Abstract

Islamic business ethics are moral values ​​and rules that govern business activities within the framework of Islamic teachings. This study aims to achieve justice, integrity and honesty as well as balance and prosperity for all parties involved. The problem that occurs is that companies in Indonesia have not yet fully implemented business ethics in running the company. The research method used is library research, by collecting and analyzing data from various sources such as journals, books, and related articles. The results of the analysis show that Islamic business ethics refers to the main sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Qur'an and Hadith, which provide guidelines on how humans should interact fairly and ethically in economic transactions. In the perspective of Islamic law, there are basic principles that must be avoided in doing business, namely: not containing elements of usury, not containing elements of fraud and not doing business with prohibited goods. In conclusion, understanding and applying the principles of basic values ​​of honesty, justice, and mutual benefit and benefits for their business. This not only provides benefits for the company in the long term, but also has a positive impact on society and the surrounding environment. Thus, Islamic business ethics become a strong foundation in managing business sustainably and building a just and prosperous society.

Abstract

JEcoware is an eco-friendly innovation in the form of biodegradable plates made from teak leaves and recycled cardboard. This product was developed to address the growing problem of plastic waste, particularly in the household and food industry sectors. This study employs a SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the product in the market. The results indicate that the product has great potential in the eco-friendly market, despite challenges such as product durability and low public awareness. With well-directed strategies, such as technological innovation and collaboration with local farmers, JEcoware has the potential to enhance competitiveness and expand its market to the international level.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly fierce business competition, the quality of human resources (HR) is one of the key factors that determine the success of a company. One Boulevard Food Court realizes the importance of HR as a valuable asset that plays a role in ideation, driving performance, and implementing activities to achieve company goals. However, currently, the employee assessment and recruitment process implemented is not optimal in supporting overall HR development. The unstructured system creates problems in determining the quality of prospective employees and evaluating the performance of existing employees. The unclear criteria and subjective assessment process resulted in many employees who did not meet the company's expectations. It is necessary to design a more structured employee assessment and recruitment form to overcome this problem. This formula is designed based on the company's needs analysis and includes criteria to assess employee competencies, skills, and potential. Through this system, One Boulevard Food Court is expected to increase transparency and efficiency in the administration process, as well as ensure that recruited employees meet the required quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' preferences and perceptions regarding laptop prices as essential tools for academic activities. Laptops are a primary necessity for students to support learning activities such as completing assignments, attending online classes, and conducting research. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 197 management students at Bina Bangsa University. Data were collected through a questionnaire covering variables such as price, specifications, brand, and purchasing preferences. The analysis shows that the majority of students prefer laptops priced below IDR 7,000,000, prioritizing specifications that enhance work efficiency, such as storage capacity and processor speed. Brand reputation also significantly influences purchasing decisions, as well-known brands are perceived to be more reliable despite their higher prices. This study concludes that affordability, appropriate specifications, and brand reputation are the main factors influencing students' choices in purchasing laptops. The findings provide insights for manufacturers to design products that align with students' needs and purchasing power.

Abstract

This study aims to test the influence of content sharing, viral marketing, and epistemic value on the purchasing decision of Azarine sunscreen and its views in the Perspective of Islamic Business Ethics on Students in Bandar Lampung City. This study uses a quantitative approach. This study was conducted on students in Bandar Lampung. City who know about Azrarine sunscreen products and use the TikTok application with a population of 90,302 people. Sampling using purposive sampling, to determine the number of samples using the Solvin formula which got 100 people. The analysis method uses SPSS 25. The tests carried out are data validity and reliability tests, analysis prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests.The test results show that Content Sharing partially has no effect on the purchase decision of Azarine sunscreen. While simultaneously (together) the variables of content sharing, viral marketing, and epistemic value have a significant positive effect on the purchase decision of Azarine sunscreen on the TikTok application according to students in Bandar Lampung City,

Abstract

This research explores Brand Image and Word of Mouth on purchasing decisions at Mr. DIY West Aceh with research objectives to analyze and determine the influence between brand image, Word of Mouth and purchasing decisions. Using a correlational quantitative approach with 100 samples drawn using a non- probability sampling technique calculated using the lemeshow formula. The research results show that Brand Image (X1) has a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions (Y) at MR DIY, with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, Word of Mouth (X2) has a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions (Y), with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05 and the F test results show that the regression model that combines Brand Image (X1) and Word of Mouth (X2) on Purchasing Decisions (Y) has a very significant influence, with an F value of 106.554 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Apart from this, it still needs to be improved by optimizing Word of Mouth and a more comprehensive marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Third Party Funds (TPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on Return on Asset (ROA) of Bank Aceh Syariah. The analysis was conducted using monthly time series data published by Bank Aceh Syariah in a study period from 2018 to 2022. This study uses a quantitative causality approach. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was conducted using statistical tests, namely partial tests (t-test) and simultaneous tests (F-test). The results of the study showed that TPF and FDR together had a positive and significant effect on ROA. Partially, TPF has a positive and significant effect on ROA, while FDR has a positive but insignificant effect on ROA.

Abstract

This research aims to influence the public budget on labor absorption in West Aceh Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is quantitative research with a Multiple Linear Regression approach. The subjects of this research are public spending (or realization of direct spending), non-public spending (realization of indirect spending) of the West Aceh Regency government for the 2019-2022 Fiscal Year, and the level of labor absorption and the pandemic period during the first semester 2019-second semester 2022 . Research data is secondary data, sourced from BPS and DPKKD West Aceh Regency. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The results of the t test stated that each variable had a significant effect on the level of labor absorption during the pandemic in West Aceh Regency. The public budget variable partially has a positive and significant effect on the labor absorption variable at the 95 percent confidence level, the non-public budget variable has a significant and negative effect at alpha 0.05. Simultaneous hypothesis testing states that the independent variables public budget and non-public budget together have a positive and significant effect on labor absorption in West Aceh Regency during the pandemic. The results of the correlation test show that the direction of the relationship between the public budget and non-public budget is directly proportional to the level of labor absorption in the very strong category. The coefficient of determination states that the variance in the level of labor absorption can be explained by public budget and non-public budget variables of 92.5 percent and the remaining 7.5 percent is explained by variables outside the model

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of batik styles and tembung souvenirs from Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, in developing local communities, especially in economic and cultural aspects. Batik with a typical regional style and tembung souvenirs are superior products that have the potential to increase people’s income and introduce local cultural riches. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using observation techniques, interviews and content analysis of these craft products. The research results show that these two products have a positive impact on the community’s economy, especially through increasing the skills of local craftsmen and increasing tourist interest. Apart from that, batik products and tembung souvenirs help strengthen regional cultural identity and promote local uniqueness at a wider level. This research concludes that the development of batik style and tembung souvenirs has a strategic role in economic empowerment and cultural preservation in Percut Sei Tuan District.

Abstract

Mudharabah contracts are used in Indonesian sharia insurance products to provide financial solutions that comply with Islamic sharia rules. According to the terms of the contract, insurance companies act as fund managers (mudharib) and participants as capital owners (shahibul mal), working together to share profits. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to assess the concept, implementation mechanism, and implementation obstacles. The study’s findings show how the mudharabah contract promotes socioeconomic sustainability by prioritizing justice, openness, and trust; however, more attention is required to issues such as competition from conventional insurance and a lack of Islamic financial knowledge.
