Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the influence of work motivation on employee performance at the Bitung Fishery Port (2) the influence of the work environment on employee performance at the Bitung Fishery Port (3) the influence of motivation and work environment on employee performance at the Bitung Fishery Port. This research is qualitative research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 53 employees of the Bitung Ocean Fishing Port. Data collection used questionnaire and observation methods. The data analysis techniques used are simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Based on the research results, the conclusions obtained are (1) there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on employee performance of 11.7%, (2) the work environment has no effect on employee performance which is associated with the value of Sign = 0.234 > 0.05, (3) There is a positive and significant influence of work motivation and work environment together on employee performance at the Bitung Ocean Fishing Port of 13.3% as indicated by the coefficient of determination R²y (1.2) = 0.133.

Abstract

Analysis of the Effect of Brand Image, Price and Advertising on Samsung Smartphone Purchase Decisions (Study on STBM Dua Sudara Bitung Students) is a study conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of Brand Image, Price, and Advertising on Purchase Decisions both independently and together. This study uses the analytical method used in the study, namely multiple regression analysis using SPSS. This study used 82 samples of respondents and data collection techniques in the form of distributing questionnaires. The results obtained show that Brand Image, Price, Advertising, together affect the Samsung Smartphone Purchase Decision with an error rate of 5%, because the results of the hypothesis explain that the calculated F value is greater than Ftable at a significant level of 0.00, therefore it can be concluded that Brand Image, Price, Advertising together influence the Samsung Smartphone Purchase Decision. Partially shows that the Brand Image, Price, Advertising variables have a partial effect on the Samsung Smartphone Purchase Decision.

Abstract

Abstract. Reduced dependence on funds from the central government, proving that the receipt of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) is very good for implementing regional goverment. This is the same as the effectiveness and contribution of local taxes to local revenue, one of which is hotel tax. Hotel tax is a tax on services provided by hotels with payment. Hotel tax is included in the type of local tax that has the large contribution to the receipt of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of Bandung City. This research aims to calculate the effectiveness and contribution of hotel tax to Bandung City's Regional Original Revenue (PAD). The method used for this research is descriptive quantitative, in the form of explanation and analysis related to numbers which include the target and realization of hotel tax revenue and Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of Bandung City in the period 2019-2022. The results of the study indicate that the effectiveness of hotel tax revenue in Bandung City has fluctuated in the 2019-2022 period, the contribution of hotel tax to PAD is also still considered less than optimal.

Abstract

Analysis of the work productivity of Brebes Regency BPN employees in 2023. This research is motivated by several things related to the work productivity of Brebes Regency BPN employees, namely: 1) some employees experience difficulties in carrying out their duties serving the community; 2) some employees experience a decrease in work productivity; 3) several employees have complained about carrying out their duties to serve the community; and 4) some employees do not dare to take the risk of dealing with the problem of managing residents' land in Brebes Regency. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of compensation, work discipline, work motivation, service quality and physical work environment on the productivity of Brebes Regency BPN employees in 2023. The research method uses quantitative methods with a survey research design. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Test data requirements using: validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Statistical hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression with the F test and t test. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that there is a simultaneous influence of compensation, work discipline, motivation, service quality, and physical work environment on the work productivity of BPN (National Land Agency) Brebes Regency employees in 2023. Meanwhile, the service quality variable does not have a significant influence on employee work productivity BPN (National Land Agency) Brebes Regency in 2023.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand and know the challenges in managing an entrepreneurial business, as well as ways and strategies in entrepreneurship. This research is aimed at the public, such as the community, school children, and students. This type of research is qualitative using the literature library method which is a research approach carried out by collecting data, information, and relevant literature from written sources found in libraries or in the form of documents, articles, journals, books, reports, and other sources of information. The formulation of the problems contained in this study is how the challenges in managing entrepreneurial businesses and their methods and strategies. The results of this study are many challenges that must be faced by someone to be able to have a successful business, such as having to have a high intellectual about the business, having the capital to start a business and dare to compete with others. To be able to face this, an entrepreneur must be able to manage his business by planning, organizing, actually and controlling. In addition, an entrepreneur must have a strategy to survive to have a business, namely being able to manage business finances, always evaluating and willing to learn endlessly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendiskusikan kinerja bisnis PT PLN ULP Medan Timur dalam mengatasi masalah tunggakan pembayaran listrik. PT PLN ULP Medan Timur, sebagai penyedia listrik menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam upaya penagihan tunggakan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan sumber yang didapat melalui artikel maupun buku yang terkait dengan judul penelitian ini. Artikel ini menyajikan data yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan terpadu sehingga didapatkan data berupa penyebab masyarakat melakukan tunggakan listrik, alasan masyarakat yang kesusahan dalam inovasi PLN yaitu adanya aplikasi serta fitur terbaru dalam pembayaran serta dijelaskan pula beberapa strategi PLN dalam mengatasi tunggakan listrik yang dilakukan pengguna. Penelitian ini juga membahas berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi PT PLN ULP Medan Timur dalam mengelola tunggakan, termasuk kesadaran pelanggan, kondisi ekonomi, serta prosedur hukum dan regulasi yang kompleks. Selain itu, artikel ini menyoroti upaya inovatif yang diterapkan oleh PT PLN ULP Medan Timur untuk mengatasi masalah tunggakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment, workload and work ethic on the work productivity of PT. Duta Abadi Primantara Jakarta for Sales Promoter. The type of research used is quantitative method research. The sampling technique uses the saturated sample technique, which is to take the entire population to be sampled. The sample used 74 respondents. The methods of data collections using interview and questionnaire. The data analysis technique using application of IBM SPSS version 25. This study proves that (1) there is a significant effect of the work environment on employee work productivity, (2) there is a significant effect of workload on employee work productivity, (3) there is a significant effect of work ethic on employee work productivity, and (4) work environment, workload and work ethic together have a significant effect on employee productivity at PT. Duta Abadi Primantara.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence between the interest in capital expenditure and social expenditure of the Medan City government on the poverty rate with economic growth in Medan City. This research is quantitative research. The data used is sourced from BPS (Central Statistics Agency). The analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, processed using SPSS Program Version15.0. The results of the study show that: 1). The effect of capital expenditure on the economic growth of Medan City is H a accepted and H0 rejected, that partially capital expenditure has a significant and positive effect. 2). The effect of social spending on economic growth in Meda n Cityis H a accepted and H0 rejected, that partially social spending has a significant and positive effect. 3). The effect of economic growth on the poverty rate of Medan City is H a accepted and H 0 rejected, that partially economic growth has a significant and negative effect. 4). The effect of capital expenditure on the poverty rate in Medan City is H a accepted and H0 rejected, that partially capital expenditure has a significant and positive effect. 5). The effect of social spending on the poverty rate in Medan City is H a accepted and H0 rejected, that partially social spending has a significant and negative effect. 6). The effect of capital expenditure and social expenditure on poverty rates through economic growth in Medan City has a significant effect. 7). The effect of capital expenditure and social expenditure and economic growth on the poverty rate in Medan City is then H a is accepted and H0 is rejected. With the meaning that simultaneously economic growth is able to mediate capital expenditure, social spending affects the poverty rate in Medan City.

Abstract

This article tries to summarize the potential of Islamic sharia economics to solve the Indonesian case in the economic aspect. One example is the poverty of society in Indonesia, which is more than half of the population, so this article attempts to discover the economic system in Indonesia, the first country, thereby illustrating the principles of economic value from the perspective of Islamic sharia and internalizing them in the Indonesian economic system. Islam, as the last religion revealed by Allah SWT, has the means of various efforts made to anticipate and resolve the challenges that occur in this era of globalization. The Al-Quran and As-Sunnah as the main sources of Islamic law provide tools so that Islamic teachings are always suitable for all times, namely with Islamic sharia economics being able to solve all economic problems in Indonesia, as stated by As-Shidiqy stating that "In responding to economic problems in At that time, Islamic Economics became a response from Muslim thinkers. In this endeavor, they are guided by the Koran, Sunnah, and use thought and experience as a guide.”
