Abstract

They are raising international issues related to road maintenance and repair. Road damage occurring in various countries, including cracks, potholes, and surface deformation, significantly impacts transportation safety and efficiency. Many roads in certain regions experience damage, such as cracks, potholes, and surface deformation due to increased traffic loads and extreme weather conditions. This paper aims to analyze road damage in Karamat Village according to Bina Marga standards to identify and understand the causes and effects of such damage. Primary data is collected from field observations at the study site, referred to as primary or first-hand data. The road damage found on Pajaten Road in Karamat Village, Majalengka Regency, includes patches, cracks, disintegration, potholes, and waves. Routine maintenance aims to improve the surface layer quality without increasing structural strength. The Pajaten road section in Karamat Village, Majalengka Regency, has conditions of loose stones, cracks, patches, potholes, and waves. The Directorate General of Highways states that the calculation results have a priority order 10, placing it in the priority group > 7. According to Bina Marga, road damage is addressed through a routine maintenance schedule. Patching is recommended and suggested for repairing road cracks, ruts, and collapses.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of Company Growth, Company Profitability, and Market Capitalization through Environmental, Social, & Governance on Company Value. This study uses a quantitative approach with data from financial statements published and audited by independent institutions. It also uses the SmartPLS 3.2.9 application in the research data processing process. The Population of this study is 87 issuers in the energy sector. Through several stages, as many as ten issuers were obtained as research samples with seven years of observation. The study results show that Profitability and Market Capitalization have a positive and significant effect on Environmental and Social Governance (E.S.G.), and Profitability and Market Capitalization have a positive and significant impact on Company Value. Meanwhile, the Corporate Growth variable has a negative and insignificant impact on Environmental, Social, and governance (E.S.G.). Corporate Growth and Environmental, Social, and governance have an adverse andnegligible effect on Company Value. Environmental, Social, and governance (E.S.G.) cannot mediate the influence of Company Growth, Profitability, and Market Capitalization on Company Value. The Total Determination Coefficient in this study was 0.335 or 33.5%. That is, the information contained in the data is 33.5%, which the model can explain. At the same time, the rest is explained by other variables not included in the model.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for higher education institutions to enhance economic efficiency in the learning process through innovative technology. ChatGPT, as an artificial intelligence (AI) model, is expected to support more effective and efficient learning processes significantly. This study aims to evaluate ChatGPT integration's impact on economic efficiency at Budi Utomo National Institute. The research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach involving 150 respondents consisting of lecturers and students. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, and the results were analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. The findings show that the integration of ChatGPT significantly improves operational cost efficiency in education, reduces administrative burdens, and accelerates access to learning resources. The discussion focuses on AI's long-term potential in enhancing teaching quality and the challenges of implementing such technology in higher education institutions. This study concludes that ChatGPT can be an effective tool for achieving economic efficiency in higher education, though proper strategies are needed to optimize its use sustainably.

Abstract

In the digital era, social media has become a significant tool in redefining how Society participates in politics. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram enable individuals and groups to voice their opinions, organize movements, and influence public policy more directly and swiftly than traditional media. This study aims to examine the transformation of political participation in the digital age, focusing on the role of social media in shaping public opinion and mass mobilization. The research method used in this study is a literature review. The research finds that social media has the power to expand the reach of political participation, especially among younger generations and marginalized groups who were previously difficult to engage through traditional political channels. However, this study also highlights several challenges, including spreading misinformation, opinion polarization, and the risk of political manipulation through social media algorithms. In conclusion, social media has great potential to transform political participation, but it also requires a cautious approach to managing its negative impacts. Further research is needed to understand how policies can be adapted to this new reality to ensure more inclusive and healthy political participation in the digital age.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has transformed the construction industry by offering a robust platform that integrates design, analysis, and construction processes within a single digital environment. This research explores the application of BIM technology, explicitly using Autodesk Revit, in modeling bridge abutments—an essential component in bridge construction that supports and distributes loads from the superstructure to the foundation. The study aims to demonstrate how BIM enhances the efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability of abutment design and construction. The methodology involves a comprehensive review of existing literature on BIM and bridge abutment design, focusing on technological advancements, case studies, and best practices. Additionally, practical implementation of BIM using Revit is conducted to develop detailed 3D models of abutments, incorporating architectural, structural, and geotechnical elements. The benefits of BIM in this context include improved collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, enhanced visualization capabilities for design optimization, and early detection of clashes and constructability issues. The research investigates the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with BIM to enhance site selection and environmental assessment phases, ensuring informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Innovations in materials science, such as the use of fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) and ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), are also considered for their potential to enhance the durability and longevity of bridge abutments. Ultimately, this study contributes to advancing the application of BIM in civil engineering, particularly in bridge construction, by showcasing Revit's capabilities in creating accurate, data-rich models that improve project outcomes.
