility in Indonesia. However, the growth of ride-hailing services is followed by user complaints related to application reliability, price fairness, driver behavior, location accuracy, service security, and customer support. This article evaluates the performance of online transportation platforms in Indonesia using a literature-based approach. The evaluation model combines system quality, information quality, service quality, price perception, security, user satisfaction, and net benefit. The study reviews recent articles published within the last five years, especially studies discussing Gojek, Grab, and Maxim in several Indonesian cities. The analysis shows that platform performance cannot be measured only from the number of users or downloads. A platform is considered good when it is stable, easy to use, provides accurate information, offers fair prices, maintains security and privacy, and produces satisfaction and practical benefits for users. The findings also indicate that price/value perception and service quality often become dominant factors in shaping satisfaction, while system issues such as inaccurate pick-up points, application errors, and weak privacy protection can reduce user trust. This article recommends integrated performance improvement through application reliability, transparent pricing, driver service standardization, complaint handling, and continuous sentiment monitoring.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology encourages business actors to optimize their operational processes through the implementation of computerized systems. Gilingan Padi Fajar in Olak Kemang Village still conducts its operational activities manually, including stock recording, sales transactions, and report preparation, which leads to various issues such as delays in data processing, potential recording errors, and limited access to information for customers. This study aims to design a web-based rice sales information system capable of integrating data management, transaction processing, and reporting into a single integrated platform. The method used in this study is the prototype method, which enables iterative system development through direct interaction with users to ensure alignment with actual needs in the field. The results show that the designed system can improve the efficiency of data processing, simplify the ordering process without requiring customers to visit the location directly, and generate sales reports more quickly and accurately. Therefore, this system is expected to support improved operational performance and service quality at Gilingan Padi Fajar.

Abstract

Grellen Open Space plays a crucial role in designing a sustainable city. This study aims to analyzel and formulatel strategiels for the management and development of the Muhammad Sabki City Forest in Jambi City. The Muhammad Sabki City Forest, which covers an area of approximately 10.56 hectares, not only plays a role in providing comfortable public space but also in maintaining ecosystem balance and providing social and educational benefits to the community. This research was conducted in the Muhammad Sabki City Forest, Kelnali Asam Bawah, Jambi City. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. The study used a purposive sampling method for collecting respondents, with data analyzed using a SWOT analysis. The results showed that the analysis of internal and external environmental factors, including the strategy for managing and developing the Muhammad Sabki City Forest in Jambi City, demonstrated that the internal factor score was 2.59, while the external factor score was 2.62. The SWOT analysis revealed a quadrant point in the diagram positioned in quadrant I, namely SO (strengths and opportunities) or Aggressively Strategically (Profitably). The focus of this strategy is to utilize internal strengths to maximize existing opportunities, thus supporting an aggressive growth policy.

Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country that has quite extensive forest areas. The existence of this forest area is a national asset that must be managed and developed in a better direction, so that it can be used sustainably. The existence of Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number P.83/Menlhk/Kum.1/10/2016 concerning Social Forestry is of course an opportunity for the people of Sei Nagalawan Village to participate in this program. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of social forestry permits on improving the economy of the Muara Baimbai Mangrove Conservation Group. The research method used is a qualitative method. The data collection carried out during the research was carried out using data triangulation, namely a data collection technique that combines various data collection techniques and existing data sources and constraints in the management of the Muara Baimbai Mangrove Conservation Group's HKm. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that social forestry permits have an effect on improving the economy of the Muara Baimbai Mangrove Conservation Group during 2020-2024, experiencing a decrease in visitors. External and internal factors are obstacles faced in managing the Community Forest of the Muara Baimbai Mangrove Conservation Group.

Abstract

Indonesia's tropical forests are a source of diverse medicinal plants with potential bioactive compounds, particularly antimicrobial agents. Bioprospecting is a systematic approach to exploring and utilizing these biological resources to discover compounds with pharmacological value. This article reviews the bioprospecting of forest medicinal plants as sources of antimicrobial compounds, focusing on secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, terpenoids, and essential oils. Several plant species found in tropical forests including Azadirachta indica (neem), Curcuma aeruginosa (black turmeric), Zingiber officinale (ginger), Rhizophora mucronata (bakau), and various wetland plants have demonstrated significant antimicrobial activity against pathogenic bacteria and fungi such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans. These findings highlight the importance of integrating ethnopharmacological knowledge with modern phytochemical and microbiological methods. Sustainable bioprospecting practices, supported by appropriate regulatory frameworks, are essential for the conservation and equitable utilization of forest biodiversity as a source of future antimicrobial drugs.

Abstract

Siamang is a protected species based on the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. P.106 of 2018. As an endangered species. The activities observed were agonistic activity (AG), defecation activity (DF), grooming activity (GR), resting activity (IS), drinking activity (MI), eating activity (MK), moving activity (MO), vocal activity (VC). As well as urination activity (UR). This research aims to determine and study the daily behavior of Siamang. The results obtained from research regarding the diurnal activity of Siamang in KBTR Jambi Province for 10 days (360,000 seconds), namely the average activity from highest to lowest is move activity 278,106 seconds; 77.25%, rest activity 36,535 seconds; 10.14%, vocalization activity 32,311 seconds; 8.97%, grooming activity 6,398 seconds; 1.77%, agonistic activity 3,196 seconds; 0.88%, eating activity 2,080; 0.57%, drinking activity 715 seconds; 0.19%, urination activity 409 seconds; 0.11%, defecation activity 250 seconds; 0.06%. The highest activity pattern carried out by gibbons during the day is moving activity and the lowest is defecation activity. The movement activity of the gibbon during the day is 278,106 seconds; 77.25%. The highest movement activity results during the day are because gibbons are animals that are active during the day.
